$150 a month?! Is that just for your personal care? I know you can't afford rent or any bills on that. And yeah, personal care items can get up there in cost.

Stomach operations aren't always that successful, but they are risky. I'd rather stay fat or lose weight the old-fashioned way.

Exactly. And when you lose weight too fast, your skin doesn't shrink with the fat being lost, so you have to have an additional surgery for skin removal.

Sometimes, even if you lose weight naturally, the skin doesn't shrink. In that case, I definitely support them getting surgery to have the excess skin removed.

Yeah. It depends on how much the skin has been stretched and how much elasticity has been lost. But it's more likely to be needed in rapid weight loss than a more natural pace.

Yeah. It seems unfair. I saw one documentary where a woman had lost a lot of weight but was unable to get the skin removal done, and she said she wished she hadn't lost weight because of how she looks now with all the excess skin hanging.
