yay youtube! i get lost on there so i try not to go on there unless i'm not doing anything else or i'll never get anything else done...
I'm generally good, but today i'm staying home sick from work (i work 12 hour night shifts on the weekends).
Yeah, i've essentially been gone for close to a year. my last post was in february but it was only in a roleplay. and i was essentially gone from any other threads before that. I had my boyfriend move up to idaho to live with me in november last year so i've been busy with him. We actually recently (like last week) decided that we're going to move to florida so he can be with his family again and so i can get to know them a little bit better before he proposes or, if he decides to do that quickly, before he and i get married. we're in that stage in our relationship that he has the ring and it's going to happen, i just don't know when.
I love youtube I am subscribed to about 400 channels. Mainly official youtubes where MVs and concert stuffs are posted for Jpop idol groups / bands. It's a passion! Also some Kpop and a little Thai/Mandopop. I check my subscriptions daily, as well as a few websites weekly to stay on top of the latest MV releases and Jpop news.
Oh wow, 12 hours can be yuck on a regular basis, worse when you're not feeling good. I usually work 9 hours days, by choice, cause I'm allowed overtime. Sometimes I will work 8 or 8.5 and then a 10 hour day in the week. I mix it up Feel better soon!
Welcome back!! I've been a spotty Mene participant for the last couple years. I pop on for the majority of events, unless I forget. I'm still on since we recently finished the Celes Paradi event. I might stick around, until the slash and youtube takes me away. Aw, that seems like a nice stage, knowing your man is going to be your man for years to come! I hope your planning and moving goes well! I hate packing, ew. I hope the weather is also good for you during your travels!
I'm totally single and not concerned in the least (> w<) I can be selfish about my 'me' time, basically any down time that I'm not working. Relationships definitely take work and I'm kind of lazy about it at the moment. I'm fine with growing old and getting cats and watching kdramas until my hair goes white.
very nice! Sounds like it keeps you busy! when i go on youtube it's for vlogs and cooking videos. i watch too many of those... i like food. a lot.
yeah... i can sleep at work, but only if my residents are also asleep. but i have to wake up every 2 hours to wake one of them up to go to the bathroom. there's a lot of potential for overtime, which is nice, but it can be really draining. I feel like i need a week off after 3 weeks haha. however, every few months the program i work for does these trips for the residents and it's fun and soooo much overtime. i went on a trip that was a m-f one and ended up having about 84 hours on that timesheet. it was a lot of fun because the place we stayed at was a creepy old supposedly haunted school house. it was cool.
It's funny you should say that about packing... We moved in to my mom's in april from living in a 2 bedroom apartment so most (95%) of our stuff is in the garage basically untouched. so when we move we basically just have to load up the uhaul with everything. The only thing is that i want to minimize before we move so we're going to have to go through everything and have an early spring yardsale. should be fun... i guess. i don't like letting go of things.
i totally understand where you're coming from. And i've been there myself before. But i think a lot of it was just because i really like cats a bit too much. like... if i could afford them, i would have a huge 1 room house (literally one room. it would be a square) and have 15 cats live in it so i could have kitty time all day every day.
Kirin: AHH! Hey! how have you been? i remember your username :]
I enjoy other things on youtube: TeamStarkid, parodies / dubs / covers, MV reactions and flashmobs, etc. I'm not much of a cooker. I like easy and cheap food, like grilled ham & cheese. Being single, I don't buy milk or anything that spoils easily. I try not to make more than I am going to eat, plus maybe one meal's worth of leftovers. Otherwise I get tired of the same thing, since I'm the only one working on leftovers.
Oh healthcare? My dad, mom and oldest sister are in the field. My mom works at an assisted care facility, and my sister and dad do in-home assistance as well as other related jobs at retirement homes, etc. The last two often do overnights and/or odd hour shifts. That's awesome! I love me some OT. I only get about 5 hours a week, cause I don't wanna push it with my employers I work in an office, I love my job! Always learning something new about clients, the field, and/or IT related stuff.
Well that's nice, that a lot of stuff is already packed! Yard sales are awesome! They can sometimes be bored to host, but all-around they're neat. My mom & I love going to them. Everything I own is in my apartment bedroom, aside from my car which won't fit. I let my roommate dominate the living room, it's all her furniture. I have some dishes in the kitchen and then my food, but that's not really material stuff / long-lasting.
I'm not even cat crazy, but I'd like an animal to grow old with. Cats are easy and will cuddle with you. I like kids, but don't want my own. I'll spoil my nieces & nephews. Finding a mate isn't really at the top of my list. I'd rather travel or keep myself entertained. Right now I'm trying to pay off my recently purchased car (>w<)
