Yeah - I just keep hoping she comes back :( I need to have my hummy to geek out about football with!

I've been seeing loads of gnats in my house lately...
And I don't know where they are coming from, or what they want!

There isn't anything rotten in the house, we don't keep fruit out besides bananas...
And I mean, WHERE ARE THEY COMING FROM?!

It's so weird, it's almost winter and they're still around!

I, too, suggest you look in your drains...and possibly the garbage disposal, if you have one.
Also, houseplants can breed gnats.
To rid houseplants of gnats, sprinkle cinnamon under the pots and on top of the soil..but avoid getting it on the plants or their stems...
The cinnamon burns the gnats and prevents them from leaving the pots, therefore they die!
This method worked wonders for me when we had an infestation of gnats...and we never had gnats again!
I imagine it would work if you sprinkled cinnamon down your drains at night when no one would be using the water and flushing it away.
...I hope this helps the "gnat infested" folks!

Judging from where I mainly see the monsters, our gnat problem is more likely caused by bad windows.

You could always put cinnamon around the windows.
