"You're terrible," Cameron said, grinning. "You really are. You are entirely too rich for your own good."

Tony grinned and winked at her. "It's good for the soul, or something."

The next few hours passed by quickly and without incident. Tony was having fun, surprisingly enough, given that he usually hated these things. But being with Cameron was fun. Enough fun that he didn't even think about offering to take her back to the mansion for the night.

"Reay to get out of here?"

"God yes," Cameron said, nodding. "I have to get these shoes off. They're gorgeous, but they hurt like hell now."

"Oh I'd say they were worth it," Tony said lightly, admiring the shoes again. "The extra inches suit you."

"They make me as tall as you are," Cameron said, grinning a bit. "I have to give them that."

Tony grinned. "My height is a good height," he said, sliding his arm around her waist.

"I can't argue with that one," Cameron replied, leaning against him a bit. She'd definitely had more than enough champagne over the course of the evening.

"Come on, out we go. The car's waiting for us." Tony kept her upright, walking with her slowly out to the car.

"Right," Cameron said. She glanced at him. "I can walk, you know. I just have too--" Reaching down, she took her heels off. "--Get rid of these."

"Hey, you were leaning," Tony said with a shrug. "I wasn't going to just shove you upright, I'm not that big an ass."

"Thanks, but I'm fine," Cameron replied. She hadn't had that much to drink, really. At least, she thought not. "You said something about a car?"

"We're walking to it, or we were until you stopped." Tony grinned. "Come on, let's go." He did keep his arm around her, to make sure she was really okay and keep her with him.

Cameron got all the way out to the car, and fell into the seat with a groan.

"God my feet hurt," she muttered. "I don't know how Pepper and Sabine wear these things all the time."

"Practice helps, apparently." Tony shrugged, settling in next to her. "Ask Pep for suggestions, she does this all the time."

"I can walk in them fine," Cameron protested. "They just hurt after a while. Come on, you know physics, lots of mass, small point of contact, a lot of pressure, means my feet are killing me."

"Yes, but again, Pepper wears heels like that all the time." Tony shrugged.

"She must be used to them," Cameron said. She settled in a bit closer to him. "I used to have myself trained into heels. I fell out of the habit. Need to train myself into them again."

Tony snorted. "Well, fortunately for you, I know where to get all the best heels, now." He didn't even think twice when he had the limo deliver them to the tower.

"I bet you do," Cameron replied. She didn't even notice that they weren't headed in the direction of the mansion.

Tony grinned and opened the door once they were parked. "Alright, let's get you inside."

"Having me stay over tonight?" Cameron asked as she grabbed her shoes again. No way she was going to put them back on, not tonight.

"It's a lot closer than the mansion is," Tony said with a little shrug. "Figured you might appreciate that."

Cameron had to admit, he was kind of right.

"It'll be nice to settle in," she admitted. She grinned a bit. "Though it'll be a shame when you change out of that suit, it looks good on you."

Tony grinned. "I'll remember you like this one," he said. "If you're lucky, next time I'll let you pick one out for me." He wasn't even just flirting with that one.

"Don't say that, I'm no good at dressing other people," Cameron said as she ended up following him to his floor. It hadn't even occurred to her to find a room on the guest floor.
