Contessa smiled and nodded. "I've danced with my cousins before." she answered simply. "I haven't danced in a long time though, but I think I can dance pretty well." she added quietly. "What about you? I can teach you if you'd like, it's not that hard really." she said honestly. She was going to be so nervous on their wedding day and it was probably going to be very obvious but she knew they'd get though it one step at a time.

Daylen just folded his arms over his chest lightly as he listened to her. "I haven't danced with anyone since I was six years of age. Sirus always made me practice with him." He told her truthfully, he still could remember the steps though. He had a photographic memory, which always came in handy. He just looked at the floor shyly. "We could practice if you want, I'd probably make a fool of myself anyways. I don't do good with a large amount of people watching me." He said softly, he wasn't really good with large amount of people.

Contessa just smiled and hugged herself as she listened to Daylen speak about his history with dancing. "I understand. Don't focus on them, just focus on me." she said sweetly. "I'm sorry, that sounded rude. I didn't mean it like though." she assured when she realized the way her request sounded. Usually it helped to block out anything or anyone that made you nervous. "I'm sure you'll do fine Daylen. I'm worried I'll be the one to make a fool of myself."Contessa admitted nervously. Sometimes if blocking out didn't help, Contessa usually just talked to herself and that usually helped pass the time quickly though she guessed that would probably be annoying to deal with.

Daylen just shook his head lightly. "Not at all. You will probably make me more nervous." He said softly. "Being stared at by a lot of people I don't know and being so close to a beautiful woman. Having to have the first dance with my wife will be nerve wrecking." He already knew it would be, then the wedding night. Daylen just looked at the floor, his face just faded into a barely noticeable pink from a blush. He just openning admitted he found her beautiful. He was just waiting for her to respond to that. He hoped it wasn't a negative reaction.

Contessa was about to ask how would she make him more nervous but gasped at what he had just said. She called her beautiful! He thinks I'm beautiful?! she thought to herself and covered her mouth with her hands in shock. "You...You think I'm beautiful?" she repeated and smiled happily as a bright red blush spread across her cheeks. "No one ever called me beautiful before..." she whispered and nervously looked down at her feet. She couldn't see why he found her beautiful, there were other girls a lot prettier than her.

Daylen just never looked up at Contessa. He just listened to her. He didn't see why, her personality just seemed to amplify her beauty to him; well from what he knew of her personality. "I don't see how anyone could think otherwise, you're a very lovely woman from what I got to know so far." He said shyly. "I'm actually honored to be your future husband. I just hope I can treat you as well as you deserved to be." He meant every word. He hoped that he could be a good husband to her, he really wanted his marriage to work. He was afraid it would turn out like so many other arranged marriage. He wanted love like his parents had.

Contessa fiddled with her fingers shyly as she listened to Daylen, feeling the blush on her cheeks get brighter with everything he said. He was so sweet, despite always looking so serious. "Thank-you Daylen, I can tell you really mean that and it means a lot to me to hear you say that." She whispered and smiled, nodding her head to reassure him. "You are the sweetest man I have ever met Daylen. I am always worrying about if I'll be a good enough wife for you." she confessed. "I always worry that I'll do something to upset you, and I really don't want to upset you. I want you to be happy and I will try all I can to make sure that you are." she explained softly as she continued to stare at the floor, not daring to peak up at him.

A soft smile came to Daylen's face. It seemed that both of them had the same goal for the marriage. To make each other happy and try to be the spouse they felt the other deserved; without having to change themselves. Well at Least the last part was with him. "You don't have to worry about upsetting me. I am not so easy too. Sirus just knows how to press my buttons. He is my brother after all, what sibling doesn't." He actually said jokingly but it was true. Sirus always pushed his buttons just because he could. "I rather you be comfortable and yourself around me. That's all I really want. That will make me happy." He told her softly, finally finding the courage to look at her. Granted his face looked as plain of emotions as ever.

Listening to him speak, a soft chuckle escaped her lips when she mentioned that only Sirus could upset him. "Yes, he does seem to upset you quite a bit." Contessa agreed and peaked up at him to see that he was looking back at her, a blank expression on his face. She smiled up at him, blushing as she did and nodded. "I will keep that in mind." she said softly. She had always been herself, but she feared that she would probably annoy him and today she learned that she was wrong. Besides, if she did annoy him he would tell her right? "As long as you're happy, I'm happy." Contessa commented and looked at him. "Would you like to practice dancing? or would you prefer we do something else?" she asked.

Daylen's soft smile came to his face as he listened to her. "I'll let it be up to you. I can take you to the kitchen, make myself scared so you can do what you want. We could practice dancing so we both don't look like fools. Though I wouldn't mind looking like fool if you were with me." He says the last part softly. After that little conversation they just had, it didn't seem like it was a bad thing. He just hope it didn't change later after the marriage. He still wasn't good at judging people. Most people wore mask until they got what they wanted. Luckily they forgot about him quickly after they met Sirus.

"Well we still have music to look through for the wedding but I think we should practice dancing for a bit. Then you can do as you wish while I work on your surprise. Once that's done, we can take a break and look at more music for the wedding after all that is done. If we have some time left over, I'd love to help you out in your study with the watering system you're working on." she explained and laughed softly. "We can look like fools together Daylen." she agreed with a nod of her head, today was going to be a very busy day.

A light laugh came from Daylen as she said the last part. "Okay, we can practice. But I warn you, I'm rusty." He said walking a few feet closer to her. He held out his hand for her to grab. He was rusty when it can to dancing but it was very easy to do with a photograph memory. He might make a mistake or two but he would get the hang of it. At least his partner wasn't Sirus this time. The times he had practicing with his twin would have him cracking up with laughter, well before he had to learn close himself off. His brother love to be silly even when he was very young.

Contessa smiled and shook her head. "You'll do fine. I'm a little rusty too but I think we can do it. Mistakes might happen but that's normal." she said and grabbed his hand. "As long as we memorize the pattern, we'll be fine." she said reassuringly. Contessa knew he was probably nervous about messing up and maybe stepping on her toes, but she didn't mind. They would learn together. If her mother was here right now, she would probably be coaching them, or taking photos. So Contessa was happy that they were alone so that nothing could distract them from the task at hand.

Daylen just adjusted his hand she had taken gently. He was remembering how it was suppose to look and corrected the posture. He turned his attention back from their hands. He weakly smiled as he placed his other hand in its position. He was mentally calculating as he prepared himself. Number and patterns, he could easily do things he had forgotten with simple numerical pattern. "Sorry, I'm playing the numerical rhythm in my head." He told her hoping she would understand it was more of calculation to him then dancing. Basically everything was.

Contessa smiled as she gently placed her hand on his shoulder and nodded. "That's perfect Daylen, that always helps." she replied and started counting the numerical pattern in her head as she prepared herself. "Okay, I think we're both ready. It goes one, two, three, four." she explained and looked at him. "Makes sense right?" she asked him and hoped that they were both thinking about thee same pattern, though she was always open to learning new ones.

He knew that. It was simple pattern. Once Contessa had her position down. Daylen slowly started to lead. It was wasn't hard, he was keeping an eye out from time to time making sure he didn't step on her feet. Otherwise he was looking at her or around the room. "I don't dip though. Last time I dance was with Sirus. He likes to make faces when you lead." He told her softly smiling. Last time Sirus made him dip him. He made the most hilarious face which cause Daylen to drop him. Sirus didn't get hurt or anything but was pouting afterwards.

Contessa laughed softly as she easily followed along. "It's okay, dips make me dizzy and I end up falling all the time." she commented. In her mind, she continued to repeat the numerical pattern as a mantra to guide her, occasionally glancing down at their feet to make sure all was going well. "Why would he make faces though? Is he trying to get you to mess up?" she asked curiously as she wondered why Sirus would be silly even then.It shouldn't surprise her though, Sirus made everything silly, even the most serious of things she was sure.

Daylen just shifted the direction slightly as they contained to practice dancing. "I'm not sure. He has just alway been like that." He thought back trying to remember if Sirus was ever serious at a point in life. He couldn't find any. "He made me drop him once. I had dipped him as he requested and he made kissing faces at me. Mimic a girl's voice as he did." He never understood his twin brother actually, he didn't think he ever would. "It was his idea to grow our hair out after our father die. My father love long hair on females. Why he would suggest us males grow it out was beyond me." He spoke softly, he was just trying to make conversation to help them relax as they danced to the music.

Contessa smiled and shrugged her shoulders slightly. "Perhaps your father thought it would look nice on you both to have long hair?" she suggested. She liked his long hair, it looked nice on both Daylen and Sirus. "I think Sirus just likes to joke around a lot. Maybe he likes messing with you at any chance he gets." she explained as they continued to practice easily. "See? I told you you'd be fine. You don't seem rusty at all." she noted as they continued. Talking with his was very nice, it helped keep the nerves away.

Daylen wouldn't argue with that, Sirus did have fun springing random pranks and jokes on him. He wasn't sure if that's why Sirus wanted to grow out their hair, didn't sound like him. They just made a pact to grow out their hair after their father had died. If there was a reason behind it, he didn't know. His soft smile came to his face. "It must be because of my partner is good at helping me remember the steps." He said softly. Talking was actually helping him relax as they danced. "At least we won't make fools of ourselves, but then again it's just us in the room at the moment." He said the last part quietly. Would they be relaxed with a room full of people staring at them.

Contessa was glad to see that Daylen wasn't nervous, he looked pretty relaxed. "Well thank you kindly, I'm always happy to help out." she replied and continued to repeat the number pattern in her head as they danced alone in the lovely music filled room. "Well yes we may be alone right now, but even when we're not I know we'll do just fine as we are now. All we have to do is focus on the pattern in mind and not worry about anyone else." Contessa said reassuringly. "I'll make sure we do fine." she added quietly, a smile on her face. She was still nervous about dancing in front of so many people but she had a feeling that they would do fine. If they looked silly, they would look silly together and she had no problem with it.

Daylen came to a stop as the music did. He hoped so, he didn't mind looking like a fool with Contessa but he hoped mostly for her sake. Sirus would never let them live it down. He also hoped that Sirus didn't do anything to add to the scene. "Let's hope that Sirus behaves himself as well. It won't you you he targets. Last thing I need is something embarrassing on me, or lack of things." He slowly let go of her waist and bowed gently like he was taught to after dance. Softly he let go of her hand before going to take off the album. He slid it into the cover before turning to her. "Perhaps we should have this album at the wedding. After all it is our first one we danced to together." He smile smiling sweetly.

Contessa stopped once the music did and smiled, nodding. "I'm sure that Sirus will behave. He should anyway, It's a very important day and I don't think anyone wants to mess it up." she replied softly, curtsying once he had let go of her. "Oh yes of course!" she gasped and clasped her hands together. "This is going to be our song that we dance to, it will be perfect!" she commented and clapped her hands excitedly. "Oh it's going to be wonderful, everyone is going to be so happy, and I'm going to most likely be a crying mess and it's going to be perfect!" she chimed.

Daylen wasn't so sure that Sirus would, probably would play a prank at the reception or when he was getting ready for the aisle. Sirus never behaved himself. She would find out soon once they were married. Without meaning to it seems that Daylen had found their song, well the one that they would dance to. He walked over and set the album onto the coffee table between the two couches. He then turned to Contessa. "Should I lead you to the kitchen or would you like to rest first?" He asked her softly, he didn't mind if she wanted to rest. They did dance for a while.

Contessa wasn't so sure herself, Sirus always loved pulling pranks. Not on her but on Daylen, and then she remembered the piece of cake that exploded in Daylen's face. Was he going to make their cake explode? She hoped not. Maybe she would do something while they danced? She couldn't really think of anything he could do, but Sirus was capable of anything really. "Let's hope he behaves." she said finally after a long silence. "I think we both deserve to rest actually, you must be quite tired yourself." she answered truthfully.
