Carolyn giggled happily and grabbed hold of his finger in her small hand tightly. Her parents watched with smiles on their faces, "She really does like you." her father said softly. His wife nodded in agreement, "Yes she does, it's cute really." she said softly and chuckled when Carolyn grabbed a lock of Sirus in her other hand. It was really nice to see her bonding with her future uncle and they wondered if she'd have this sort of relationship with Daylen too. Perhaps she would once she got older? They hoped she did, they could see that Daylen was a really nice person so they didn't think it would hard for Carolyn to get close to Daylen too.

Contessa nodded at Daylen and watched him closely as he started to gently touch her near her new eye. It didn't hurt at all so that was a good sign. She was glad to hear that everything looked good so far and relaxed. "Is it supposed to be aching still?" she asked curiously as he continued to work. It was very relaxing to watch him work so calmly. Her eyes focused on the light and followed it with what she thought was relative ease, unaware that there was a delayed reaction with her new eye. She focused now on his finger and again, followed it with ease. Her parents looked over at her and hoped that everything was okay with her new eye.

Sirus just smiled more when she grabbed his finger and hair. "I'm glad, I really like her." He replied as he made faces at her some more. Sirus just looked over at his brother who was checking out Contessa's eye. Even on his day off, all he did was work. Well at least it was for his future sister-in-law. Sirus held Carolyn with one hand as he pulled out his pocket watch, he checked the time and then held it out for Carolyn to play with. He had many others at home, this one was just his favorite but he didn't care if she wanted it. It was plain silver with his family crest, nothing special really. "It's getting time we should leave. Mother should be arriving anytime." Sirus told Daylen as he looked back to Carolyn. He playfully stuck his tongue out at her. He liked when she laughed.

Daylen just nodded to his brother's comment. "The aching should stop soon, you're still adjusting to your new eye." He lowered his hand and smiled softly at Contessa. "Everything appears normal. The delay in your reactions will fade with the aching, as will the movement. Your eyes will work harder in order to work together but that will fade soon as well." Daylen said looking away from her. "See, told you everything would be okay. Daylen's tonics never fail." Sirus chirped happily as Daylen place the right glove on. Daylen turned slightly away from everyone and started to draw in the air, a neon green tail of energy followed his fingertips as he drew ancient symbols in mystical circle. He drew his hands closer together and lowered them, the drawing of energy following his hands. Once it touched the floor he slowly separated his hands to make the circle spread underneath everyone. Daylen turned to everyone and softly spoke. "Is everyone ready?" He asked curiously, the circle never faded from beneath them. It wasn't harmful to anything, just lifeless energy used in old sorcery.

Carolyn laughed some more when Sirus made more faces at her and cooed at him, trying to copy the faces he was making. Her parents only watched with smiles on their faces, seeing how happy Carolyn was. "It's really quite adorable isn't it?" her mother said quietly to her husband who nodded. "Very. I don't think we've seen her this happy before have we?" he asked her. She thought for a moment and chuckled. "I can't recall." she answered quietly. Carolyn let go of Sirus' hair and gently poked the new item in front of her. She giggled and held the pocket watch in her hand happily, laughing when Sirus stuck out his tongue at her. Carolyn copied him and laughed, obviously very happy right now.

Contessa nodded in understanding at what Daylen was saying. "I understand." she said softly and smiled warmly back at him. "Yes you did Sirus, and I believed you and still do." she said and chuckled. "Thank-you again for the new eye Daylen, it was very sweet of you." she said softly and looked at the glove. "I see you finished the glove, I knew you could." she commented quietly and nodded. "We're ready." her father said as he held his wife's hand in his. Contessa grinned as she watched the glove work its magic and widened her eyes. It was amazing and very pretty with the bright neon green lights.

Sirus giggle as Carolyn mimicked him. He really enjoy coming over to see Contessa and her family. He looked at Contessa and smiled as Daylen softly spoke to her. "This are completely different gloves then the one you saw." Sirus nodded to his brother's words. "He made those when he was fifteen. Won a reward for them." Daylen just looked at Sirus. Did he always have to brag about his accomplishments. He didn't care about the rewards or accomplishments mentioned in books. He just like tinkering and hiding away from the world.

Daylen snapped his fingers to active the circle. Streams of light shot up from the symbols as the circle beneath them started to swirl around them. Like with Sirus, colors began to swirl and mix together with the light. A sphere of multiple streams of color and light surrounded them merging together in a explosion. Once the lights died down, it revealed that they were in Daylen's grand entranceway of his manor. Sirus looked at Carolyn then pointed to a picture on the wall. It was the same as the one on his watch. "That's the family crest." He told her walking closer to it. It had two Solar-lunas with three crescent moons. Two of the moon fit in the larger one, the largest facing to the left, the second to the right and the center facing up. The flowers crossed and laying underneath the moons. Small stars randomly surrounding the image. Daylen just took off his gloves as his brother showed off their crest to Carolyn. "Would you like to look at them?" He held them out to Contessa, he was sure she would want to check them out.

"How impressive!" Contessa's father commented. Contessa wondered if he had given up on the glove he was working on but figured she could always ask him later when he wasn't so busy with other things. He's always going to be busy withh other things isn't he? Even when we're married he's going to hide away in his study....well I suppose I won't mind. At least he'll be happy with his work. she thought to herself, a slight frown appearing on her face but she quickly replaced it with a smile when all the different colors appeared, just as they had when she first 'blinked' with Sirus. It was alovely array of colors and everyone was in awe.

When they arrived at the manor, Carolyn looked over at the picture that Sirus pointed to and blinked, unsure of what it was. Her small hands held the pocket watch as her big eyes looked over at the picture and she pointed to the stars and looked at Sirus. She looked back at the picture and smiled, it was a very pretty picture even though she wasn't sure what any of it meant. Contessa looked to her parents who were busy talking about the events for today. Her attention went back to Daylen and she smiled. "Yes, thank-you." she said softly and carefully took the gloves from him to look at them closely. "So you got an award for these?" she asked and grinned. "I can see why. At such a young age and already making such great things." she said as she examined them. "How long did it take for you to complete and perfect them?" she asked curiously.

Sirus chuckled at Carolyn's reaction, he was sure she didn't understand but she was cute. He turned when he saw Daylen hand Contessa the gloves. Daylen just nodded, he had a award somewhere around here from them as well as many others. Probably buried somewhere in his study or attic. He had made a lot of things far better than those gloves at a younger age but he was going to tell her that. He never liked to brag, why should he when Sirus did it all for him. "Three months." Daylen replied simply. "They tap into the lifeless energy ancient sorcerers used. A lot of my inventions use that energy." Sirus just walked up happily listening to his brother. "Those are nothing, you should see what he did when he was twelve." Daylen just looked at his brother plainly. "Sirus, shut up." Sirus just giggled at his twin and looked at Carolyn. "Can we say: Grumpy." He asked her in a playful voice.

"Sirus be a dear and do stop bragging. It's very un-gentleman like." Their mother said. She walked up to her son's, Contessa and her family. Her dress was similar to her crimson one but teal in color and more embroidery. Her hair was in it's normal tight bun. She smiled at Contessa warmly. "Morning dear. I hope my boys haven't done anything foolish today." She said in her soft motherly tone. "Good morning mother." Daylen and Sirus said together. She smiled seeing Carolyn in Sirus' arms. She then turned her attention to Contessa's parent. "You must be the D' Veens. I am Sirus' and Daylen's mother, Rosa di Pavia. It's nice to finally meet you." She said softly. She had just arrived a few a minutes, just in time to see Sirus brag about his little brother accomplishments.

"Three months...wow they're amazing!" Contessa gasped, the grin on her face not leaving as she handled them with care, making sure not to set them off somehow. Carolyn finished her lollipop then and held the stick in her other hand while staring at the picture, giggling and making cute noises. "Are you still working on the glove I saw you working on? Or have you given up on it?" Contessa asked softly and hoped she wasn't coming across as nosy. When Sirus mentioned that Daylen had done other things at another age she couldn't help but be curious. Still, she wasn't going to ask him anything yet, she knew he would tell her once he felt comfortable talking about such things. Carolyn looked over at Daylen then back up at Sirus when he spoke and laughed before cutely sticking out her tongue at him.

"Good Morning Rosa. Not at all. They've behaved." she answered softly and gently smoothed out Carolyn's hair. Her parents nodded in greeting when Rosa approached them. "It's very nice to finally meet you. We're Contessa's and Carolyn's parents, I'm Edward D'Veen and this is my wife Grace D'Veen." Edward said politely and bowed slightly, Grace followed suit and curtsied easily. "You have lovely boys." Grace commented with a warm smile.

Daylen just nodded in silence. He was working on the glove she saw just this morning. His calculations had been reconfigured, all he needed to do was start rebuilding the skeletal structure before wiring it to the blueprint's design. "I was working in it this morning." He simply replied. Sirus just watch them but was pulled away when he heard Carolyn. He turned his attention to the little girl in his arms. He laughed when he saw her tongue and stuck his out in reply. Their mother lightly laughed at her oldest son, he was just like a large child himself.

She turned her attention back to Contessa and her family. The soft smile never leaving her face. For a high class family of sorcerers and witches, the di Pavia family were actually nice people; well this branch of the family atleast. "I am glad to hear that they behaved." She looked at Contessa's parents and nodded politely to them. "Please, you don't need to be so formal. We will be family after all." She told them sweetly about the bowing. "They are a handful, I can assure you." She said softly. "Your daughter is very lovely as well." She said honestly. Although Rosa didn't know her very well she could sense that she was a good person. "Shall we leave the men to their Boy's day? I have set an appointment for us girls with my favorite designer." She was very soft spoken like Daylen, yet put off the same loving and friendly aura as Sirus.

"Ohh." Contessa replied and measured one glove against her metal hand and chuckled, it wasn't going to fit her, her hand was too small and Daylen obviously had bigger hands. "I'm sure the glove is turning out great." she said quietly, not sure if Daylen even wanted to talk right now. Carolyn looked down at the pocket watch in her hands and then held it out to Sirus, laughing when he stuck out his tongue.

They knew Rosa was right, they'd all be family soon. How soon? That was what they didn't know. They didn't know when the wedding would actually take place, but knowing the Elders, they wouldn't have to wait too long. Grace laughed softly and nodded, "All kids are really, but they're a welcomed handful." she said softly. "Yes, I suppose we should. Contessa, grab Carolyn and come here deary." she said and turned to her husband. "Have fun dear." she said to him and kissed his cheek. Edward chuckled and nodded, "I think we will, Love. You take care of the girls and enjoy yourselves." he replied and kissed her forehead before doing the same to Contessa and Carolyn. Contessa smiled and handed back the gloves to Daylen before walking over to Sirus and carefully taking Carolyn from his arms. She took the pocket watch and handed it back to Sirus with a smile. "Have fun." she said to him and waved to them all before walking over to her mother with Carolyn in her arms. Carolyn cooed and raised a hand up at the boys and giggled.

Rosa just nodded softly in reply. Children were a welcome handful indeed. Daylen just watched Contessa measure a glove to her own hand. It overlapped her's, he didn't realize she was that much smaller than him. Perhaps he would have to make smaller gloves for her. He softly smiled as he took the gloves from her, he place them back on his belt as she walked away. Sirus just frown sadly when Contessa took Carolyn away, he gently took his watch and placed it back to his pocket before returning to normal. He playfully waved to Carolyn as a goodbye, he would see her later.

Once Grace, Contessa and Carolyn were ready, Rosa nodded to her sons as a farewell. She gracefully lifted her hand and waved it into the air. The same traveling view as Sirus' and Daylen's transportation flooded the view of the women before all four of them appeared in a elegant shop. Fabrics of all color lined the shelves and custom dresses fill the windows. "Ms. di Pavia, it is good to see you. You're right on time, I just got this new fabric that is totally fabulous." A female's voice called out, she stop upon seeing the three other females with her. "I can not wait to see it." Rosa softly replied but paused for a bit. "However I'm here for my future daughter-in-law. " The younger woman looked at her client. The seamstress was very flashy in colors, obvious a fashionista to the core. She turned her glazed to the new women with her favorite client, it was obvious who she meant. "Is this Daylen's bride to be?" Rosa just nodded softly to her seamstress. The seamstress walked over to Contessa, circling her as she looked her up and down. "Oh, I can totally work with her. Please allow me to do the wedding dresses." She chirped happily, she had just the design to make her look fabulous for the big day.

Both Grace and Contessa looked around once they appeared in the lovely shop. The amount of fabrics was overwhelming. Contessa handed over Carolyn to her mother and looked around when she heard a woman's voice. She didn't see anyone at the time and wondered if she was just hearing things, she was relieved though to see a woman come out and approach them. Future Daughter-in-law...I really need to start getting used too that huge fact. It's hard to believe though...I never thought I'd be getting married so...soon? she thought to herself and looked at the woman. Her mother was also looking at the the woman, they were both surprised by what she was wearing. It was very vocal, color wise but it seemed to look good on her. Grace knew that only certain people could pull off that sort of style, and it was obvious that this woman was one of them. Contessa stood like a statue while the woman circled her like a predator would its prey and smiled nervously at her. Grace smiled and nodded, she wouldn't mind if she wanted to design the dress. In the end though, it was up to Rosa.

Both Rosa and the seamstress looked at Contessa. Rosa just lightly folded her hands in front of her lower stomach as she smiled softly. The fashionista summoned her assistant from her desk and ordered her to take down all of Contessa's measurements. She noticed the look on Contessa's face and smiled lovingly. "Oh darling, don't look so worried." She said sweetly. "Tell me, what would you like, traditional or something more modern?" She said walking over to the front counter. She walked behind it and gathered a few books, all of her own designs for wedding dresses. "Personally with your complexion. I'll would suggest a mix. Perhaps a embroidered bodice with a flowing skirt." She flipped through one of her books till she found the bodice she like. It was white with transparent jewels delicately laid out to form a beautiful design. "The bottom of the dress we can do completely different then this one. Lace is also in this season as well." She said holding out the book for Contessa. "Are you sure you can handle this Saria? The Elder's want the marriage to take place as soon as possible. Doesn't give you much time." Saria just smiled. "Oh you know I love a good challenge." She was completely fine with it, after all, she was the best seamstress for several towns.

Once the women were gone Sirus chirped happily. "Oh, now that they're gone. What should we do?" He asked his brother who just looked at him. He had no idea what they would do. Sirus just stared at him a few seconds before looking at Edward. "Any ideas? We can give you a tour, let you see the home your daughter will be living in?" He asked him, he wasn't sure either. He was just suggesting everything that would pop up in his mind. Daylen wouldn't suggest anything, after all he was really trouble with entertaining people.

On cue, Contessa visibly relaxed and nodded. "Well, I was thinking of going the traditional route but you are in charge here. If you think I'd look best in a mixture I'd be happy to go that way." Contessa answered politely. Grace smiled warmly as she watched her daughter discuss a wedding dress, it was an emotional thing to witness but she remained calm. Contessa looked at the various designs and smiled, nodding in agreement. "I really like that, and I do love lace. I would really like my dress to have some lace on it and some sparkles as well if it's possible." she explained, finally feeling comfortable. Rosa was right, they didn't have much time to waste, the wedding had to be done as soon as possible. Oh dear, I'll probably be getting married before the end of this month! she thought to herself.

Edward noticed how quiet it had gotten now that it was only them three. "I think a tour would be a great way to start this day. If you have any questions about Contessa I'd be happy to answer them too." he replied easily. He knew that they probably had some questions regarding Contessa, and he was more than happy to answer them to the best of his ability. He looked forward to seeing the house, he wanted to make sure his daughter would be living comfortably. He was really going to miss her once she got married, but he was sure she'd visit as much as she could since she would now have a husband to attend to.

Saria just giggled softly at Contessa's words. "Oh darling, it's really up to you. You're the one getting married." Rosa just looked through one of the books curiously, she was interested in how Contessa's dress would end up. "She is right. We may be rushed but it's your day to spoil yourself." Saria just lit up hearing Contessa's words, she went to the counter once more for her sketchbook and a pencil. She opened to a page and started to sketch as she walked back to Contessa. "We can add a similar bodice with a simple long flowing skirt, add a sheer layer of white and add the lace to trim the bottom." She told her as she drew the basic outline. "If we do that then I would suggest a bit color for the gown. Perhaps a maroon colored fabric under the crystal jewels and maroon thread for the lace design. Sort of trimming the bottom of the sheer with color. We could go with a paler color, one that sticks out less if you prefer?" Saria stopped sketching to wait for her reply. Rosa just closed the book and looked at the sketch, she found the idea of the dress very pretty. "What about a dark peach? It would bring out her eyes more." Rosa suggested and the seamstress smiled. "Dark peach would but with the makeup it would slightly over do it. Maroon will make her eyes pop in an enchanting way." Rosa smiled softly. Saria was right, it would be too much.

Sirus just clapped his hands excitedly. "A tour it is." He turned to the main door and playfully cleared his throat before deepening his voice. "Over here, we have the entranceway to the Di Pavia manor. It has been in the family for generations. Five generations have been born and raised in this very manor." Daylen just looked at his twin. He was acting weird again. "To the right we have a entertaining parlor that leads to a.... room I don't remember what it's called and to the left we have another entertaining parlor that leads to a ballroom, dining room, hallway and the kitchen." Sirus said trying to explain the place. "Sirus, I think he rather see the mansion then a verbal tour." Daylen said softly to his twin. Sirus giggled and motion for Edward to follow him. "That works better. Follow me." He said walking to the right. He entered a large room with Victorian furnishings and a large fireplace. Expensive paintings and carpeting thru the room together, bookshelves filled top to bottom of some part of the walls. "This is a entertaining room and through here is a room." He said walking over to sliding doors. Daylen just shook his head at his brother as he followed. He was a horrible guide.

"It's just a lot to process..." Contessa said quietly and looked over at her mother for some help. "Contessa dear, this is all on you. You are in control of what you want to wear. Just go with what you know you'll love." Grace suggested. Nodding, Contessa looked back at the seamstress and smiled. "Some color would be lovely. I do love the idea of the lace trimming." she said with a grin on her face. "What about the color Champagne or Pink Champagne? Or...would that be too plain?" Contessa asked. She wanted to know that it would look nice on the dress, she wanted to have a beautiful dress with a puffy skirt. Peach was one of her favorite colors but it wouldn't do, at least she didn't think so since they had already ruled it out and she wasn't a fan of the color maroon.

Edward listened carefully and looked around as they walked around the house. He could already tell that Daylen wasn't much of a talker and Sirus was a very vocal person. They were complete opposites but that's usually what happened among siblings, it was perfectly normal. The house was really lovely and he knew that Contessa was going to love living here and that she'd be comfortable, he just hoped she was treated properly. He trusted Daylen though, and if Daylen upset Contessa in any way, she was sure to let him know. "Lovely home you have here." he commented honestly as he followed Sirus.

Saria was adding touches to the sketch. "Champagne pink is far more feminine and better for weddings." She then flew the idea around in her head. "Oh yes, I do believe that would work darling." She replied showing Contessa the rough sketch of the dress so far. Rosa was just looking at the sketch, she found it lovely, Contessa's choice in color would make it far more appealing her in view. "Perhaps something like this? Or would you rather a mermaid tail? Maybe layered or outward in a more puffy nature?" She asked her curiously, she turned to her assistant who was getting ready to take Contessa's measurements. She was making sure she had enough of the champagne pink fabric and thread. Her assistant went to the front counter and went to the book with the inventory before leaving to the back to make sure. When she returned she nodded to her employer. She smiled and turned back to Contessa, she could definitely do champagne pink if she wanted. Her assistant then gather the tape measure and went to do her do in getting Contessa's for the wedding dress her employer would probably drop everything for.

Sirus had shown multiple large rooms with the same expensive taste and beauty as the previous rooms. He stopped in the hallway before Contessa's solarium. "This is your daughter's future garden. She has one plant in here so far but I'm sure that will change soon." He said happily opening the door to the room. "Two doors down the hallway on the left is Daylen's study. That's where you will find him most of the time, doing his weird loner things." He said playfully. Daylen just looked at his brother once more. He was really terrible at tours, especially with large places. "Are you going to show him the whole manor?" He asked him, Sirus wasn't sure if he would. It was rather huge. "All seventy-five bedrooms and baths?" Sirus just pouted playfully. "Yeah, that is allot to show huh?" He then popped back to normal self. "Maybe just the important parts of the house then." He said giggling at himself as Daylen just shook his head.

"That would be perfect. I do love that color!" Contessa said happily and nodded in approval at the sketch, "That looks beautiful! I'm not a fan of mermaid tails. I would really love a puffy dress, it's something I've always dreamed of having." she admitted and blushed softly. She stood absolutely still for the measurements to be precise. Grace smiled and cradled Carolyn in her arms while listening to what the seamstress was saying. Personally, she wasn't fond of mermaid tails either. Contessa couldn't help but get excited as she wondered how her dress would turn out. Would Daylen like it? As long as you like it, that's all that matters. Her mother's words came to her head just then. She would always say that to her whenever Contessa wondered if other people would like her clothes. Her mother was right, she was loving the dress so far and it was just a messy sketch on some paper at the moment.

Edward looked at the solarium and smiled, "She told you she wanted to have a garden didn't she?" he said and shook his head, smiling. "Contessa always wanted a garden, she loves flowers. We couldn't start a garden in our home though because Carolyn takes up a lot of our attention." he said quietly. "I'm sure Contessa will love living here, and she'll live here very comfortably from what I've seen." he commented and laughed softly. "I wouldn't be surprised if she got lost though. This home is really big, and I haven't seen everything but I can tell it's all lovely." he noted with a nod of his head. Contessa was pretty clumsy so she would probably get lost a few times until she memorized the layout of this place. "I'm sure you'll take very good care of my daughter won't you Daylen?" he asked kindly.

Saria smiled at her color choice, it was one of her favorites. Though maroon would have been very pretty with her complexion but it was Contessa's dress and she would do everything she could to make it perfect for her. "Oh, I haven't found anyone that does." She said giggling at the thought of a mermaid tail. She turned the sketch back to herself. "Puffy around the hips or the feet?" She asked curiously. She wrote in the corner of the sketch the coloring Contessa had chosen. Her pencil ready to start the details of the dress. She knew she would have fun with this order. Her assistant finished the measurements and handed her employer the piece of paper with the numbers and labels. "The veil we can make match the trimming if you would like. Sheer white with a champagne pink design." She said smiling sweetly. "I believe that would look lovely." Saria nodded at her own words. Rosa just smiled at the thought, the dress really seemed to be coming along nicely.

Sirus just grinned widely and nodded. "She told our mother, we figured that this would be a good match for her. It should help her adjust to this place. Having one place to call her own." Daylen replied softly. He smiled at the thought of her getting lost, it was very easy to in large places. He nodded in reply, he would do his best to take care of her. "I was wondering before I answer, if I could have your blessing in the marriage? I know it was forced on us by the Elder's but it would mean allot to me to know if I could have it." He asked slyly to Edward. He really did want his blessing, he wouldn't feel right if he didn't get it.

Contessa brushed some hair from her face once the measurements were taken and chuckled softly. "The hips please." she answered politely and thought a bit about the veil option she was given. It would look nice right? It wouldn't look too busy? She wasn't sure but she thought it might look nice so she decided to take a chance. "I'd really like that actually." she replied and nodded to reassure herself. Grace was already picturing it in her head, and it was going to be a really beautiful dress. All eyes would be on her daughter when she walked down the isle. "You are going to look so beautiful deary." she said softly. Contessa blushed at her mother's words and smiled.

"Yes, having something she can easily recognize will help her learn the layout of the house. It will take her a while, but she'll memorize it all eventually." Edward agreed and raised an eyebrow at what Daylen said next. He wanted his blessing? Well that was very old school of him and he liked that. Old school was the way things had to be, that's what Edward always believed. "It was forced yes." Edward agreed and smiled softly. "Every time Contessa comes home, I can tell how happy she is. I can tell she really likes you Daylen, even if she herself doesn't say so. Probably because she's always so shy...but I know she'll be happy here with you, and I know you'll make her happy so of course you have my blessing." Edward explained and nodded his head.

Saria started to puff out the dress in the sketch, adding a soft puff to the hips. Too much puff would ruin the dress in her opinion, perhaps a medium added to it better. She turned the sketch around to show Contessa once more. "Something like this? Too much puff would make your hips look a lot bigger then we would want. This medium amount would look lovely on you darling." She smiled sweetly. Contessa was so shy it was rather cute, completely different than her normal customers. Rosa just nodded to Grace's words to her daughter. "I completely agree. You are going to make a beautiful bride." Saria happily smiled, she would agree with them. "Will you be doing your daughter's hair for the wedding?" She asked Grace curiously.

Daylen smiled softly at Edward. He was glad that Contessa was happy, he really liked her as well. Sirus tended to point that out to her every chance he got. "Thank you." Daylen softly replied to the blessing. Sirus giggled at Edward's words. "Both of them are shy, it's cute to watch them together." He said with a large smile. Daylen just looked at his brother plainly. "Only time they're not shy around each other is when he is working. He is even teaching her how to make tonics for her plants, also helping her make a watering system for her garden; of course she is helping." Sirus said playfully. Daylen smiled lightly. "She does seem to like watching me work." He spoke softly as always.

Contessa nodded and looked at the sketch, "I like that." she said softly and blushed at Rosa's words. "Thank-you." she said shyly. "I really do like the way the dress is turning out." she said to the seamstress. Grace looked over at Rosa and smiled. "Yes I will. I'm hoping I do a good job. Did you have something in mind?" she asked politely. Carolyn yawned cutely in her mother's arms and looked over at Contessa. "Too much puff I think would make it hard to walk around." Contessa pointed out. Medium puff was perfect. Not too puffy and not too plain.

"Well communication is key in any relationship. You shouldn't be afraid to talk to her, she doesn't really talk unless she knows the person." he said easily and chuckled. "That's really nice of you Daylen." Edward said and nodded. "Yes, she does love watching people work. I believe it stemmed from watching me work on her arm." Edward explained. "Even now, she likes to come to me just so that I can check out her arm and make sure it's okay. Even though her arm is perfectly fine, I brush it up a bit just for fun." he commented. "I'm happy to know that you two are spending some time together, it really does make her happy you know." Edward stated softly.

Saria frowned lightly. "Darling you're suppose to love the dress, after all. You only get married once." She said flipping the sketch back around, she was eyeing it to see what she could change to help Contessa absolutely love it. She altered the fluff around the hips to better layer it. A simple pull of thread could help ruffle around the hips and add a better flow to the gown. "Perhaps this is better to your liking?" She asked turning the drawing to Contessa. She really did hope the dress would be to her liking, but if not she could always have her flip through the books and show her the bottom she liked the best. Rosa lightly shook her head. "Oh no, I was just wondering. My mother did my hair at my wedding, I just wanted to know if you planned to do the same." She replied sweetly. "I was actually in your shoes once sweety. I didn't know my son's father before I married him." She spoke softly with a smile. "My mother-in-law bought my wedding dress as her's did as well, I figured I would keep the tradition." She said in her loving tone, she actually loved how her mother-in-law was so kind to her. She wanted to be the same way, it wasn't easy marrying into a family you knew nothing about. She knew from experience.

Sirus just nodded in agreement. Daylen just wasn't really talkative unless it was about work, but even then he wasn't. They smiled hearing how she was with her father. He wouldn't want to replace that. Hopefully she would still let her father check out her arm every now and then. "Daylen never been talkative, he locked himself away from the world and I guess his desire to connect with people died from neglect." Sirus said laughing as he placed his arm over his twin's shoulder. Daylen just looked at Sirus and pulled away. He didn't like to be touched for obvious reasons but that never stopped Sirus. "I enjoy the time I have with her." Daylen said softly only to hear Sirus chirp with excitement. "I knew it! You like Miss Contessa!" He said teasing his brother like a teenage boy who just discovered girls.

Contessa felt bad when she saw the woman frown and looked over at the sketch, "That's quite lovely." she said softly and smiled. "I'm sorry if I upset you earlier. I didn't hate it I promise." she said quickly. "This is all just a lot to take in. I'm really excited though, don't get me wrong." Contessa explained. Grace smiled. "Your marriage was also an arranged one?" she asked curiously. "When I announced that I was to marry my husband, my parents weren't too pleased. They always said I could do better, that I deserved better. It didn't matter to me, I was stubborn but I wouldn't change anything about it." she explained and sighed happily.

Edward smiled at their interaction, he could now see why Contessa enjoyed being here. They were very kind people, and he felt terrible for thinking of them as cruel. "Well I understand, some men prefer to focus on their work which is perfectly fine. I love to focus on my work too, but I still spend time with my family. It's good to talk now while you can because once children are in the picture, you really don't have as much time together as you'd like." Edward informed honestly and nodded. "And she enjoys the time she spends with you. You should have seen how happy she was when she talked about you the first day she visited you. I don't think I've seen her smile that big before." he pointed out.

Saria just smiled at Contessa. "Oh darling you didn't upset me, I'm just trying to make you the perfect dress." She said sweetly. "Perhaps it will be better once I make it. Drawings never really bring out the beauty of the design." The seamstress softly said, she enjoyed sewing and it wouldn't take too long to actually make the dress if she pulled in all nighters. She looked at the drawing some more, calculating on how long it would take. "It should take two days at the most to make." With her assistants doing the basics and her on details it wouldn't take that long. Rosa nodded softly to Grace. "Yes. Your daughter is rather lucky, you met Daylen and have a chance to know him. I only met Dorian, my late husband on the wedding day. Oh my nerves would not settle down, such an awful feeling but he turned out to be the love of my life." She really did love him, Rosa missed him terribly. She smiled hearing Grace's story. "Oh, I can just imagine. Hearts are a stubborn thing to change." She laughed lightly, took a while to realize that when she swore to hate Dorian but found herself falling in love with him instead.

Daylen just shook his head lightly at Edward. "I don't hide from the world to bury myself in work." He lifted up his right hand in front of himself. Daylen just looked at his hand, violently it combusted into a extremely hot flames forcing Sirus back away from the heat. Sirus just watched as his brother's sleeve instantly turned into ash and falling to the floor, the burnt cloth stopped at his elbow. He extinguished the flame and softly sighed. "I hide because it is safer for everyone if I do." He said softly, he love solitude. Daylen had became use to it that he felt unwelcomed when he was around anyone other than Sirus and his mother. Daylen lightly blushed at hearing about children, he liked her but he wasn't sure they would even have any. He remembered the pain he felt when he killed his father, he didn't even want to imagine how it would feel if he slipped and did the same thing to his child. Sirus frown as if knowing his brother's thought. "I don't think children is a good topic to have right now." He said softly, he rarely used this tone but felt that his normal one wouldn't fit the sentence very well. Sirus just looked at Edward, he nodded to let him know why later. Both had ignored his last statement for obvious reasons.

"Two days?" she repeated, obviously surprised and rubbed the side of her head where her new eye was aching slightly. "That's really fast! Are you sure you can get it all done in just two days?" she asked honestly curious as to how someone could make a dress and veil in just two days. She needed to get some sleep too right? She couldn't stay up all the time and work, that wasn't the healthy thing to do. "I don't really know him all that well, but he's been kind to me." Contessa said softly and looked at the lovely sketch of what would soon be her dress. I sure hope Daylen likes it. I know it shouldn't matter, but to me it does. I'd feel terrible if he didn't like it. she thought to herself. Grace nodded, "Yes they are. The heart does as it pleases and no one, not even the person themselves can change its mind. Funny how the heart works isn't it?" she said softly.

When he saw the flames, Edward gasped softly and frowned. Daylen could very well hurt Contessa if he wanted to, he just hoped that he didn't hurt her at all. If he could cause flames to appear in his calm state, what would he do if he was seriously angered? The thought worried him greatly but he decided not to worry about it at the moment. Contessa was a smart girl and wouldn't think of ever upsetting anyone. "I apologize if I have offended you in any way." he said quietly when Sirus said it was best not to speak of children. He wondered how the girls were doing and wondered if Carolyn was behaving since she could be a little restless at times.
