"Okay." Sabine took a slow breath. "Well, whether he wants it or not, it's still your choice, and you've got plenty of willing helpers here."

"I haven't been able to face him," Cameron said. "He must think I hate him, by now, but I just... I can't tell him, not right now."

"That's fine," Sabine agreed quietly. "You need time to adjust first, and figure out how you feel about all of this. And about him."

"Yeah," Cameron said, sitting down on the bed. "Yeah." She bit her lip. "I'm scared. Of a lot of things."

"I'm not surprised." Sabine sat next to her after a moment, still frowning. "That's kind of a lot to have happened in like a month."

Cameron leaned against her.

"I didn't mean to spring this on you as soon as you got back," she said. "Guess I've been in my own head for a while."

"It's okay," Sabine told her, wrapping an arm around her. "It's fine, I promise. I'm glad you're at least talking about it and not just stuffing it all down to deal with later."

"Looks like you're going to be Auntie Bee," Cameron said, smiling just a little. She sighed. She needed to figure out what she still needed do, but first she just wanted to take some time and relax and get used to things.

Sabine snorted quietly but didn't actually protest. Instead, she just took the time to relax and get used to the idea as well.

"So how was your time away?" Cameron finally asked after a few moments of quiet. "I never did ask about that."

Sabine grinned and ducked her head a bit. "A lot better than yours," she said. "There was quite a bit of quiet, quality time."

Cameron blinked and then grinned, sitting up straight to look at her.

"Quality time with Logan?" she teased.

Sabine blushed. "Yeah," she agreed with a little grin. "Actually. There was a bit of that."

"More than a bit, judging from how much you're blushing," Cameron teased. "So what happened?"

"Basically, he dragged me out to a cabin in the middle of nowhere because I was getting overwhelmed," Sabine said with a shrug. "Things just kind of... happened from there."

"And he took care of you?" Cameron asked. She grinned a bit. "Because personally, I don't want to have to try to threaten Logan, that's just not something that would end well."

"No, it really won't," Sabine said with a grin. "No threatening necessary, I promise. He was attentive."

"Good," Cameron said. "And you're doing better now?"

"I am. I mean, we just got back, so we'll see how long this lasts, but. For now, yeah." Sabine smiled a bit.

"Good," Cameron said. "I'm glad you're doing better."

Sabine smiled a bit. "Yeah," she agreed quietly. "Definitely better. I think it'll be a while though before I'm ready to go back to work."

"Somehow I doubt Pepper will mind," Cameron said. "She's been checking in regularly to keep up with your progress."

"That does not surprise me," Sabine said with a bit of a grin. "In the least. She's very hands-on with certain things."

"She really is," Cameron said. "It's kind of scary how on top of things she is." She made a small noise. "I don't even want to think about what will happen if she finds out I'm having Tony's baby." She paused, as if saying it out loud made it really sink in. "Oh god I'm going to have Tony's baby."

"Don't think about it," Sabine advised. "Besides, Pepper will support whatever decision you end up making, and will probably shower you in gifts and scary efficiency." She grinned.
