Lori sighed as Todd cried from the other room. "It's been so long since we had a baby in the house. I have a headache."

Damien changed Todd smirking softly. It had been a week since the boy had come home and he could see Lori getting tired. A bark sounded from the hallway as Gemini's new pet played with Ace.

Bruce nodded, yawning. "I'd forgotten how tiring it could be, having a baby around." He said.

Gemini, of course, was thrilled with her new pet. They had managed to get a husky puppy from the shelter, and Gemini hadn't parted with it since. Though between the puppy and Todd, she was getting pretty tired.

Rosemary came in to check on Todd and found Damian already taking care of him. She smiled and kissed his cheek. "You're so good about taking care of Todd, half the time you're here before I am." She observed.

Damien blushed softly and shrugged. "I just seem to know when my boys upset." he kissed Todds forehead.

"I need a nap." Lori sighed letting her head hit Bruce's chest. "We all do."

Rosemary smiled at the scene as Todd giggled and grabbed his father's nose. "I knew you'd be a great father."

"Maybe we can take one when he's asleep next time." Bruce suggested without much hope.

Damien blushed more. "It would appear so." he smiled then glanced at there parents. "maybe you three should take a vacation."

"No. You two need us" Lori nodded.

"mom...your basically falling asleep standing. We don't need to be taking care of you as well as the baby." Damien pointed out.

"Besides, we're doing fine." Rosemary said. "He's our son, and we're taking care of him just fine. You three, on the other hand, aren't any help at all when you're this tired." She pointed out.

Gemini happened upon the conversation at that moment. "But, we can handle it. We raised you two, after all." She said, though it was clear she liked the idea of a vacation.

"Mom. You need a rest. You all do." Rosemary insisted.

"You two could finally go on your second honeymoon and I promise that if anything happens we'll call." Damien smirked when he saw the look on Lori's face knowing he had her.

"Alright so long as you promise to call." Lori sighed. "A vacation sounds nice."

Bruce smiled. "That does sound nice." He said. He was willing to go anywhere Lori wanted to go, so it worked for him.

Rosemary saw her mother wavering. "We'll send you on an island retreat. Lots of hot men serving you...and you can bring the puppy."

Gemini broke. "Oh, alright, if you insist. But like Lori said, you have to promise to call!" She said.

"Where should we go?" Lori asked Bruce and Gemini. "anywhere is good to me. Of course Bruce will pay for it."

"Actually we are going to pay for it and i have the perfect place for you guys to go." Damien grinned.

Gemini blinked. "Wait, hang on a second. I can't go to the same place as them." She said. Judging by the look on Bruce's face, he agreed. "If they're going on a second honeymoon. then I refuse to be a third wheel. And even more than that, I refuse to be anywhere where I can hear them doing it."

Bruce's cheeks brightened to a pink color. "Thank you for that, Gemini." He said. "Although I have to agree. We can't have a friend along on a second honeymoon. It would just be awkward."

Rosemary laughed. "Relax, we didn't plan on sending you all to the same place. Auntie Lori and Uncle Bruce will go on a honeymoon retreat, and mom will go somewhere far away from that honeymoon retreat."

"So that way you can't hear them do it." Damien smirked. "Mom, Dad you two are going to Paris. I know you've always wanted to go."

Lori sighed wistfully. "I can't wait."

"And Mom, you're going on a cruise that ends in a week long stay in Japan." Rosemary said.

Bruce smiled gratefully. "Thank you. Both of you."

Gemini squealed. "Oh, I've always wanted to visit Japan! And a cruise on top of it...thank you!"

"How did we get so lucky?" Lori hugged them. "You two are so great." she smiled.

"You guys deserve it." Damien shrugged.

Rosemary nodded. "Yeah, you've done so much for us for so long. It's way past time you got rewarded for being such awesome parents." She agreed.

Gemini was next up to hug them both. "I'm proud of both of you, I want you to know that. I couldn't have asked for a better daughter, or a better son-in-law."

Rather than the emotional hugging, Bruce just gave them a smile. "We really appreciate this."

"Lets get going!" Lori dragged Bruce off to pack.

Damien laughed and shook his head. "She's full of vinegar. You think you can get use to it but its not possible with her."

Gemini hurried off to do her own packing, throwing one last thank you back at the two.

Rosemary chuckled. "True, but that's part of what makes her lovable." She said.

Damien nodded. "I can't imagine how bad I would be if Lori hadn't been her...or how unbearable dad would have been." he grimaced then yelped as Lori breezed past with Bruce and there luggage.

"Bye!" Lori called with a wave. "Jeez. She does know I'm holding a baby right?" Damien glanced at Todd who had the most confused look on his face Damien laughed.

Bruce rushed past a little more carefully, trying not to be left behind. "Sorry." He told them. "She's...excited. Well, take care and be safe okay? And remember to call us if anything happens."

Rosemary chuckled. "We will, we promise. Now go have fun!" She said, shoving him playfully after Lori.

Damien sighed then blinked. "I just realized we are in the house alone with Martha." he whispered her name. "I'm scared."

Rosemary shuddered. "Well...we'll just have to tell her it's her responsibility to help keep things calm and make sure the house is in one piece when they get back." She said.

Damien nodded. "And hope nothing gets her over excited, sad or mad." he grimaced a little. "We are so hosed."

"I'm sure she'll hold back if we stress how important it is. She wants to be a good aunt for Todd, after all. And a good aunt would do her best to keep a safe and calm environment for her nephew." Rosemary said.

Just then Martha appeared. "Where are mom and dad off to?" she asked. "A well earned vacation. Which means your second in command." Damien smiled at her. "We'll need your help with the baby and I'll need help with patrol." "Yes sir!" Martha looked happy.
