To be honest i'm at a bit of a low right now. No job, living back at the parents at 26, partners ex wife hates me, mums sick etc. Spose it could be worse though. Only way is up righttt?

I hope your mom's being sick isn't serious. As for the partners ex-wife goes, let her stew. Most folks have only themselves to blame for their problems.

More of a pain issue than anything. I wish i could make her comfortable but i can't D=

the ex wife hasn't let him see his kids for the last few weekends, i hope it's not a ploy to make him choose (obviously i know what the choice would be), but she seems to be using the kids to start arguments. I wish i knew what the kids thought to not seeing their dad these last few weeks. Its Xmas soon. She's being irrational and mean. But hey, i'm staying out of it as much as i can, had a great time with them last time so i can't imagine they went back saying i was being mean or anything.

I'm just the one telling him to just keep trying to contact her, don't leave it much longer, and get them some presents so you have an excuse to visit even if she says no. Or get the law involved to get his visitation rights sorted. Poor kids.

It's sad really. Cause i really wanted to get on with her. But all of a sudden she's flipped.

I'm not working at the moment and she's a single mum. I've offered time and time again to watch them for a bit while she works or take them out till their dad finishes work but she went mad last time they were left with me. Suppose i should respect her for being over protective. But if she gave me a chance and spent some time talking to me she's soon realise i'm a good person and i'm not trying to drag nath away from his kids. She's doing that herself!

Your details of this situation causes me to believe that the ex wife doesn't want her kids becoming attached to you nor does she wish to be completely detached from her now ex. Unfortunately, the children have become pawns in this sordid affair.

In the United States, as far as I know, children can choose which parental unit they wish to live with upon reaching the age of 13. Something to consider.
