"I know he meant no harm, but I think I have a right to know what's going to happen on the wedding I've been forced into." she muttered and sighed. "I don't want to bother him so I'll probably visit tomorrow..." Contessa added sadly. Great, so now on top of loosing Sirus, she had to also deal with having the elders in the room watching like real pervs. Her parents weren't going to be happy about it, but they weren't going to be able to do anything about. I'll just have to pretend that they're not there. she thought to herself as she let her hair down and ran her fingers through it.

"Forced into?" Sirus just made a sad face. "You still feel like it's that bad?" He asked her sadly. Sirus just conjured a quill and parchment. He leaned over the table and scribbled some words onto the parchment. Setting down the quill, he turned to Contessa and placed the piece of parchment onto her forehead. "Ad futurum respicere." Sirus whispered to the parchment. It glowed brightly before flooding her mind with the vision of the future.
Two child small toddlers stomped as they ran from their father. Their small undenied laughter filling the music room as he chased them around. The smiled on his face was genuine, pure happiness only a father would know. "Daylen, I thought you were putting down for a nap?" A feminine voice called out into the room. "I was but they did not want to sleep my love." He replied softly to his wife. The look of love filling his face as he saw Contessa.
Sirus removed the parchment from her forehead before ripping it up. "I saw the same future you just did... back when I first heard of your engagement." He weakly smiled to her. "Now I don't know about you Miss Contessa but that didn't look like it was forced to me." He told her softly. That vision alone was why he tried his hardest to help them out every chance he got.

"Yes forced into. We were both forced into this marriage, and if I remember correctly Daylen really didn't want to have anything to do with me." Contessa reminded sadly. "I just hope that when we do get married, that I can make him happy...that's what worries me the most, that I won't be what he wants in a wife." she admitted. Contessa raised an eyebrow as she watched him write something on some parchment paper. "What are you writing down?" she asked curiously. Before she had a chance to do anything, the paper was placed against her forehead and she saw what she hoped would come true someday.
Contessa frowned and played with her hair sadly. "I just hope it actually comes true Sirus. I mean, I worry I don't make Daylen happy...I hope I can make him happy someday." she said quietly. "Contessa, Sirus, you're back early." Edward said as walked down the stairs. "I thought you'd be spending more time with Daylen?" he commented. "No dad, I think he's busy with important things and I don't want to bother him. I just went to try on my dress and now I'm here." Contessa answered softly before looking at Sirus. "I guess I'll see you both tomorrow right?" she asked and smiled.

Sirus just frowned lightly. "I may not be as strong as my baby brother but I can cast simple vision spells. Everything you saw will come to past." He assured her sadly. He wouldn't be able to see or play with the children they would have. Sirus just ignored her father as he looked at her. He was completely saddened by her words. "My brother believes he is being punished for everything, he didn't want to marry you; yes. Yet not for the reason you think." He conjured up Daylen's journal once more. He opened the page he wanted he conjured a copy the part he wanted her to read and handed it to her before vanishing from sight.
It small paragraph had little blurred circles from where old tears had fallen. No matter how many times Sirus and mother say that it wasn't my fault, I can't help but feel it is. 'Monster, murderer.' Just a few names my family calls me by, the ones that hurt the most. 'Why couldn't it have been you?' My grandmother's words at the funeral consistently echo within my head every night. They're right. A monster like me should never have anyone near them. As of tomorrow I will just lock myself away, then maybe everyone can be safe from the monster. Solitude and loneliness will be my punishment until I die. It was in Daylen's handwriting. Sirus had given her this paragraph to let her know a small bit of why he was the way he was. There were harsher entries later on about himself but he would spare her those.

Contessa sighed once she finished reading it and folded it up neatly before grabbing the boxes. "Is something wrong?" her father asked. "The elders are going to watch Daylen and I on our wedding night and there's nothing to be done about it. Daylen didn't want to tell me, he want to protect me from it all but I can't help but be a little upset that he didn't tell me. I found out because the seamstress mentioned it." she explained. Her father frowned and watched as she walked right past him to her room before he could even say anything. Normally he would go up to her room and talk to her, but he decided it was best to give her some space and left to his room where he told his wife everything.
Contessa placed the boxes on the bed and opened the one from Markus, smiling slightly at the dress. She decided to get dressed for bed and then left to wash the clothes Daylen had let her borrow. While she did the laundry, she looked over the depressing paragraph that Sirus had left for her to read. She knew Daylen blamed himself for what happened, no matter how many times she or anyone else told him otherwise he would not believe them. Reading this was like getting stabbed with a fork, not too painful, but painful nonetheless. "Oh Daylen..." she said softly and folded up the paper, placing it in her nightgown pocket and tossed the clean but wet laundry into the dryer, growing sleepier every minute.

The sound of cursing fill the study's hidden vault. Daylen had been trying everything he could to create the one potion he believe to save his brother. Another failure. He slammed his fists in down on the desk near his grimoire so hard his hands began to bleed. His body sparked from the anger filling inside of him. He supposed to be a prodigy yet one potion he couldn't create, a potion made from alchemy and sorcery. The one thing he was a master of before anyone else. The only one that was able to do a mixture of them. Slowly he fell to his knees. His blood running down his forearms. He banged his head on the desk in frustration. Why was he still being punished over an accident he committed nearly two decades ago. He closed his pale eyes when he felt the stinging from the built up tears. Solitude and loneliness wasn't just the punish he had placed on himself, but also what the universe had placed on him as well. He gritted his teeth as the tears started to fall. He really was a monster. He couldn't even save the people that mattered to him. That he loved most of all.

Contessa had started to doze off when the dryer stopped. Yawning softly, she took out the laundry and neatly folded it before taking it back to her room where she hung up her dresses and placed Daylen's clothes on her vanity table, neatly folded. Her eyes fell upon the dress from Markus and she pulled it out of the box, holding it out in front of her to admire it better. It looked like it would fit perfectly. Part of her wanted to try it on but she also wanted to be surprised so she neatly folded it and placed it back in its box before grabbing the boxes and putting them away in her closet then crawled into bed, quickly falling to sleep.

Flames began to flicker from his body, he was slowly starting to catch on fire. Sirus was just sitting in the study outside of the vault. His heart was slowly breaking watching his twin have a melt down. However once the fire started to stir, he jumped off the desk and went into the room. It greatly burnt him in the process but he managed to take Daylen to an abandon warehouse before leaving him there to have the melt down and not hurting anyone. It was miles away, yet the heat could be still felt. He just came back to Daylen's study. He signed before taking a bottle of the tonics for burns. Daylen always kept extras just in case he accidentally hurt someone. Sirus just looked out of the window when he saw a rather bright flash followed by a intense heat wave striking shortly after. "Hm." He just drank the foul liquid, letting the burns instantly heal. He set the bottle down on the desk he was leaning on. He would have to wait til the heat died down before getting his twin. It would probably take all night.

A knock was heard at Contessa's door, crawling out of bed she opened the door and smiled tiredly when she saw her father standing there. "Good morning sweetheart. Feeling better?" he asked softly. "Much better." she answered and yawned. "Good, your mother made breakfast, I'll let you get ready." he said and ruffled her hair before heading back downstairs. Closing her door, Contessa walked over to her dresser and began to look for something to wear. She didn't feel like wearing a dress today or pants. Contessa pulled out a brown tight fitting button shrug and opened a different drawer where a few corsets lay. She had only worn them a few times around the house, never wore them outside of the house. She did plan on visiting Daylen today, but would probably change if she did since she was sure this wouldn't be approved of by him. Sighing, Contessa grabbed a cream colored button up corset with white lace trimming then looked for some bottoms to wear. A pair of dark brown vertically striped shorts with white lace trimming stood out so she grabbed them and placed it all on her bed.
"What else...?" she asked herself after closing the drawers. Checking he panties drawer, she pulled some out and some cream tights that went over the knee. closing that, she opened the drawer above that and pulled out a bra, closed the drawer and looked in her closet for some shoes, deciding on some tall dark brown lace up boots and then opened another drawer and pulled out a light brown waist belt. Closing the drawers, she quickly left to her bathroom and stepped into a hot shower which helped her relax. When she was all done, she quickly dried off and pulled on her clothes. She stared at herself as she buttoned up the buttons on the front of her corset, then buckled up the waist belt nicely. Contessa made sure to button up the three buttons on the shrug and tie up her boots after pulling on her tights before brushing her hair carefully, making sure all the knots were gone. "All done...I think." Contessa said to herself and quickly headed out to her room, grabbing Daylen's clothes and running down the stairs to get some breakfast.

Sirus just stayed up all night, he had found the little creature Daylen have gave to Contessa in the study. He just let it sleep on his lap the whole night, feeding it milk when it stirred awake. It looked around for Contessa and whimpered when it couldn't find her. The fire was burning down in the distance, it finally died out in the morning. He set the little creature in the crate and his familiar crawled up next to it. "Be good and watch him." He told the tarantula before blinking away. The field was still smoking from the fire when he arrived, the warehouse had completely burnt down. Sirus just made his way to his twin and knelt down. Daylen was sitting in the middles of the ashes. "Feel better?" He asked his twin more serious than normal. "Daylen, I know you're trying but you can't change the visions you have. You never could." He patted his twin's shoulder only to jerk his hand away. "Hot." He said waving his hand violently in the air. "You know, I am glad Saria helped you create the fabric you're wearing." Daylen just plainly looked at his twin. Sirus just nodded playfully at him. "It was very awkward when you burnt off your cloths as a child. I didn't like blinking you to your room while you were naked." Sirus just chuckled at the memories, his words just brought a very weak smile to Daylen's face.
The twins just sat in silence as the sun rose more into the sky. "Saria blabbed your secret, Miss Contessa knows about the wedding night." Sirus blurted out to break the silence. Daylen just looked at him, was he serious. Sirus just nodded at his twin. "She was panicking, you'll have to talk to her about it." Daylen just sighed and looked at the burnt ground. Ashes clung to both the males in the aftermath of the vicious fire. Mostly to Sirus since he was sweating from the heat. Sirus was finally able to touch Daylen without burning himself, though he was still hot to the touch. "Come on, let's go get cleaned up." He told his twin before blinking them back to the manor. The day was going to be extremely hot thanks to Daylen's melt down, not to mention smoke fill from the blazing fire.

"Good Morning Contessa, feeling okay?" her mother asked her as she walked into the dinning room. "Yes mum, I just needed to get some sleep and clear my head." Contessa answered softly and took her seat at the table. "You look nice sweetheart, decided to play dress up?" her father asked curiously to which Contessa smiled and nodded. "I wanted to wear something different and I was in a rush." she explained and looked at her breakfast once everyone was seated. "Are you going to visit Daylen today then?" he asked. "I'm not sure, probably. I do think he needs space though." Contessa explained. Her mother shook her head and fed some breakfast to Carolyn. "Sweetie, he's going through a lot, I think he needs you now more than ever." Grace commented softly. Contessa ate her breakfast and knew her mother was right. Daylen was going through a lot and he really needed someone. Her thoughts wandered to the vision that Sirus showed her, if it really was going to come true then it meant she was going to have two children with Daylen....and Daylen looked genuinely happy in that vision.

Sirus just stole a pair of Daylen's clothes to change into. He found it funny that now it would be harder to tell which one was which. Daylen just looked at his twin, who just mimicked him like a mirror. They were in the kitchen, Daylen had made Sirus' favorite stir-fry for breakfast, which Sirus enjoyed nearly all of. He tried to steal Daylen's bowl but his twin wouldn't let him. He looked at the crate Daylen brought in from the study. His familiar was sleeping with the little creature. "Well I think I'll go get your betrothed." He calmly stated before picking up the crate. "Let's go see your Momma." He told the little yellow eye pup. He kept his expression like Daylen. "Oh I'm going to have some fun with this today." He said before blinking to Contessa's house.
Once he appeared in the living room like always, he kept on Daylen's expression. He just looked plainly at the crate before looking around for Contessa. He found them in the dining room eating breakfast. He sighed lightly. "Good morning." He said softly, it was eerie that he sounded and acted just like his twin. Making much more harder to tell them apart. "It seems your little guy has got a new friend." He spoke softly, his face stayed emotionless like Daylen's.

Contessa looked up to see Daylen and drank some of her water before offering a small smile. "Good morning Daylen." she started and noticed he had her little pet. "Oh you brought no name." she said and wondered if Daylen was okay. He seemed okay, but it was always hard to tell how he was feeling exactly. "I cleaned your clothes, just as promised." she commented. Her parents looked over at him and hoped he was okay, though they knew he was probably feeling terrible from all that he was going through. "I apologize for not picking him up yesterday..." she started quietly and finished up her food before taking it to the sink. "Mum I'll wash the dishes once I come back home." she informed and grabbed Daylen's now cleaned clothes. "Who's no name?" her father asked curiously. "Oh he's a new pet that Daylen gave me. He's really adorable, I can't think of a name for him so I just call him no name for now. Although, I might change it to Bruce...not so sure yet though." she answered.

Sirus just watched as Contessa spoke with a straight face, it took all he had not to laugh and ruin the moment. However he couldn't help but burst out into laughter when she gathered his twin's old clothes. He was laughing so hard that he needed to set the crate down on the nearest table. "I can't believe you fell for that." He had tears in his eyes as he held his stomach from the pain. She honestly believed he was Daylen. "Oh my God, I'm dying." He said through his fit of laughter. It was too funny in his view. He tried to calm down but her reaction was priceless and it caused him to go into another fit of laughter. He was hunched over, his shoulders shook as he laughed from the prank.

Contessa raised an eyebrow and watched Daylen who turned out to be Sirus all along. "Well...well you are twins so I mean it's not my fault you look identical." she said and chuckled softly. She should have known something was up, Daylen wouldn't have come to pick her up, he'd be busy working on something. "I should have known." she started and panicked slightly. "You're dying?! Already?!" she asked, obviously worried. Her parents watched as Sirus hunched over in laughter, causing little Carolyn to laugh as well. "Sirus you really shouldn't joke about that, it's not funny you know." she reminded and frowned.

Sirus just waved his right hand playfully. "Not literally. It's a expression." He clapped his hands together over the successful prank. "Wrong choice of words I guess." He said finally being able to calm down. He placed on his boyish smiled as he looked at Contessa. "Awe, I have to have some fun before I kick it." He made a funny face as he waved his hand in a motion of chopping at his neck. He turned his attention to Carolyn. "Hi baby." He said waving his hand at her. "I want you to meet someone." He said happily to her. He just coached the tarantula from the crate onto his hand before walking over to Carolyn. "This little guy is my familiar, his name is Sprinkles." The spider just looked at Carolyn, even though you couldn't see a facial expression he was sure the spider was smiling at the baby. "Don't worry he is very friendly." He told Contessa's parents. He hope then Contessa's mother didn't freak out off the large spider in his hands.

Contessa didn't find this funny at all and shook her head, "I know, but still. It's not funny." she said and let out a soft cry when the tarantula crawled out onto Sirus' hand. Quickly, she grabbed little no name and hid behind her father, peaking over his shoulder at the spider and at Carolyn. Grace's eyes widened but Edward motioned at her to remain calm. "The spider is more afraid of us than we are of it." he explained. Carolyn laughed softly and looked at the spider in front of her. Reaching out, she gently touched it and then looked at Sirus, confused. "Are you sure it's okay for Carolyn to pet it?" Grace asked. "I'm pretty sure it's only dangerous when it feels threatened." Edward answered quietly.

Sirus just chuckled at their conversation. "Sprinkles is completely harmless. Even when threatened." He told them reassuringly. "He is more of a puppy. He loves to play hide and seek." He just picked up the spider gently by the sides with his thumb and index finger when it tried to climb onto little Carolyn. "No Sprinkles, I'm sure they're not comfortable with you just yet for you to play with her." He placed the tarantula onto his shoulder and smiled. "You want a scary familiar, you should see my brother's. It destroyed hundreds of ships, it's body count is well over the thousands." He told them talking about the hydra. "Tried to eat, more than once." Sirus had to think of how many times it tried to eat him, five he thinks. While he was thinking, Sprinkles jumped off his shoulder onto Grace's and crawled over to Carolyn. It was crawling on her gently, tickling her lightly with its legs as it did. "Oh, I think he likes her." Sirus said laughing at the scene. He had a large smile on his face as Sprinkled cuddled with her.

"Sprinkles, what an odd name for a spider." Grace noted and listened to Sirus speak of Daylen's Familiar. "She is quite lovely, just very jealous and doesn't like it when I'm close to Daylen. They wouldn't let me take a step towards him, even pulled him out of my reach they did." Contessa explained and laughed softly. "By the sound of Sirus' story, it doesn't like anyone." her father noted. Grace felt something near her ear and turned in time to see the spider crawl over to Carolyn. A scream escaped her lips as she shook from the fear and cuddled closer to her husband who just chuckled and wrapped his arms around her. "Carolyn doesn't seem frightened love." he commented and looked over at Carolyn who was laughing loudly and clapping her hands together.

Sirus just looked at Contessa. "He showed you the Hydra-griffon?" He asked Contessa curiously. He then chuckled at the thought. "Well they were the only female in his life for a long time." He just laughed at their jealousy. He just nodded. "Oh they're not friendly at all. They probably got scolded by Daylen before Contessa met them so they would behave." He smiled seeing Sprinkles play with Carolyn. Sprinkles was just moving his front legs around tickling her before crawling to a new spot to repeat the process. "See, Sprinkles is a good tarantula, and he keeps away the bugs." He added the last part with a big smile.

"W-well...as long as he doesn't hurt her, I suppose it's okay." Grace commented from her husband's arms. She still didn't want to bother him in any way, and perhaps it was best that she give him some time to spend with his brother before it was too late.

Sirus' smile faded when Contessa mentioned Daylen. He shook his head lightly. "He is far from it." He told her plainly. "Notice how hot and smokey it is today? It's from Daylen's melt down last night. He burnt the old di Pavia warehouse down to ashes and everything around it for two mile radius." He told her softly. "Neither of us slept last night. That's why I'm wearing his clothing, I just cleaned up there and came here." He then just smiled sweetly. "However I think you should be with him. Your support will be good for him. Also I have a surprise to show you today. Saria dressed up the Cathedral for your wedding." He told her happily. He wanted to see her reaction and Daylen's. Sirus just picked up the sad tarantula, who clearly pouted. "I think my familiar replaced me already." He said laughing at the spider. "If and only if, Carolyn's momma and papa say you can, can be her familiar. Ask them." He told the spider who just looked at them with bugged eyes.

"Yes I noticed, I guess it's good I'm wearing shorts." Contessa said and frowned. He was obviously upset since whenever he was angry it would get hot. He had reason to be mad, why did Sirus have to die? Why would anyone kill such a nice guy? It didn't make any sense but fate was something that could not be interfered with. "I hope I can cheer him up even a bit." she said and looked at her parents. "I see no problem with it as long as Sprinkles doesn't hurt her." Edward commented. Contessa chuckled and shook her head, "You can never be replaced Sirus, don't you worry about it." she reassured warmly. Grace easily picked up Carolyn from her baby chair and held her close in her arms. "I don't want it near me though love, I don't want it in our room." she explained. "I'll help Carolyn with it, don't worry." Edward assured.

Sirus just smiled at Contessa, he was positive she would even if he didn't show it. "Oh don't worry, he will probably find a place in Carolyn's room to build a web. He feeds himself bugs around the house." He told Carolyn's mother, he really was a good spider. "I'll miss you little buddy, take care of Carolyn." He said as he placed the tarantula down onto the couch. It just ran off to find a new place for its web. Sirus made a small pouty face seeing his familiar leave him. "Oh also." He unclipped his favorite pocket watch and set it on the table. "I won't need this, might be useful for little Carolyn later on." He playfully waved to Carolyn before blinking away with Contessa.
They appeared in Daylen's study. Sirus just rolled his eyes seeing the vault door open. He just lead Contessa to the room. It was size of a normal room. Shelves filled the room from top to bottom, all filled with ancient and exotic items. An altar rested in the middle of the room in the center was a extremely thick book. The binding was white leather engraved with ancient markings, seven glowing crystals as bright as flames rested in a elegant design in the center. Bits of black metal covered the spine and corners of the book. Daylen just closed his grimoire and looked at Sirus and Contessa plainly. Little balls of fire floated in the air, lightly the room. "You got company!" Sirus said happily to his brother.

Both Edward and Grace frowned when he was gone, they knew it was his way of saying goodbye. Picking up the pocket watch, Edward smiled sadly and handed it to Carolyn who held it in her hand and stared it intently. "Poor dear, she's really going to miss him, I know it. She may not seem like it, but I'm sure she probably knows something is wrong." Grace commented quietly as Edward picked up the dishes and began to wash them in the sink. "I know, she's going to miss her uncle greatly, but at least she'll have some good memories of him." Edward replied softly.
Contessa looked at the study, it seemed messy again but it didn't bother her. What bothered her was the small fact that Daylen was busy trying to prevent his brother's death and here she was thinking she could cheer him up. "I...I brought you your clothes back. All clean, just like I promised." she said quietly and looked over at Sirus worriedly. Perhaps it was best she go back home? She didn't know. Part of her wanted to stay and part of her just wanted to leave, but she couldn't leave now.
