Omg it's so good - I definitely recommend it! You should be able to watch it online on the network's website - if not it's also on Hulu if you can watch it on that! When the season's over it'll probably be on Netflix too It's so good though - has a nice balance of comedy and substance

Hiya Kaisune! Nice to meet you! :D
I originally was a night owl because I have Fibro and have a hard time sleeping, especially when insomnia adds into it, but now I'm a night owl because I take the night shift caring for my Gram (who now needs 24/7 care) so I'm up a good portion of the night until she's settled and I can nap a little!
What kind of anime do you watch? :D -huge Anime/Manga fan-

I found that staring up at my stars on the walls and ceiling helps me relax my mind and drift off. Sometimes Tylenol PM or Tylenol Sleepy Time does the trick. Sleep patterns have been all messed up for me since the job I had for seven years decided to start messing with me in regards to whether I would have a job or not because one person had an issue with me. She reported me for things that I did not do and when HR came to investigate they attacked me for not "accepting" her into the team. Which is BS! *Takes a deep breath* But it's all better now because I told them where to stick it and found a job that actually treats me like a human being and they like having me around. Very weird feeling.
These days it's stress that keeps me from getting a good night's sleep. Being an adult sucks the big one.
Emma! I haven't chatted with you in forever! Really do miss our walls of text back and forth to each other.

Oh jeez - that must have been brutal to deal with! Especially having to be investigated by HR because of some petty differences - that's just ridiculous. I'm glad you were able to stand up for yourself and find a new job that's worth being involved with! I would have done the exact same thing.
I know!! It's been far too long!! <3 -hugs-

Haha Yeahh - sleeping in late is definitely a good sign that you're going to be up late!! I have about 12 hours in me that I can stay awake for, though not necessarily functionally awake (that lasts maybe 7 or 8 hours) - after that I crash
Usually while reading manga or anime - the subtitles and text make me sleepy xD;

Emma, I was not very nice when HR finally came back after six weeks and said they were handling the situation with the particular individual. Basically told them that I didn't trust them to do their job correctly, which spurred HR asking me how I would I know what their job is suppose to be, which is laughable at best and insulting at the worst. My mom was HR for every company she worked for before she retired. Definitely know what they are suppose to do to protect the workers when someone says they are in a hostile work environment.
It escalated quickly to me raising my voice at the woman, screaming that I didn't trust them anymore because apparent they were only out to protect themselves and didn't give a damn about keeping employees who had been with them seven years or more with no disciplinary issues or complaints. If they continued this witch hunt I would be seeking advice and counsel from an attorney and would involve the labor board because it had finally clicked with me that they were hunting me down for false allegations.
The woman that caused all the issues was eventually fired for her attitude, customer complaints and a few other issues they wouldn't divulge. In the mean time, two managers, one associate and a VP left because of how it was handled.
In the eight months that I haven't worked there, things have not improved for those that stayed. In fact, the quality of the product has gone down.

I've done that before - it's horrible lol
You're too exhausted to want to do anything other than lay in bed, you're too cranky for conversation, and you just get into a miserable mood and want to bite people's heads off, even if they say they want to give you a million dollars XD;
And then you end up staying up late again anyways because you're so overtired so you just crash when you finally do sleep!

That is absolutely insane. Good for you for sticking up for yourself and taking control of the situation. I think the aftermath of what happened just goes to show the company's true colors, and it just goes to show how wrongly mistaken they were in doing what they did to you! I'm glad there were repercussions and that the person responsible for starting the whole mess got what she deserved. That's just completely gut-wrenching on so many levels. I'm a huge ethics/law advocate and corruption like this just makes my blood boil.

I don't feel tired unless I try to sleep, so I can blow off sleep for a night no problem. Beyond that just feels unsafe, but perhaps I could. Stupid human body needs.

No doubt they will never let me work for Stewart again, but I ask myself, "Would I want to be subjected to their bullshit again...?" Only if the job situation got desperate enough and they were the only company hiring. Maybe then it would be a consideration.

LOL Yeahhh - not exactly healthy there hun! But it happens - as long as it's not a reoccurring thing that you blow off sleeping then it's pretty harmless You just don't want to exhaust the body too much - or train it to run on less sleep - that can cause health problems up the wazoo! :(

Lol! Honestly, would you want to lower yourself to their level even in the most desperate of times?? I think I'd consider starvation over a working environment like that where they're railroading and witch hunting!!

So very true. Starving would better than stooping to their sadistic bullshit again.
My husband and I are finally watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Holy cow this movie is hilarious. The antics, the back and forth between Newman and Redford, making me giggle every time.
Not sure what I want to do this weekend, there is the bedrooms at my friend's house to paint, but since my monthly has arrived, the idea of squatting and painting just isn't that thrilling. Do need to get some things from the store, Valentine's Day cards for family and friends. Since I didn't do Christmas cards, thought it would fun to do Valentine's Day instead.
There is the super bowl on Sunday, we do have a party to go to at a friend's house, yet I have no clue what to bring to the party. Argh! Not sure if I want to make something, or buy something pre-made. Decisions, decisions.
Any good or fun plans for the weekend?

Never heard of it/seen it! When was it released?
Making this are always fun!!! If you're stuck on what to bring, youtube Rosanna Pansino or Nerdy Nummies - she's fantastic! I have her cookbook and just adore her - she's been doing game day themed goodies this week though! She's done cookies, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc. - and you can even look at her other goodies and adapt them to fit the football theme or to the colors of the teams! I always find making something is so much more rewarding than buying because if they eat what you made, it makes it extra special
Then again I'm the kind of person who makes way too much food for a party because I love doing it! XD;
Nothing too exciting unfortunately - wanted to go see Nicholas Sparks' new movie but our local theater isn't getting it until next week. :( So I'll probably just be organizing my rooms and Grad school searching this weekend!
