Tony smiled a bit at that and returned the kiss. "Better?" he murmured.

"Better," Cameron replied. She sighed and rubbed her stomach a little as she started to relax.

Tony settled his arms around her, just settling in there. Cautiously, he set one hand on her stomach, rubbing gently to try and help her relax.

Cameron let him, snuggling closer. She put her hand on top of his.

"Not much there yet," she murmured.

"Not yet," Tony murmured. "It'll happen though, in time." He grinned, settling in closer to her. "And now I'll get to watch it happening."

Cameron raised an eyebrow.

"What, you're looking forward to seeing your kid make me huge?" she teased, grinning.

"Yes," Tony replied, look her. "Yes, I actually am."

"Really?" Cameron asked, propping herself up and looking at him. "I would have thought you would just put up with it until the baby is born."

Tony opened his muth, shut it again, and then started over.

"It's a new idea for me, but it's not an unpleasant one. I don't think I'll just be putting up with any part of this."

Cameron studied him, and then settled back in.

"Alright," she said. She kissed him again. "I'm sorry I avoided you for so long. I was just afraid. But I did miss you."

"Yeah, well, I can understand why you did," Tony said quietly. "Just... talk to me. That's all." He kissed the top of her head.

Cameron smiled and snuggled closer. It was nice, having the quiet time with him.

Meanwhile, Logan had arrived at the tower. He parked his bike outside, and went in. Time to get Sabine and take her back home.

Jarvis pinged Tony when Logan arrived. Then he pinged Logan.

"Logan, follow the lights if you please." Blue lights along the floor lit up, leading straight to an express elevator.

Logan did so, heading into the elevator.

"Where is Sabine?" he asked as the elevator went up.

"In her office," Jarvis informed him calmly.

"Dammit," Tony groaned. "I just got comfortable, I don't want to get up."

"Then take me up there," Logan said, his tone allowing for no argument.

Cameron laughed a little.

"Go take care of that," she said. She kissed him one more time, making it linger. "Hurry and I'll make it worth your while."

Jarvis didn't argue. The elevator just shut after Logan, and the button lit up on its own.

"Done," Tony agreed, returning the kiss before he got up and hurried out of the room. Time to go deal with this.

Logan hit the button and waited for the elevator to get to the right floor. He wasn't surprised Sabine was her office; she had been chomping at the bit to go back to work.

Sabine hadn't quite barricaded herself in. But she was ignoring everything outside her office as she worked.

Tony managed to intercept Logan outside Sabine's office. "Logan," he said. "She's had a hard day. Make her go with you and stay for a couple of days."

"As if that wasn't the entire plan," Logan growled. "Move aside, Stark, and let me get my woman. Shouldn't you be lookin' after Cam?"

"She's fine, all settled in and safe, and she wants me to make sure Bee gets out of here," Tony shot back. But he did push open the door to Sabine's office.

Sabine looked at them both for a moment before she was frowning at her screen again. "Busy," she said tersely. Her left eye was still a bit puffy and faded green and red, from what had clearly been a spectacular black eye.

Logan snarled when he saw the remains of the black eye. He'd seen enough shiners to know a bad one when he saw it. Stalking over to Sabine, he tilted her head up so he could get a better look at her.

"Where's the one who did this?" he asked. "Cause I'm gonna kill him."

"Already dead," Tony piped up. "She snapped his neck."

Sabine rapidly went pale at Tony's words. She hadn't realized she'd killed that man.

Logan saw how pale Sabine got, and pulled her to her feet. Time to get her somewhere safer.

"Come on," he said quietly to her. "I'm taking you home. Bike's downstairs."

"Take the week off," Tony told her, gently shooing them both out.

Sabine didn't even have a proper response. She just swallowed hard and let Logan lead her out of her office, holding on to his hand.
