Anyone else like the sound fingernails make on certain keyboards? Not sure why, but it's an interesting sound to me. I say that as my nails have grown out a bit and since I've changed my keyboard back to the regular one, I can hear the difference my fingers make when typing. Besides, the flat rubber one I was using seemed to mess up and miss inputting key strokes. Drove me batty.
And this work week has slowly died. Thankfully tomorrow is pay day! Yippee! Going to be broke right after I pay bills. Ugh. Being the working poor bites the big one.

I might like the sound you speak of. But usually when my fingernails get on my keys and make a sound, it's because they've gotten so long they're catching the keys and making me typo. XDX

Thirty two years old and I bite my nails...bad I know, but whatever. Right now, they have grown out enough that I can hear them strike the keys, not enough to make me typo though.
One of the companies I worked for had a keyboard on my computer that was older and the keys were that stiffer "clicking" noise when you typed...almost like a typewriter, I loved that keyboard. Only issue is that the keys were stiffer and made my fingers tired at the end of the day. Got an ergo keyboard after that and it's amazing how fast my fingers could fly on that baby. Should probably bring it to work here, kind of missing it right now. However, it's like seven years old and the "A" is missing, so is the "S" and some of the other letters are partially disappeared.
Guess they should invent a better adhesive for the keyboards I use...or better yet! To be a beta tester for a new adhesive on a keyboard letter! Sign me up for that job as extra money.

Bite your nails all you want. Unless, of course, you're trying to break the habit.
Oh, I had a keyboard like that when I was younger! I don't remember why I stopped using it, but it made a mighty noise when I typed. My momma was like, "Why do you type so LOUD‽" Just my keyboard combined with how fast I type~ Most of the letters on the keyboard I have now have faded. I need pretty keyboard stickers. The other one never faded. I don't even have no idea how old that thing was. It wasn't always mine, see. I'd had it since as early as I could remember. We didn't get rid of it, either. It's a spare keyboard now.
I type with two fingers and go so fast I get stares when I type in public.

My grandmother believed in technology and she knew that computers would be the future so she made sure we had some of the first home computers. I can remember having a computer at the age of five. Mom would make us do typing tutor programs on the computer, something like an hour a day to make sure we had the basic fundamental skills down. When I hit fifth grade they had us go to a computer lab for an hour a day to learn typing skills as well. It wasn't until I was in the eighth or ninth grade that my typing skills hit that "mad dope" level. Thanks to AOL's instant messaging and chat rooms I could type super quick. 120-140 words a minute quick.
Now I my typing is a bit slower because it doesn't have to be that fast anymore and my eyes very rarely look down at the keys while typing. Dad is in love with my mad skills since I can look at him and type at the same time, making very little mistakes. Ten key skills are pretty sharp too.
Doesn't it sound just awesome when the keyboard has the right sounding keys and your fingers fly over them. Makes you sound super busy when you really aren't.
Not sure why my stomach is choosing today to be a pain, but it is. And now there is a headache forming behind my right eye. No bueno. Must be the overcast skies and the damn barometric pressure causing the headache.

i don't know. My fingernails aren't long enough to click on anything. and I guess i kind of use more the pad of my finger than the tip.
I do like the click of certain keyboards better than others though. and the feel, and the layout. some just feel so.. bad.

Ergo keyboards are my most favorite for sure, followed by the standard keyboard and then my laptop keyboard.
Damn contacts are giving me shit again. Might be time to take them out and clean them. To soon to change them for a new pair. Contacts don't grow on trees or anything.
Kind of want to get some colored contacts...if I get the grey ones they make my eyes super creepy looking, in a walking dead kind of way.

I have honestly never had that happen!! Maybe I just don't play enough for it to happen? I have had the game crash though before I could save it :3

yup. 10 day trial is great . i'd suggest downloading the game completely before starting the trial though :P

LOL Omg. Seriously? That sounds AMAZING! I would love to see that happen lol Messing with Death reminds me of the Deathly Hallows of Harry Potter - and he looks similar too
For sure! How big is the game download? Fairly large? Debating whether to download it on my 2 in 1 or my desktop - I'm thinking it might take up a lot of space on my 2 in 1 though.. but I can't play it on my desktop until I get a computer chair....

I know the sound you speak of! I don't necessarily like the sound, but it's definitely interesting to hear it on the phone especially on the touch screen - especially because I type so fast on both the keyboard and the phone, the clickity-clack is pretty loud and fast and makes people stop and stare a little more than usual xD; It's not as loud without nails so I don't get as many stares! Though people still stare when I'm at a public computer because I can be reading out of a book or article and not look at what I'm typing and have a perfect paragraph completed.. people get entranced by the strangest things I swear lol

well .. seeing as the gamer i watched didn't DO much. . . xD i think you can treat them like any normal member of your household? you can even change up their clothes a little bit. though it looks REALLY weird. cause obviously he's not meant to be controlled, but via built in cheats you can.
i also don't have sims 4. so i don't know all the ins and outs of it. But it was a pretty cool cheat.
Grey contacts sounds creepy Queenie. xD I'd want green or purple :3

If I can justify it to myself in a few months, I will get colored contacts. First though, it would be new glasses for the husband. He has had the same frames for the last four years or so. His prescription never changes, so unfair. Every year I ask him if he wants new ones and every year he says no...this year he said yes. Now to get him into the eye doctor for an exam and some new frames.

Well dang! They weren't much help after doing the cheat were they LOL!
Well now when I get my computer chair back so I can use my desktop (brother currently has it while he transitions housing - he decided to move lol) - my mom already took my good chair because her's broke and I had a second one, but the second one is broke but usable and my brother confiscated that while he's been home (college got out in May) - but now he's decided to move so I don't get my chair back as planned since he'll be home permanently until the new apartment is ready LOL I swear, I'm chopped liver in this family!

Sims 4 is awesome for that for sure! It's so much fun but I literally spend hours creating my sims, and then days creating housing. It's a time suck with all the options and liberties, but I love it

Lol! Of course the year you want to get colored contacts he says yes right? Hopefully you'll still have enough to do both! :D
4 years with the same glasses has gotta be rough though - you'd think they'd be loose or stripped by now! I try to change glasses every 2-3 years if I can - my Mom doesn't like to get new glasses either and I watch her messing with loose screws all the time until she finally says F it and gets a new pair after like, 6 years lol I don't have the patience to deal with tightening screws! Did it for 1 pair of glasses when money was tight and I said never again :3

For sure! Especially when it doesn't give you a runny nose and you're just stuffed up full of pressure. I'd take regular migraines over sinus headaches any day! Although, watching a seriously sad anime does make your nose run, so there's always that. I just got done watching an anime called Anohana - SUCH a beautiful story, but so maddeningly sad. The first 8 or 9 episodes aren't too bad, but episode 11... I just.. I cried the entire freaking time and for a good 10 minutes after.

But yeah being stuffed up with no way to drain is very frustrating. Do you like spicy things at all? That helps too.

I'm a total crybaby - I cry from manga, books, anime, movies, tv shows - you name it! I'm a total crier if it gets sad lol
Right now I'm making myself feel better with the anime Flying Witch. It kind of has a Kiki's Delivery Service vibe to it - basically a modern-day take set in Japan! Really good so far - although the main character seriously reminds me of the main character in Anohana, which makes it sting a bit at the moment lol
Definitely!! I've hit migraine status at this point - but I got a little relief from crying, which I guess is a plus lol If it would stop raining and then being sunny and then raining again I'd be alright!
I doooo
I had homemade Chicken soup for dinner though - I need to go shopping soon and stock up on my spices and stuff - I'm out of everything from onions and peppers to garlic salt and hot pepper flakes! It's been a tight month
But I agree - spicy food usually makes me sneeze a lot and lessens the pressure! So good for a sinus headache
...... now I'm craving chicken wings... and seasoned fries.... and a garlic salt onion burger.....
If I knew how to make curry I'd be craving that! I really want to learn but haven't had a chance. Although, a manga I read that's now getting an anime called Sweetness & Lightening has a recipe every chapter and I think one was curry!! I'm thinking of having fun with the recipes and making them in honor of the anime each week - so maybe this will give me a reason to attempt curry! :D
---------- Post added 06-22-2016 at 06:36 PM ----------
Oh - and if you couldn't tell I'm a total anime/manga lover xD;
