Because I take the night shift in caring for my Gram
I'm here from about 8pm (sometimes earlier) until 8am when my Mom comes to get her up and get her breakfast etc. She wears a bipap at night now and needs someone there in case she has a coughing fit, needs a drink, develops any issues breathing, the machine stops working, etc. It's only me and my Mom as we have a very non-supporting family - partially due to distance, mainly due to pure laziness and because they feel like they've done their duty by calling or visiting every 4-6 months - so we've had to sacrifice a lot to take care of her That's why I took time off of school and had to take time off work as well - can't be up at night and during the day!

The movie is from the seventies I believe. It's an older movie for sure. Paul Newman has been deceased for quite some time.
Decided to make the chicken dip that I usually make and since it's orange in color it does go with the team colors for the Broncos, which is my friend's husband's football team.
And now my car is acting up, the battery died, which is just beyond crazy since it's a relatively new battery. Haven't driven it in the three days, but that's a reason for the batter to discharge. Ugh, cars are the worst.

Ohh gotcha I'm not sure if I've seen any of his movies!
Chicken wing dip is delicious - we make it ourselves! We tend to keep it on the less spicy side though
Definitely makes a perfect party dish too - I know nothing about the teams but if one is orange and it's a favorite then that's even better!
Oh no! That's not good - have you checked wiring to make sure it didn't short circuit or something? Especially if the battery is relatively new - it shouldn't quit that easily o.o;

Emma it turns out that alternator has taken a giant shit and for this reason everything was pulling off the battery and not charging off the alternator like it is suppose to. At this point the car is eight years old, needs a new alternator, new battery, new catalytic converter and O2 sensor, all of which is going to cost me about two thousand dollars. My car isn't even worth that much, sucks.
And to top it all off, I am feeling less than stellar right now. No fever, some congestion, mostly at night, no sore throat but I feel run down and I ache. Every time I move it aches, even my scalp ached this morning when I brushed my hair. Falling apart over here.
Also wondering when the Valentine's Day event is going to start. Got my test thread almost completely updated with everything. Should be a fun event, giving away the elusive V-Day Pin from 2007.

Emma, the cut hasn't stopped bleeding? That doesn't sound good. How is your platelet count? Might need to see that doctor before too long because it could indicate a larger problem with your clotting potential.
We were experiencing colder weather last week, this week we are in the 80s, which is annoying. Plus the air is super dry and that is what led to me having a bloody nose yesterday and a double bloody nose this morning. Living in the desert sucks the big one. My husband and I should move to a state that gets snow, since I love the cold and forget about the damn desert. But the job I have is the one I have been looking for and I love it. Definitely don't want to leave anytime soon. *sighs* Guess I will be stuck in the desert for awhile.
As for the car situation, we are going to try and remedy it this weekend if we can. I'll let you know for sure if something does change. In the mean time, I still carpool with my friend as we have done for the past few weeks. We love carpooling, makes the 15 minute drive that much faster and funner. My husband doesn't mind being the one to drive for awhile, since I can be a control freak. If need be, I can always get a rental car for a weekend or a week.
I really want a truck, so we'll see how it goes.

My dad always had a truck, there was never a time we didn't have a truck when I was growing up. Always liked them, just something about riding high and the feel of a truck. They are fun to drive. Most of my friends have had or currently own trucks, I feel left out. My husband doesn't mind me getting a truck, he knows it's my passion to own one. I would like to own it sooner rather than later.
Ran to Target yesterday for a few things and picked up a saline nose spray, Claritin and Afrin, just in case. The Saline spray did help a lot yesterday with the nose issues. In fact, this morning I woke up to a nose feeling much better and not so damn dry.
However, I do have another issue with my apartment and that would be the ineffective A/C. It ran all night and never got the apartment below 77 degrees. Ugh and we aren't even in the height of summer so there is no reason for why it's not keeping up I've had the husband go down and bitch at them to get it fixed and they say they have, well guess what! No, it hasn't been fixed. Over a month now I have complained about it. So I am going to tell them they either fix and get it working correctly, or I start deducting the additional expense in power because it's not working correctly from the rent until they do fix. Money seems to be the only thing these ass hats care about, so I will hit them where it hurts.

If you got the funds I say go for it! Especially if you grew up with one and have a passion for it - definitely worth it and now is as good a time as any! I grew up with them too - I enjoy driving a truck but I don't think I could own one for regular driving too high of a hike when I'm so short LOL!
Yayyy! I'm so glad it worked for you - I couldn't remember if saline nose sprays were over the counter or not - glad they were! I'd say just use it once a day for awhile and as needed if your nose feels dry and hopefully that'll help heal it up and keep the nosebleeds away <3
My goodness - is anything not going to fall apart on you?? First your job, then your car, then your nose, now your A/C - I think we need to put you in a bubble LOL!
I'd definitely tell them to take the cost out of your rent though if you're paying for A/C - I would also take videos with your phone or camera and show the A/C on and show what the temp in the apartment is and show it to them - maybe that'll get their asses into gear! Money and threats are a horrible last resort, but when all else fails you gotta do what you gotta do. My brother has done that before with his landlord - it's a real pain in the ass but it gets the job done!

Now I am just frustrated as all hell. The A/C still hasn't been looked at and I called yesterday. Ugh. Right now both doors are propped open letting fresh air run through the apartment and it's keeping the place below 77 degrees.
And what the shit is this about Valentine's Day event being a mini one? I am not wasting the V-Day pin on a mini event. Damn it. Got to rethink what kind of thread I am going to do for the "mini" event. Grr.

Well thst sucks! Is there any way to report them for failing to keep up the rental property? I mean, you would think there would be some way way to enforce their responsibility - that's just not right, especially in a desert area where the heat can get unbareable!
I don't blame you - I wouldn't waste it either!

Aw - well if you change your mind please feel free to ask me anything! I've been roleplay in since like, 2005 or something, so lots of experience creating characters and such!
One general tip I can give though, is that more is always better - whether it's shared or for your personal reference. For example - birthdays, family members, family history, blood type, quirks, likes and dislikes such as food or tv shows or weapon of choice, etc - depending on the character you're creating and the roleplay you're creating it for, info may be relevant or irrelevant - but try to incorporate as much into your character as you can - it makes them more real and allows you to progress and build your character layers more thoroughly as you develop the roleplay - plus it can make things interesting if something happens where you can throw in a backstop or a like or dislike and incorporate it into the current plot!

Ahhh - I thought you were talking about OCs in the context of Roleplay lol!
Surprisingly I'm full of creativity for a roleplay but when it comes to writing books and such I utterly blank with writer's block - so I'm not much help with that one lol! Although it seems my advice was already in use if you have a character development sheet that's pretty massive! <3

Have you explored any relationships with other fellow authors to get a feel for their writing style and whether you could potentially work with them or not?
