Sirus just stood up laughing. He was having a blast playing with Daylen, however Daylen didn't feel the same way. He grabbed the coffee pot and dumped it out in the sink. He washed it out before placing it back on top of the stove. Daylen just gently looked at Contessa. He didn't take her offer with the meal and he didn't want to keep refusing her in fear of hurting her feelings. Softly he nodded to Contessa. "I would like that, thank you." He said softly to her. He was ignoring Sirus who was still laughing hard at his prank. Suddenly Sirus stopped laugh when his bowl caught on fire and burnt the food into ashes. "Awe, that was uncalled for." Sirus said pouting. Daylen took his bowl away from Sirus' reach as he went for it. "You're so mean." Sirus said pouting to his brother, his prank made him lose he food which sadden him. Daylen turned his attention back to Contessa. "The coffee container is on the back of the stove." He said softly to her. It would be different drinking coffee he didn't make for himself but he actually like the idea that she would be making him coffee.

Contessa smiled and stood up to work on making him his coffee. Sometimes she would make her father some coffee, but they were more of tea people. Since she was going to marry him, she was going to have to start helping him out whenever she could. "How do you like your coffee Daylen?" she asked as she looked around for the coffee container. The smell of something burning reached her nose and she quickly turned to see Sirus' food on fire. Soon only a pile of ashes sat in its place. "Oh dear." she said and smiled sadly. "Oh, thank-you." she said when Daylen explained to here the location of the coffee container. Looking behind the stove, she saw it and grabbed it and hoped he liked the coffee she made him.

Sirus just sat on his stool, his burnt food in front of him. He poked at it with his fork. "So mean." He said pouting still at the after affects of his prank. "I'm not really picky on my coffee." Daylen answered truthfully. The would drink any kind of coffee, well as long as it wasn't thick and sludgy like how Sirus' coffee turned out. "That's not true, you hate my coffee." Sirus said cheerfully once again. "That is because it wasn't coffee, it was sludge." Sirus playful acted offended. "It wasn't that bad." He said still playfully hurt. "When it's thicker than molasses then it can't be counted as coffee." Daylen said crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at his brother, he giggled at the comment. "You're just being mean again." He said placing down his fork and staring at Daylen's bowl. "Don't you even think about it." Daylen said warning his twin, who playfully pouted once more.

Contessa smiles as she starts to work on heating up some water in the coffee pot and pours three spoonfuls of the coffee from the container into a mug. She looked for the sugar and found little sugar cubes. He's not picky about his coffee... she reminded herself and checked the water. When it was boiling, she carefully poured it into the mug and started to stir it with a spoon then dropped three sugar cubes into it. It smelled lovely, she just hoped he liked it. Contessa stirred it some more until it had all dissolved, then took out the spoon and handed the mug to Daylen. "H-here you go." she said and smiled nervously. She was trying so hard to be good in his eyes. Sitting down, she looked at her food and wondered if it was cold now or still warm.

Daylen gently took the mug from Contessa as she handed it to him. "Thank you." He said softly to her. He took a small sip and softly smile at her. "This is very delicious, Miss Contessa." He took another sip of coffee after he spoke. Sirus was just smiling as he watched the two, he was enjoying watching their interaction. He turned his attention from Sirus and noticed her looking at her food. It was probably cold by now. He reheated her meal slowly, stopping when steam started to rise. He set down his mug near his bowl, would it taste the same so she wouldn't lose out on flavor. There was some times his pyrokinesis came in handy, well a lot of times it did come in handy but it did come with navigated times sadly.

Contessa let out a sigh of relief when Daylen complimented her coffee. "T-Thank-you Daylen." she said and grinned happily as if she had just been praised by the most important person in the world. "I'm happy to know you like it." she said softly. Her eyes glanced at Daylen before looking back down at her bowl of food. It wasn't long before she saw steam rising from it again and smiled, "Thank-you." she said softly and blew softly at her forkfull of food before taking the bite happily and enjoying the delicious flavors. Contessa took a sip of her milk and looked at Sirus, "You were right, this is really good!" she agreed.

Sirus just nodded happily. "Ain't it. You should try his omelets. Those are also very yummy... not as yummy as the stir-fry but still very yummy." He chirped happily. Daylen just leaned against the opposite counter as he quietly ate his meal. He was waiting to see how long it would take Sirus to notice the extra bit of food in the pots, probably would take a while. "I wouldn't eat anything Sirus makes. He over seasons, sometimes its not fully cooked or burnt." Sirus just chuckled, Daylen was right he couldn't cook to save his life. "I am a horrible cook." He said laughing at himself. "I burnt half the kitchen making toast once." He said chuckling as Daylen just shook his head lightly. He couldn't believe Sirus found it so amusing that he couldn't cook. "Come to think of it. I still haven't found what I'm good at. I am bad at everything." Sirus said thinking, he was playfully folding his arms over his chest. It didn't bother him that he hadn't found a skill yet. "Sports." Dayle said softly. "You always were better at sports." Daylen took a bite of his rice as Sirus playfully slapped the counter. "That's right, we haven't played ball in a long time. We should play that." He said happily. Daylen just looked at his brother, it did sound fun. "Alright but no teleporting." He said taking another bite. Sirus just smiled happily, he was pretty good at sports, he just never had time to play them much.

Contessa smiled, "Omelets are really good I agree. This stir fry isn't yummy, I think it's really tasty and delicious." she answered honestly and continued to eat her meal happily while listening to them tell their interesting stories. So Sirus isn't a cook. He's more of the active member. Likes to run around and play sports while Daylen prefers to work or cook on occasions. Interesting. Contessa thought to herself as she looked from Daylen to Sirus. "How...How did you burn half the kitchen trying to make toast?" she asked curiously. "You do not have a toaster?" she asked and shook her head. "And I wouldn't say you're bad at everything, no one is bad at everything." she added and took more bites of her food. She'd love to see them play someday, it would be fun to watch them play without any pranks. Contessa soon finished her food and the glass of milk and smiled. "Thank-you for the lovely meal Daylen." she thanked politely. "It was really a delicious meal." she commented.

Sirus nodded at Contessa. "Well I had a toaster but I guess it shorted out and caught the kitchen on fire." He said still smiling but it was soon replaced with a playful frown as Daylen spoke. "He set the temperature too high and spilt his juice on it. I had to come in and extinguish the flames, also had to heal his burns." Sirus just chuckled. "I like my story better." Daylen just set his empty bowl in the sink and picked up his coffee. "You always do." He simply stated before taking a sip and setting it back down. Daylen just softly nodded to Contessa's thanks and comment about the food. "Sirus isn't really good at anything but sports and people." Daylen said softly and Sirus nodded in agreement. He really was awful at nearly everything he tried. "Well I'm very good at soccer, though Daylen is just as good." Sirus giggled before speaking again. "He has to be good at them or it would be too easy to win." Daylen just crossed his arms over his chest as he leaned against the sink. Last time he played against Sirus, he lost greatly but it was rather fun and a good work out. However his theory was that Sirus was great at sports due to his insanely high amount of energy.

Contessa listened and nodded in understanding to Sirus' story, but when Daylen told his version of what had happened well it seemed to make more sense. "Oh dear! You should be careful you know." she said kindly to Sirus and listened to Daylen speak about how Sirus was best at sports and people and nothing else. "I'd really love to watch the both of you play sometime. I think it would be really fun to watch." Contessa suggested with a nod of her head. Her head slightly ached at the moment but that was because of her eye, it wasn't anything to be concerned of. "I'm not good at sports, I'm too clumsy. I would probably end up hurting myself somehow." she said and laughed. "I actually do not know what I'm good at." she admitted. Contessa knew that she was probably good at something, she just never noticed what it was.

Sirus just chuckled at Contessa's words, it was why he always had Daylen cook meals or went out to eat. After that accident he really didn't want to try again. It was actually a lot worse than it sounded but both Daylen and himself wouldn't tell her that. "I am careful Miss Contessa, that's why Daylen cooks." He said still chuckling. Daylen just shook his head softly at his brother. He never did fully understand him. Sirus' face lit up at her following words. "Oh that would be even more fun then. I'll teach you so you can beat Daylen up on the field with me." He said happily, he loved the idea of her playing with him and Daylen. Daylen just never moved from his position as he listened to his twin. "Two against one? Don't you want to make it more even and have her on my team?" He asked his brother curiously. "Nah, I think she'll be better on the winning team." Sirus said giggling as Daylen just looked at him plainly. Daylen just turned to Contessa ignoring his brother's last comment. "I'm sure you'll figure it out soon." Daylen replied trying to reassure her as Sirus smiled widely. He leaned over to Contessa and whispered once more so Daylen couldn't hear. "Oh, he really likes you." He said playfully but honestly.

Contessa nodded, glad to know that at least he was being careful about it. "Well good, I'm happy to hear that Sirus." she said and grinned when Sirus started to offer to teach her how to play and when they both spoke about her being on their team. "W-well...I could always be on both teams." she offered. "I can be on Sirus' team for one game and then I can be on Daylen's team for the other game. I can keep alternating that way you can both have me on your teams." she suggested and clasped her hands behind her back. contessa thought it was a good idea. She just hoped that they liked it too since she really didn't want to look like she was picking favorites. Smiling warmly at Daylen's comment she nodded, "Thank-you Daylen. I sure hope so." she said softly and blushed brightly at what Sirus had whispered to her. It was a nice to think that Daylen actually liked her possibly. "You really think so?" she whispered back.

Sirus just nodded to her words. "I do or he wouldn't be nice to you." Sirus said playfully, he looked at Daylen before whispering more. "It's strange seeing him like this to someone outside of the family. So, it means that he must really like you." Daylen just watched the two as Sirus continued to the whisper to the blushing Contessa. Sirus just pulled away before continuing the conversations of sport pairing. "No, I think I'll keep you as my teammate." He said cheerfully as Daylen just looked at him. He actually like Contessa's idea but he knew Sirus would just want to over kill him in the games. Even if Contessa wasn't good at them like she said, he still would be over killed with Sirus on her team. Daylen lightly laughed at his brother. "You are having too much fun with this Sirus. It's over kill even when it's just you." Sirus just nodded at his twin happily with himself.
Sirus just pulled out his pocket watch and slightly frown. "Awe, its getting rather late. Shall we go Miss Contessa?" He asked her curious as Daylen took out his pocket watch. The time did fly fast these last few days, he wondered if it would pass this quickly until the wedding or if it would continue after the marriage. Sirus held out his hands for her to grab once she was ready.

Sirus was right, why else would Daylen be nice to her if he didn't like her? Out of politeness...?she thought to herself but quickly shook that thought from her head. She wanted to believe that he liked her, she did like him after all even though he intimidated her. She chuckled softly when Sirus insisted on keeping her on his team, "Very well then Sirus. I still look forward to playing with the both of you someday." she said and smiled at both Sirus and Daylen. However, when Sirus mentioned how late it was getting she frowned slightly and nodded. "Yes I suppose I should go. I wouldn't want to worry my parents." she agreed and curtsied to Daylen. "I enjoyed our time together Daylen, until next time." she said politely and looked over at Sirus as she took his hands. "Well then, we should go now I think." she commented quietly.

Sirus just playfully smiled at Contessa. He was looking forward to teaching her and having her help beat Daylen in sports. It was going to be fun, even if Daylen rarely played them with him. "I'll come kidnap you again after tomorrow." Sirus said happily. "Unless you are busy then it will be a day you're not." Daylen nodded a farewell to Contessa before Sirus blinked away with her. He reappeared in her family's house and gently let go of her hands. "Okay, I will be here bright and early to help you ladies get ready." He spoke happily to Contessa. "Also Daylen will come as well so he can check your eye, make sure there wasn't any problems in the growth. I'm highly sure there wasn't, there never is." He said sweetly as he continued to smile at her. "Then I'll transport you ladies and your father to Daylen's house. Where you ladies will meet up with my mother and we boys can have our fun." He said letting her and her family know the plan. He was hoping nothing was wrong with it. If they needed to do something in the morning or later he would work around it.

Contessa nodded in understanding at what Sirus said and smiled at Daylen before they vanished and appeared back at her house. Her parents were relaxing in the living room, talking about work related things. Carolyn sat on the floor and played with her rabbit plushies given to her by Sirus but when they arrived she looked up and giggled when she saw Sirus. Her parents looked up and smiled, "Welcome back sweetheart." said her father and nodded in greeting to Sirus. "Hello Sirus." he said softly. "We're all looking forward to tomorrow. My husband doesn't work tomorrow so don't you have to worry about that." her mother explained. "I'll see to it that we don't take long to get ready." she added. Contessa nodded and looked at Sirus. "I'm sure you're just as excited as us for tomorrow." she commented and smiled.

Sirus smiled playfully and clapped lightly. "Oh yay, I'm sure we'll all have fun." He said in his cheerful voice. He looked at little Carolyn on the floor and waved at her. "Hi cutie." He said walking over to her and kneeling down. He cupped his hands together and held them out to her. He opened his hand to reveal a tiny mechanical butterfly with colorful cloth wings. It fluttered softly over to her then into the air before landing softly on the floor. "It's baby friendly and easy to fix." He said sweetly to Contessa's parents. It was big enough for her not to eat, soft enough not to hurt her or cut her. "As for tomorrow I'm looking forward to it, technically Daylen will be transporting us to his house since I have to touch people to teleport." He said softly. "He made this really cool pair of gloves that can teleport a large group anywhere." He couldn't wait from them to see it, he knew that Contessa for sure would be in awe of it.
He stood after smiling at Carolyn. "I sadly have to go. I have to try and get the Elder's to stop harassing Daylen for apprenticeship." He said giggling at the thought. "You think they would realise he hates them and would never agree to become their apprentice even if it meant he would one day be a new Elder." It was very funny to think of his little brother becoming an Elder, especially having to deal with people he hated most to become one. "Goodnight D' Veen family, I'll see you in the morning." He said before blinking into thin air, he had allot of talking to do.

Contessa nodded, "I'm sure we'll all have fun." she agreed softly and they all watched as Sirus approached Carolyn who was staring at him, eyes wide and a grin on her face as she cooed happily and raised her hand in an attempt to wave back at him. They all knew that Carolyn loved Sirus and would probably want to spend time with him once she gold old enough to talk. The little butterfly awed everyone and Carolyn watched it, laughing happily as it flew towards her and landed in front of her. She picked it up and looked at it closely wondering how it did what it did. Her parents nodded and her father gently smoothed out her hair. "He made a pair of gloves?" Contessa repeated and grinned, she was really looking forward to seeing that. He must have finally finished the gloves he was working on that one time we watched him. she thought to herself.
Before anyone could say anything, Sirus was gone and all that was left as a reminder of his visit, was the little butterfly in Carolyn's hands. "We should all get some sleep. Tomorrow is a busy day for all of us." her father said. Nodding, Contessa said her goodnights to everyone and headed up to her room. She still had the small bag of seeds but that would have to wait so she put the bag away in her small drawer and got dressed for bed. Soon the house was dark and silent as everyone had now fallen to sleep and Contessa was just sliding under the covers. "Goodnight Daylen, Sirus and Rosa. I hope you are all sleeping well." she whispered softly before closing her eye and falling to sleep.

Daylen just stirred in his sleep, a layer of sweat rested on him as images flashed across his mind. Sun shone through a stained glass window, the scent of flowers filled the room. Spattered drops of blood dripped from the white petals of the bouquet to the side, screams filled the building. The carpet drenched with blood. Daylen touched his stomach only to find his hand covered in his own blood. His cousin looked at him in shock. Daylen's mouth opened to talk but no words came from him. His body went cold. Daylen jolted awake, he slowly sat up confused about the images he just saw. He took his pocket watch off the nightstand and looked at the time. He had only been asleep for a few hours. He sighed lightly before setting his watch back down. He went into the bathroom, took a hot shower then headed to his study after getting dressed for the day. It was still rather earlier, he had several hours before the sun would even start to rise.
Hours had passed as he worked on his calculation, he was sure this time he had gotten it right for his skeletal glove. He rechecked his blueprint as Sirus appeared behind him. "Good morning Grumpy!" He said happily as he saw his brother. "Eh, did you even sleep last night?" His twin asked him before leaning against his desk. He was looking at all the little numbers and symbols on the paper. "Not really." He told Sirus, it was clear he didn't really sleep, the bags under his eyes proved that. "Well go drink some coffee, we have a Boy's day today." Sirus said pushing him towards the kitchen. Once Daylen had drank a cup of fresh coffee, he placed his hand on Daylen's shoulder and blinked them to Contessa's house. The gloves resting on Daylen's belt. "Hello?" Sirus called out softly into the house. It was early like he said but the sun had been up for a few hours.

"You have to bathe Carolyn, you want to look good for uncle Sirus don't you?" Carolyn's mother asked as she bathed Carolyn. Her husband was getting dressed after his shower and Contessa was still sleeping soundly in bed. Carolyn's mother easily bathed Carolyn and once she was done, dried her off and began to get her dressed. "We need to go wake up your sister." she informed softly and quickly picked up Carolyn in her arms once she was dressed and left to Contessa's room, knocking on her door. "Contessa dear, wake up!" she called into the room then left to toss the dirty laundry into the basket. Carolyn yawned cutely and looked over at him once he had stepped out to help his wife. "She's still sleeping?" he asked his wife. "Yes she is but I think she'll wake up soon." she said and handed Carolyn over to him so that she could focus on the laundry.
Hearing Sirus' familiar voice, she tossed the laundry back in the basket and quickly left to greet him. "Oh, hello Sirus." she said and looked over at Daylen. "Hello again Daylen." she said politely. Her husband walked over to her side and smiled at both Daylen and Sirus, little Carolyn squealed at Sirus and raised her small hand up in greeting. "Contessa should be awake by now. She's up in her room." Carolyn's father explained. He was right, Contessa had woke up and was busy tending her bed neatly and did her best to fix her hair so that it didn't look too terrible. She was wearing her long white cotton nightgown with pink hearts scattered over it and long sleeves. All with white lace trimming. Slipping on her slippers, she sighed softly and opened her door. "I'm coming mum!" she called out and yawned softly as she carefully headed down the stairs, slightly embarrassed by her appearance. When she saw both Daylen and Sirus, she smiled warmly, "Hello again." she said softly.

Daylen and Sirus both greeted Contessa's parents, afterwards Sirus turned to Carolyn. "Hi cutie, good morning." He said sweetly to her. Daylen just watched as his brother walk over to the baby. Sirus just chuckled at seeing Contessa, she was still in her pajamas. "Not a early morning person?" Sirus asked Contessa. Daylen just plainly looked at Sirus as he rubbed his hands to together to conjure up a lollipop for Carolyn. Daylen just shook his head lightly. "Forgive my brother, he thinks candy is a breakfast food." He said to Contessa's parents. Daylen nodded to Contessa softly. "Good morning Miss Contessa. How is your eye?" He asked softly. He would look at it after she was dress. Daylen doubted that she would like him up close examining her eye as she stood in her pajamas. Sirus just smiled as he waved his hand in the air, three clothing boxes appeared on the couch. The smaller of the boxes had a outfit for Carolyn, it was a simple lace sun dress with tier of cute ruffles on the skirt. The top was white, the skirt was pink with a black bow ribbon around the waist with matching tights and shoes. The one for Contessa's mother was a simple skirt with a matching jacket and top. The skirt and jacket were plum in color with a white dress shirt. The skirt was long and flowy, as the jacket stop mid-forearm and trimmed with white lace. The last one was for Contessa, her was another simple dress with no layering or lace. It was similar to Carolyn's but with a cream top and peach skirt, the belt also black. "If you don't like them, let me know and I'll run and get you another one." Sirus said happily as he made faces at Carolyn.

"Well it's not that, I just didn't want to keep you waiting." Contessa answered and chuckled softly as Carolyn grabbed the lollipop and stuck in her mouth happily. "It's quite alright. Carolyn doesn't eat many sweets, so this is alright." Contessa's mother replied and blinked in surprise as the boxes appeared out of thin air. "Oh my!" she gasped and walked over to the boxes while Carolyn removed the lollipop from her mouth and started to laugh at the funny faces that Sirus was making. "My eye?" Contessa replied and shrugged. "I don't know. It doesn't hurt at the moment. I think it will take a while to adjust to it though right?" she asked curiously. Taking the small box, Carolyn's mother handed it to her husband. "I think you should get her ready while Contessa and I get ready too." she explained softly. Nodding, he took the box and looked at Carolyn. "Come along Carolyn, you can play once you're dressed." he said and easily picked her up in his arms, excusing himself as he walked up to Carolyn's room to get her dressed in the new clothes.
"You can look at it once I get dressed. I apologize for the way I look right now, it's not flattering at all." she admitted and blushed softly as her mother handed her a box. "I believe this one is yours deary. Now get dressed and don't keep the men waiting, it's very rude and unlady like." her mother explained softly and excused herself. "We'll be back soon. Excuse us." Contessa said softly and carefully walked up the stairs and into her room where she closed the door behind her and got undressed. She then took a quick shower and started to put on the clothes provided for her. She loved the colors very much, and when she was dressed, she worked on her hair before grabbing her dirty clothes and heading out to toss them in the laundry basket. When she was done with that she walked over to where the boys were and smiled warmly. Her father then returned with Carolyn now in her new clothes and brushed some hair from her face.

Sirus just walked over to Daylen when Carolyn went with her father to go get changed. He couldn't wait to see Contessa's face when Daylen teleported them to his manor. Daylen just lightly shook his head at Contessa's word, she was fine in her pajamas, granted he was use to people being up and dressed in at this time. He was from a family of earlier risers. However she didn't look bad in her heart pajamas, they were actually cute. Daylen took the gloves from his belt, he put the left one on and tinkered with the wiring a bit. They looked like normal everyday gloves with a small metal backing and wires running through a skeletal system. "Will they work?" Sirus asked confused about why his brother was playing with a wire. Daylen just nodded his reply, they were working perfectly. He just was making sure all the wiring was in place. "Of course." He simply replied to his older brother who just smiled.
Both Sirus and Daylen looked up when they heard someone walk up to them. "You look very beautiful." Daylen said softly to her. He really thought she did. Sirus just nodded with his wide smile and looked at Carolyn. "You look very pretty too." He said playfully to Carolyn, she was just too cute to him. "You're eye shouldn't take long to adjust too. Maybe a day, two at the most." Daylen told her in his soft voice. He set the wire and closed the case on the glove before looking back at her. "May I? He asked Contessa, he needed to get close to her and take a deep look to make sure it grew back perfectly.

Contessa blushed brightly at Daylen's comment and failed miserably at trying to hide it. Carolyn laughed softly when Sirus spoke and stuck the lollipop back into her mouth and whined softly, obviously wanting Sirus to hold her. "I think she wants you to hold her." her father said softly. Contessa looked back as she heard her mother join them in the living room and took her place beside her father. Looking back at Daylen, Contessa nodded and remained absolutely still as if she were in a medical office. She didn't think anything was wrong but trusted Daylen to tell her if something was. Her mother watched her from where she stood and then looked over at Carolyn who was whining softly, obviously wanting something. "What is it sweetie?" she asked her. "She wants Sirus to hold her I think." her husband answered.

Sirus just chuckled lightly when Contessa blushed. He was going to enjoy watching them when they got married. If they were this nervous and bashful around each other now, imagine how they would be after the honeymoon. He nearly burst into laughter at the thought but held it in the best he could, which wasn't very much. Daylen just looked at his twin who just smiled at him. He didn't really want to know what his brother was laughing at, it was never a good thing for him. Sirus turned his attention to Contessa's parents. "Now that is a request I will gladly take." He said in his normal, happy tone. He gently picked up Carolyn and smiled widely at her. "Hi baby." He spoke soft but still happily to the baby now in his arms. He loved this little girl, even though he met her just a few days ago.
Daylen just shook his head at his brother before turning back to Contessa. "Let me know if there is any pain or uncomfortable aching, anything that worries you." He told her as he lightly touched her face near her eye. He always did this for people he gave tonics too so it wasn't as embarrassing as he thought it would be. He gently touched around her eye as he looked into it. "Looks good so far." Daylen told her. He stopped touching her and reached into his vest pocket. He took out a small light and flicked it on. "This will be bright but I need to check out the response." He simply told her before flashing the light into her eye. It reacted nicely to the light. There was a slight delay but that was normal with newly grown organs. He flicked it off and placed it back into his pocket. Daylen held out his index finger. "Follow my finger, please." He said moving his finger to the left then too the right. His eyes never leaving hers as he did. He did this for a living so it was natural for him.
