You sound like my nephew (who is literally two years old xD).

My mom has been telling me yesterday that he is very fussy and does not like to eat. Not because it's making him sick but because he just doesn't want to. I told her that he might have an issue with food textures, like me.

I can't eat overly creamy or squishy stuff. I don't have so much a problem with taste, as I have with food texture.

You do need to eat though, otherwise, you will lose your energy.

yeah. if she finds a food he loves.
that will be the key to getting him to eat.
forcing him to eat things he dislikes makes it worse.
I am anemic, too, so it's worse when I don't eat.
I don't take the iron supplement then either.
I get such awful cramps it's insane.
I get you with the 'feeling' of food.
creamed spinach is a big NO go!

Apparently, my nephew has got no problem eating at daycare but he does at home. So not sure what's going on there, as I am not present to see what she has been doing with him.

You can always try green, leafy vegetables, preferably in an uncooked state and also red stuff, like beatroot, blueberry juice or even blackberry wine. Those do wonders in keeping your iron levels up.

I had a problem with lack of hemoglobin in my blood for a while now and the above was recommended to me by a nutritionist, as I was also sensitive to iron supplements.

eating disorders stem from early childhood problems.

Speaking of food textures...my granddaughter has always had a problem with custard textured foods...when she was a baby she would gag on the baby cereal if it wasn't made thin enough...and as she got older she would gag on oatmeal.
She is 4 years old, now, and she still doesn't like pudding!
She loves ice cream though! Lol!

I hope Hummy feels better enough to eat more soon!
Does cooking food make you feel hungry?...like the smell of a roast in the oven? Maybe you need to turn on the "hungry button" in your brain with the smell of something cooking in a slow cooker or something.
Do you also take a vitamin D supplement? That can aid in helping anemia.

Oh no! Containers of granite have just been delivered and I need to organize offload. >.<

I hate this part of my job. I can already feel the adrenaline going to my head.

I dread to even think about how many ways someone can get hurt while offloading a container.

I might poof for a while until it has been dealt with.
