My threads didn't generate much discussion, either...except for 1....and the discussion it generated rubbed me the wrong way....so I left for a while.
The format, here, kinda rubs me the wrong way....(no disrespect intended to Menewsha!) ....Mobion's format was to post all "threads" within your own profile account.... Menewsha requires that the threads be within forums....far away from your page......I don't do "change" real well and "changing " to conform to the Menewsha "way" isn't coming easy to me!
.....But I do check in on my friends when I have some spare, undisturbed time on my thumbs! Lol! !

I do recall that "discussion" and what a lively discussion it was indeed.
And when I first arrived onto the Menewsha scene, I was perturbed by how one wasn't paid gold for posting blogs and that the blogs were basically the red-headed stepchild of Menewsha. When I complained to the Menewshan powers-that-be, the same person you had a frank exchange of ideas with came along to tell me oh so incredibly burdensome a task it would be to police blog content should folks be paid gold the same as posting threads.
When I pointed out that this was the same as Menewsha being hostile towards blogs, I was met first with denial of hostility and then a list of why such hostility exists. My hearty laughs created by her contradictory statements assuaged my being so perturbed. At least a little, and I did learn what I was up against as far as enacting changes here on Menewsha.
The whole discussion reminded of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares hosted by Chef Ramsay. During this episode, Chef Ramsay attempts to rescue a failing Italian restaurant. One of the complaints Chef Ramsay had about the food was that the chicken wasn't fresh. So he and the restaurant owner go down stairs to investigate the source of this chicken that isn't so fresh. Chef Ramsay pulls open a freezer door and finds a mound of frozen chicken in packages just sitting there in that freezer.
Chef Ramsay points to the frozen chicken, looks at the restaurant owner and tells her flat out that the chicken she has stored in this freezer is not fresh. The restaurant owner then looks at the frozen chicken and then looks at Chef Ramsay and says to him with a straight face that the frozen chicken in that freezer is, in fact, fresh chicken. Flabbergasted, Chef Ramsay explains that frozen chicken is not fresh chicken and the restaurant owner once again denies that the frozen chicken in the freezer is not fresh and almost proudly says that her frozen chicken is fresh chicken.
Disgusted and frustrated by the restaurant owner's objection to what is an obvious reality, Chef Ramsay throws his hands up and then pulls them down on his head and gives this look of such disbelief like he has just had an argument with a brick wall.
So yeah, that's what we're up against as far as making blogs relevant. I don't know if it's sad, lazy, or both that the folks who run Menewsha have no interest in making this site more vibrant and making more options available to its users, but I have just chosen to accept things as they are and to continue on the best I can.
And the restaurant Chef Ramsay was trying to save lost its lease and has since closed or moved to another location. No explanation was given as to why, but it would be safe bet to say that the profitability of the restaurant might have had something to do with it.

Actually, communism and anarchy are polar opposites with communism being at the far left end of the spectrum while anarchy is at the extreme right end of the spectrum. The reason being is the varying degrees of government control. The greater the percentage of government control the farther left it goes on the political spectrum. To move right along the spectrum requires less and government control. Thus, you would have anarchy at zero percent government control.
Great examples of 100% government systems would be Nazism, Facism, Communism, and Marxism. All of these forms of government are born from the ideals of Karl Marx and Freidrich Engels and spelled out in Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto published in 1848.
You are probably wondering why I haven't mentioned socialism thus far and that is because communism is but an extreme form of socialism.
I don't know of any governments in existence today that don't have some form of socialism within their various systems of government. To me, socialism is the varying degree to which a government decides how much money to take from working class people and distribute that money to those who do not work, but have become a very whiny and vocal minority.
Good examples of American politicians who fit the bill as being centrist, at least in my opinion, are Bob Dole, Jack Kemp, Lindsay Graham, Rudy Giuliani, and Theodore Roosevelt.
Some fine examples of today's extremist liberal nutjobs include our wannabe dictator Obama, Hillary Rotten, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, Michael Bloomberg, Harry Reid, and Jerry Brown.
A few outstanding conservatives include Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, and Arizona's own Frank Antenori, whom I campaigned for.
America's founding fathers stand about halfway between the political middle and anarchy with a few degrees leaning right.

Yes, I do realize your jokes are intended as humor and that is how I view them. But why miss such a golden opportunity to ramble on and on about my political viewpoints when one presents itself?
I think if I had a race horse I would name it Minimum Wage.
Giddy up, Minimum Wage! Heeyah!
