"Good, I have a feeling you're going to love it." Bruce said, kissing her on the cheek. "I just need to get dressed and we'll be all set to go. Oh, and you get to drive home later."

Suddenly, Rosemary burst through the door and hugged Jason's legs. "Hi Jay! I'm ready, let's go!" She said excitedly, looking up at him with her bright, gap-toothed smile. She had lost her first tooth the week before.

Chuckling, Gemini followed Rose out. "Alright, go on now. Don't want to be late. Thank you for taking her, Jason. I'd drive her if I didn't have work in...ten minutes! Ohmygosh I need to hurry! Be good you two, stay safe! I'll see you after school, Rose!" She gave her daughter a rushed kiss on the forehead before heading off to her car.

Rosemary rolled her eyes. "Mommy's bad at time-telling. Let's go!"

"You know the deal we made." Jason grinned. "You hold my hand the whole way and I'll treat you to ice cream after school." He held out his hand glad Lori had taught him the fine art of child wrangling.

Lori pouted then grinned. "Well hurry up and change slow poke!" She pushed him towards the stairs.

Rosemary smiled again, grabbing Jason's hand. "Okay! I'll hold tight!" She said, squeezing his hand as hard as she could- which wasn't very hard.

Bruce chuckled. "Alright, alright. I'm going." He said, headed up the stairs. He was back in less than in minute, fully dressed and ready to go. "Okay, let's go."

Jason grinned and walked with her to school waving to a few people. When they got there he even took her to her first class "Don't be nervous I know you'll make friends just be yourself. If you have any problems just tell me and I'll help you all I can." he ruffled her hair. "Now go have fun."

Lori took his hand until they got there car she closed her eyes when they got in to the car. "This way I won't know where we are going till we get there."

Rosemary's bright smile had turned into a look of determination. "Okay, I'll do my best. Thanks Jacey!" She said, waving to him as she entered her classroom.

Bruce smiled. "You read my mind. Just keep them closed, we'll be there soon." He said, buckling up and starting the car. He gunned the engine and ten minutes later the car slowed to a stop. "Here we are."

Jason grumbled about the nickname as he headed for class wishing she wouldn't call him that all the time.

Lori opened her eyes and hissed at the bright light.

Rosemary walked bravely into her classroom and sat down in the front, right next to a boy with black hair who reminded her of someone, though she wasn't sure who.

They were in front of a sleek private jet. "We'll be flying to my private island where I have a picnic set up." Bruce said. He wanted the setting to be perfect, and this was the best way to make sure no one interrupted.

((I wish you had said that earlier I would have had Lori get prego with him. Know I don't know whether to have Talia have him or wait and let Lori have him like I wanted.))

The boy glanced at Rose stuck his tongue out and studied the teacher. "Everyone let's introduce ourselves." The teacher got to the boy. "Damien Wayne." He smirked as the teacher gaped.

Lori blinked and looked at him. "But what if Jason needs us?" She blushed softly.

Rosemary frowned. If this boy was going to be mean, she would just ignore- wait, what? Rosemary gaped at him. "That can't be your real name! Uncle Bruce doesn't have a son!" She blurted out.

Bruce smiled. "He's fine. We'll only be gone a few hours, and I've made sure that he's ready to handle things alone, if it comes to that." He said. "Now come on, or the food will go bad before we get there."

"Alright if your sure." Lori climbed onto the plane and then slipped into a seat waiting for take off. She fell asleep on the ride there waking when they landed. "I didn't know you owned a place like this." She stared at the beautiful island.

Damien shrugged and sat down. "Obviously there are things you don't know about your uncle."

Bruce shrugged. "It's a fairly recent find, actually. Apparently my parents left it to me, but the will stated that I wouldn't learn about it until I got a serious girlfriend. It's like they knew." He chuckled. The picnic basked was a little ways down the beach, the blanket already set out for them to sit on. "Have a seat. I packed as many of your favorite foods as I could."

Rosemary was adamant. "I know everything about my uncle!" She said. To her, it was true. In her five-year-old mind, it mad no sense that her uncle would have any secrets. She believed, as every young child does, that her family was innocent of everything. There was no such thing as lying, cheating or deceit. Those things don't exist when you're little.

Damien snorted gentle. "And yet here I am with Bruce Wayne as my father. Your next anyways so introduce yourself."

Lori sat down on the blanket blushing softly. "Well you had to get a serious relationship at some point or at least they hoped so." She chuckled and set out the food. "Looks good...how long did it take Alfred to cook it?"

Rosemary scowled. "My name is Rosemary Starr and Bruce Wayne is my uncle, so you're a liar." She said, crossing her arms. "I bet you've never even met him."

Bruce chuckled- she was right, after all. He sat down. "Hey, who says I didn't make it?" He said, pretending to be hurt. Of course, he couldn't hold it and laughed. "Alfred only had to work about two hours. I swear that man has super powers."

"It's possible." Lori laughed and then dug in sighing softly. "I love Alfred's cooking." she finished quickly and groaned. "Maybe I shouldn't have eaten so fast."

Damien blinked then laughed. "Just because I've never seen the man doesn't mean anything I've seen his baby pictures and I have the dna test. I am the proud son of Bruce Wayne. Soon mother will introduce me to him and then we shall see know teacher lets see if you can teach me anything." he smirked and looked to the teacher already bored.

Bruce ate a little more slowly. "You shouldn't have eaten so fast." He said, amused. "So, Lori, did you know that today is the five-year anniversary of our first date? I got you a present to celebrate."

Rosemary huffed. True, the kid did look like her uncle a little bit, but she wouldn't believe him until Bruce told her it was true. And what's a DNA test, anyway? Is this kid even really five? She wondered to herself.

Damien grew even more bored as the teacher went on about things his grandfather had already taught him.

Lori nodded and smiled. "I know." She frowned at the mention of a gift. "That's not fair mines at home." She sighed. "I'll give you the first half." She held up a leash and collar the tag was bat shaped while the leash and collar where a blue color.

Rosemary knew most of what was being said already as well, courtesy of Bruce, Lori, Gemini and Alfred all being willing to teach her. Seeing that Damian wasn't interested either, she decided to write a note. After writing it, she flicked it across to land perfectly on his desk when the teacher's back was turned. You're too smart for a five-year-old. Where'd you learn from? It read. Though the letters were sloppy, the spelling was perfect.

Bruce smiled and shook his head. "I think you know me too well. My gift is really two gifts as well...look inside the basket." As if on cue, the picnic basket rocked back and forth, and tiny scuffling sound coming from inside. A squeak sounded, and sudenly one flap was pushed up to reveal the head of a tiny black kitten with a blue ribbon around it's neck. Tied to the ribbon was a tiny box.

"Aw look how cute you are." Lori grinned picking the tiny kitten up kissing it's head. "What should we name you...Gigi." she blinked at the box and pulled it off and opened it.

Damien glanced at the message and slipped it back after writing the answer. The answer would be to long to write here I'll tell you later if you want. his writing was a little sloppy as well so at least he was a little normal

Inside the box was a very expensive looking diamond ring. Holding the collar Lori had given him, Bruce smiled. "Lori, I love you. If you'll give me the chance, I'll spend the rest of my life proving hoe much. Will you marry me?"

Rosemary read the note and nodded. She passed it back after writing Okay, we'll talk at lunch.

At lunch Damien sat sipping his juice staring at Jason who was staring at him. "you want me to believe your Bruce's son." Jason said slowly as if he was testing the sentence. "Doesn't matter if you believe or not I am. Talia al ghul is my mother, Ra's al ghul is my grandfather." Damien shrugged. "Prove it." Jason scowled and Damien sighed "I had thought only to show this to father but if you insist." he passed Jason a piece of paper. Turning pale Jason sat "Oh...fudge." he glanced at Rose then stood. "I'll be right back." he vanished.

Just as Lori was going to say yes her cell phone rang. "Hello?" she blinked "Jason what's wrong?" "Come home know bring the man with you." Jason growled Lori knew it was bad Jason only called Bruce the man when he was mad. "Don't say yes to the question he just asked till you come home." he added before hanging up. "We have to get back Jason's in trouble or something." she slipped the ring onto her necklace and started to pack hefting Gigi into her arms. "Come on." she hurried to the plane.

Rosemary watched the exchange with interest. She had insisted that Jason sit with her at lunch, because she figured he could figure out the truth better than her. When Jason disappeared, she looked at Damian. "Jasey never looks that scared. What did you do to him?" She asked, caught between being impressed and being angry.

Bruce raised an eyebrow at the conversation going on, but jumped up instantly when Lori said Jason was in trouble. They got to the plane and Bruce told the pilot to step on it. They made it back in record time.
