What is the difference between pneumonia and walking pneumonia?

As far as I know, walking pneumonia isn't bad enough to be hospitalized. Supposedly you are good enough to be able to go around about normal activities, but I disagree from my experience. You want to go about normal activities with temps of 102 or higher?

It was. Plus our propane tank was on the fritz so I was taking cold showers during it. One night my temp shot up to 105. I was laying in bed bawling and begging my mom to make it stop.

It really does! I have gotten walking pneumonia every year for the past like 2 or 3 years. That's what I thought this was, but they told me it was full on pneumonia in my right lung. This is actually the second time I've had full on pneumonia - the first time was in grade school. I was on bed rest for a good 2 weeks then and missed lots of school. This time my resting heart rate was 136, which is really high. They thought their monitor was messed up because of how much it was beeping. She took it off my finger and repositioned it, and realized that's what it really was. I had my first x-rays that day, and they were going to admit me to the hospital, but I was getting enough oxygen and my fever was under control. They gave me one of those zpack things and told me to try taking that to see what it does, then we'd go from there. I had actually been sick for a full week at that point, and probably would have been hospitalized if I went in sooner.

Yeah, that's pretty much what it is. I still felt miserable with walking pneumonia, and while it's easier to breath and function, you still don't want to do anything.

Despite me taking fever reducers every 4 hours, my temp was still 102. I can't imagine what it would have been if I hadn't been taking Tylenol or an equivalent.

My algebra for the summer was all online. My teacher omitted the wrong test, so I'm hoping she corrects that. I have an 88.4 in the class. I'm hoping if that is fixed, it will go up to a 90. She kept the grade that was an 84 and omitted the one that was a 92.

I'm pretty sure it's trying to roll your personal number on the current dice game, which is just rolling a 700-sided dice for 422. We're on Game 2 right now. No one has gotten 422 yet. Then, we move to Game 3.

Yeah that is rough. I hated it. I was sick for 2 weeks and still down for a 3 because I was so weak. I would stand up and get light-headed; walk up the stairs and my pulse would be pounding. I was 2 weeks late to my senior year of boarding academy.
