Daylen just smiled softly at her words. He was always tired, he rarely slept as it was. These dreams came frequently, thats why he always had allot of sugar in his coffee. However it barely did the trick anymore. "To tell you the truth I'm always tired. I can't sleep a lot of nights. Mostly the visions that Sirus told you about are the reason. I keep having the same one these last few nights." She would find out that secret sooner or later, best tell her now like his brother said. Help get her use to it somewhat before she shared a bed with him.

Contessa frowned, "What is it you see exactly?" she asked and led him to the couch to sit down. "Tell me exactly what you see. Sometimes talking about it will help. I can also make you a cup of warm milk to help you relax if you need it." she said warmly. She was clearly concerned and only wanted to help, it wasn't good to miss out on sleep. Though she was happy that he was talking to her about it but she wanted to know exactly what it was that he was dealing with. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to Daylen." she added softly since she didn't want to force him to talk about anything he didn't want to talk about.

Daylen just lightly sighed. "No if you're going to be sharing a bed with me. I should open up and tell you. It won't stop the the first reaction towards it but it will help you understand better when I jolt awake from time to time." He told her softly as he just sat down on the couch. He just leaned forward resting his elbows on his knees. With his right hand Daylen just rubbed his forehead as he closed his eyes in thought. "It's not a full scene. All I seen where petals from flowers, white petals stained with splatters of blood. I hear screams and women. I feel cold, draining in energy. I'm holding my stomach. When I move my hand, it's completely covered in my own blood. My cousin is in front of me, pure shock on his face. Then I wake up." Daylen simply told her. "It's been puzzling me. I get these pieced ones when there is nothing I can do to stop them from happening. Whoever it is, is meant to die." He said softly letting his right hand fall from his forehead.

Contessa frowned as she listened, fear running through her body as he explained the short vision he kept having. In her head, she tried her best to picture it and gently held his right hand as she tried to make sense of what she had just heard. "White flower petals..." she whispered and thought for a bit about what that could mean. "The garden where the wedding venue will take place has flowers of all colors, so maybe this happens there? Maybe your cousin is going to show up and hurt you?!" she gasped. "Oh dear, that can't be right...no.." she said to herself as she tried to think of a logical explanation for his vision. "How long have you had this vision?" Contessa asked and shook her head. "Don't say that...no one is going to die." she spoke calmly.

Daylen just shook his head lightly. "It's inside of a building. There is sun coming from a stained glass window. There is a carpet. When I fall to the floor, I feel it." He said softly before looking at her. "No, the person will die. There is nothing we can do. Until the event happens, I will be forced to watch it every night." He told her plainly. He looked at the expensive carpeting in front of them on the floor. "Three nights in a row. Its close to coming true. The closer the day is, the stronger the pain I feel." He placed his free hand over the imaginary wound on his stomach. He had a feeling his cousin was involved but wasn't totally convinced that he could do something so evil.

Her eyes went wide at the extra information, she suddenly felt sick. "The church...our wedding day..." she whispered and watched Daylen closely, he looked shaken. Did visions come to him all the time? It didn't seem very fair that he was suffering like this. Does this mean Daylen is going to die on or wedding day? No...it can't be. That can't be what it means. Contessa thought to herself. All the pieces of information he was giving pointed to the church though, and if he was hurt and the hurt person had to die then it meant that Daylen was going to die. It didn't make sense though, they were going to get married, would his cousin really want to kill Daylen though? Sure they didn't like him but she didn't think he'd be capable of killing a family member.

Daylen just looked at Contessa. He had a feeling it was on or close to the wedding day but she just confirmed his suspicion. The church... He turned his head once more to look at the carpet. "Whoever the target is, its obvious it isn't the one that's meant to die. The look of shock tells me that. It's almost instantly regretful." He told her softly. It probably wouldn't make her feel better after telling her his vision. Daylen just told her because deep down he agreed with Sirus. It was better to let her know ahead of time, let her somewhat get the feel of his powers. Two of his natural powers were frightening, only one could bring happiness but it was only temporary.

Contessa didn't want to think about this, but it was already in her head and she already knew that something bad would happen on her wedding day. How many days did that have until their wedding day? Frowning, she looked down at the carpet wondering if she should tell her parents about this or if it was better to just keep it to herself. Even if she didn't want to talk about it, this was going to be part of her life now and she had to get used to it. "So if you're not supposed to die...then who is?" she whispered to herself as she tried to come up with the answer.

Daylen just lightly shrugged, her guess was as good as his. "I hope this didn't get you depressed. I just felt I should tell you. You would discover this curse when we got married. I don't want you to be frightened from it or me." He said the last part quietly. His mother and brother lived knowing about his visions, it still frightened them at times. He hoped he didn't make the wedding a depressing thing for her to look forward to. She had seemed so happy about it but then he shared this power with her. Deep down he knew he needed to warn her about the impending doom as well as everyone else. He just didn't want to take away from their happiness.

"I'm not depressed, just worried is all."Contessa replied as she smoothed out her dress and offered Daylen a reassuring smile. "I'm not frightened either Daylen. Besides, I'm not going anywhere." she answered and brushed some hair away from her face, tucking it behind her ear. Despite all this, she still wanted to get married even if it meant someone had to die in order for it to happen. She didn't want anyone to die, but if there was nothing that could be done about it then she was just going to have to accept it. She was sure that the elders were not going to postpone the wedding.

He softly smiled at Contessa. Daylen was glad that she said she wasn't afraid of him or that it didn't depressed her. He just hoped she was being truthful. He just stood up and held out his hand to help her up. "Shall we take our minds off such a depressing topic and continue with the day?" He asked her softly, it would be better if they did. At least he felt that way. He would just lead her to the kitchen and then head back to his study to work on the triggers and timers. It was still pretty early in the morning so it would effect much the time spent alone.

Contessa looked up when he spoke and smiled. "Ah yes, I think we shall." she said and took his hand. "What are you going to do?" she asked curiously. "Do you need help with anything?" she asked since she was happy to help him in whatever he needed. If not, she could always work on his surprise, hopefully she did a good job since she never baked alone. Contessa usually baked with her mom, but she was confident in herself to do a good enough job for Daylen and hopefully be able to cheer him up.

Daylen just gently lead her by the hand out of the room and down the hall. "Probably just work in my study. After the timers and switches are done. Its just fitting them to pipes and making sure its all working correctly." It really wasn't hard to do, it was just time consuming like allot of things he did. "I would ask you but I know it's a surprise." He simply said smiling softly. He was glad to get off the topic of his visions. He hated describing them, felt like he was reliving them while being awake. Daylen just stopped in front of the kitchen. "Do you want me to show you around or would you like to explore it? It's every easy in the layout and cabinet wise." He told her sweetly. He made it was simple as he could.

"You don't want me to help you?" she asked and followed him out of the room and down the quiet hall. Were they really alone? She had expected Sirus to show up by now. When they reached the kitchen she smiled at him. "I think I'll be okay Daylen, thank-you. I promise this shouldn't take too long. I'll bring the surprise to you when it's finished...or maybe I'll just bring you to the surprise instead." Contessa informed softly and grinned up at him. It was always nice getting to know him, and since he loved sweets she guessed that cupcakes would definitely cheer him up after talking about a pretty depressing topic.

Daylen just shook his head softly. It wasn't that he didn't want her to help him. Daylen was just trying to get the watering system together for her. "It's not that, I could work on something else." It wasn't a big deal to him. He could work on one of his blueprints. Maybe even the shelf for her solarium. Actually he would do that instead. He just smiled lightly at her. "Okay. Oh, don't worry if you make a mess. My maid gets mad if I don't." He said softly, she always got mad if there was no mess. Granted it made it her job easier but she didn't like getting paid for nothing.

Contessa smiled and nodded, "I'll keep that in mind Daylen." she said, finding it funny that his maid would get mad if there was no mess to clean up. "I would ask what exactly you're going to work on but I think it's only fair that it be a surprise. Seeing as how I'm going to surprise you. I hope I do anyway." she commented softly. "I hope you like your surprise Daylen, and I will see you in a few minutes." she said, clapping her hands excitedly.

Daylen just smiled softly. She was right, she would just have to see what he would be working on. Granted it would take more than a few minutes to complete. "I'm sure I will. Have fun." He simply told her before leaving for his study. It was only a few doors down from the kitchen, easy to find. Once he was in his study. Daylen sat at his desk. He took out a fresh piece of paper and began the lays of the shelving for the solarium. He had taken a book out with the manor's blueprints to see the old layout of the burnt down part of the solarium. Perhaps he would just restore it back to it's original stated, however he felt he should add small details for Contessa. Making it more personal for her.

Contessa grinned and quickly grabbed a large bowl for the batter, a whisk, some cupcake pans, measuring spoons, and paper cups which she started placing in each hole of the pans as the oven preheated. When she was done she grabbed a few eggs, and three small boxes of cake mix. This might take longer than she thought. She grabbed two more large bowls and other things she would need. Soon she was surrounded by kitchen utensils. She worked on each cake mix on separate bowls, making sure they were perfect and even added some vanilla flavoring to the white cupcake mix before poring each batter into the according pans carefully. When she had finished that, the bowls and whisk were put in the sink to be washed later. "Alright, into the oven you all go." she said to herself and carefully placed the three cupcake pans into the oven then worked on getting the three different types of frosting she needed. "Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla." she muttered as she grabbed each container and placed them on a counter along with a spreading knife. Occasionally she would rotate the pans so that none would burn, smiling as the sent filled the room. She was pretty sure that Daylen could probably smell it too.

Unfortunately Daylen couldn't smell anything over the burning metals. He have finished the idea he had fro Contessa's shelves in the solarium. Afterwards he went to work on a print he had created years ago. He had pull his hair back into a low ponytail. He was wearing dark goggles as sparks flew up from a metal plate. He was melting the metal plate in place with a long strip of metal. He was forming the melted metal flowers as he went. He was planning to merge both the shelving for Contessa and this device together. From time to time he used his engraving tools to smooth and touch the flowers up as the metal cooled. When one strip of metal was completely done, he replaced it with another one. Repeating the process as he went.

Contessa hummed softly as she waited for the cupcakes to be ready. "They should be done now.." she whispered to herself and took a toothpick, poking each cupcake in the center and pulling it out. "All clean." she said with a grin and shut off the stove, putting on some mitts to take out the hot pans and setting them on top of the stove. "Now I just let them cool before I add the frosting." she said to herself and wondered what Daylen was working on. She really wanted to watch but didn't want to ruin the surprise for herself. When the cupcakes were cooled down, she grabbed the strawberry frosting and started spreading it neatly on all the vanilla cupcakes. The chocolate frosting was for the strawberry cupcakes and the vanilla frosting was for the chocolate cupcakes. "I hope he likes them." she said and was surprised at how many she mad. "Thirty-Six. That should be enough I think." she said to herself and laughed softly.

Fitting the metal plate onto a small wooden piece. Daylen secured it with small screws and glue. He sanded the extra glue off the sides of the wooden and metal. He was making the covers for the crates that would be placed on a sliding shelf for Contessa's solarium. The middle two would have these metal plates why the two on the outside would have wood furnish images of the same flowers. Slowly he started on the second. The melting metal began to filled the air once more. He wiped his tool off on a towel nearby as he shaped the melted metal once more. He was eyeing the picture from time to time making sure they both were perfect. The first was actually very accerate to the image from the book, now he just needed this one to turn out that same.

Humming was the only sound in the kitchen at the moment as Contessa finished up spreading the frosting on the cupcakes. The spreading knife was placed in the sink and the frosting containers were closed and put back where she had found them. Her eyes inspected each cupcake closely, making sure that they were all perfect. Would he like sprinkles? Quickly, she looked around for some sprinkles that would look nice on the cupcakes. "Hmm...maybe that would be too sweet?" Contessa asked herself and shook her head since Daylen would love that anyway. She reached out and grabbed a container which had a varied selection of sprinkles. She decided to go with yellow sprinkles on all of them just to make them stand out a bit. "Perfect." she whispered to herself and then put away the sprinkles container. Making sure all the messy dishes were in the sink, Contessa walked over to his study and just knocked on the door a few times. "Daylen, your surprise is ready!" she called out happily.

A loud explosion echoed out from Daylen's study, even not here Sirus had pranked him. He coughed harshly as black smoke filled the room. He had to open the windows to air the room. From head to toe Daylen was covered in a thick layer of black dust. He was coughing roughly from the explosion. He lifted his goggles so he could see, leaving an imprint from them. "Dang-it Sirus!" He yelled out as he coughed some more. His study was layered in the stuff. Sirus had replaced one of the metal strips with a prank bomb strip. Daylen just waved his right hand in front of himself, trying to rid the floating dust out of his face. He was going to hurt his brother for this. He had completely missed Contessa's voice on the other side of the door because of this prank.

Contessa heard a loud explosion and let out a slight scream before knocking again. "Daylen? Dayen is everything okay?" she asked, sounding worried. She wanted to see if he was okay, but she didn't want to interrupt either. What had happened? Did something go wrong with whatever it was that he was making? Was Sirus in there pulling a prank? No, if that were the case she would have heard his laugh and he would be after the cupcakes right now. Quickly she ran to the kitchen to check but no one was there of course so she rushed back to the study and waited for Daylen.

Daylen opened the door to his study. He froze seeing Contessa standing out there. He was completely covered in thick black dust, all except were his goggles were. "Sirus had set up a prank for today." He simply told her. He was embarrassing, even after he had tried the get as much of it off before leaving his study. He was still pretty dirty. He turned away from her as he coughed deeply, covering his mouth as he did. He had inhaled some of the smoke and it was irritating his lungs. "Excuse me, the smoke is irritating my lungs right now." He told her softly, he had a feeling he look completely stupid cover in that dust.
