Sabine looked at him for a few moments. "What options do I have?" she asked quietly. He at least would give her a serious and sincere answer.

"Ideally, I would like to set up a regimen for you as I did with Jean," Charles said. "In order for you to embrace and control your gift. Of course, you are more than welcome to stay here as long as you like, regardless of whether or not you are actively training." He looked at her. "That would be the option I suggest. Your other choices would be to do nothing, which I do not recommend at all, or to study what was done to you in order to undo it. I would also advise against that course of action; we have no way of knowing if it is even possible to reverse it, or what it would do to you to try."

Sabine nodded. That all sounded sensible, and she knew it would be difficult to undo whatever was done. "Right," she agreed. "Working with Jean is probably the best option."

Charles nodded.

"Alright," he said. "You'll work with me, first, so that I can get an idea of your new gift." He quirked a bit of a smile. "Jean has her hands full with Cameron and Tony, recently."

Sabine smiled, amused and relieved about that. "They're both okay?" She asked quietly. "And Pepper, do you know if she's holding up?" She'd certainly never had such an unexpected absence before.

"They're fine," Charles replied, nodding. "They are understandably worried about you. And I believe Ms. Potts has everything well in hand."

"Good." Sabine relaxed a little at that. "That's good." She was quiet for a few moments, looking at him. "So, honestly, what are the odds I can get this under control and get back to what passes for normal for me?"

"Well, that depends on you," Charles replied. "Though I will warn you, a gift like yours can be a difficult one to control quickly."

"That I figured." Sabine huffed a bit. "Alright. Training and then we'll see how things go." She already felt a bit steadier with a plan in mind and knowing that at least she'd have help.

Charles nodded.

"Then I will let you settle in, for now," he said. "Get some rest. I will see about creating a training regimen for you."

"Thank you," Sabine murmured, smiling a bit.

A few weeks later, she had settled into her new routine, and was working hard on her training. She really did want to get back to work, after all, and see if she could get back to normal. But there were so many distractions and people always coming and going from the mansion that it was hard, and she was starting to get frustrated.

Logan could see how frustrated she was getting and decided to take things into his own hands.

"Hey," he said to her. "Pack a bag. Give yourself enough for a week. We're gettin' out for a while."

Sabine blinked, taken aback. "Out where?" She asked, though she wasn't arguing. "How warm should I pack?"

"You'll want a jacket," Logan replied. "We're gonna get away from people for a bit."

Sabine eyed him for a moment before she nodded and went to go pack a bag. She did make sure to pack some warmer clothes too, just in case.

Once she was packed, she went to go find Logan again.

Logan was already out in the garage, strapping his own pack onto the motorcycle. He glanced over when he heard Sabine coming back out.

"Ready to go?" he asked.

"Yeah." Sabine settled her bag with his, glancing back inside as a strong surge of emotion from someone caught her attention. She made a noise, frustrated with herself.

Logan nodded and strapped her bag down.

"Get on," he said, already getting on the bike himself.

Sabine only hesitated for a moment before she got on behind him, grabbing the back of his jacket.

"Hang on," Logan instructed. He revved the engine, and then gunned it, heading towards one of his preferred camping grounds.

Sabine squeaked and promptly gave up on dignity and cling to him instead.

Logan smirked a bit when he felt her grab on. He had no complaints about that what so ever.

It took a good couple of hours (and one stop to refuel) before he found a good spot for them to stop. There was an old hunting shack way out in the woods, with the barest hint of a path leading to it, but it as one he'd used for ages so he knew it would work.

"Dare I even ask what state we're in?" Sabine joked as she got off the motorcycle, looking around. But she was slowly relaxing; she couldn't even feel another person way out here besides the two of them.

"We're still in state," Logan said as he parked the bike and unstrapped their bags. He covered the bike with a tarp and headed to unlock the hunting shack. "Nothin' out here but us and the wilderness, so you can take yer time and relax."

"I noticed." But Sabine smiled as she followed him inside, looking around. "I don't think I've been this far away from the city since the mansion was attacked."
