Maya hesitated again, and then nodded.

"Alright," she said. "Whenever you feel up to it." She looked Colbie over one more time, and then left the room. Now she was ready to settle in and relax.

Steve still didn't stray far from her yet, just wanting to make sure she got back to her room alright.

Colbie stayed where she was until things stopped spinning so much, and then she tried to get up.

Maya didn't mind him following her. She actually kind of appreciated it, if she was honest. It was comforting to know that someone other than Colbie cared about her well-being.

"Careful," Bucky murmured, keeping an eye on her. "Sure you should be up yet?"

Steve didn't go into her room, though. He stopped out in the living room.

"You alright from here?" he asked, looking at her.

"No," Colbie said after considering it for a moment. "But Maya needs me and this isn't going to just go away."

Maya nodded a bit.

"I should be fine," she said. Belatedly, she added, "thank you."

Bucky almost protested, and then stopped. Looking after Maya would probably be a good thing.

"At least let me help you," he said, getting up as well. "So you don't fall over exactly wrong and crack your head on anything."

"Alright. Just let me or Jarvis know if you need anything, okay?" Steve hesitated for a moment before he touched her shoulder, just a light, quick touch. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Colbie nodded after a moment. "Yeah, okay," she agreed, looking a little unsteady on her feet.

Maya nodded.

"Thank you," she said again. "I appreciate it."

Bucky touched her elbow, ready to catch her if he needed to.

"Where to?" he asked.

Steve smiled at her and made himself go. She did not need a babysitter, after all.

"My rooms." Colbie took her time, keeping her breathing steady as she made her way along.

Maya watched him leave and then headed into her room to settle into the bath.

Bucky just helped keep her steady, letting her lead the way.

"Just take it easy," he murmured to her.

"Not designed to take it easy," Colbie said, frowning a little. She wasn't used to having to depend on anyone like this, and it kind of rankled.

"Takes some effort at first," Bucky agreed quietly, just walking with her. "Trust me, I know. It gets easier."

Colbie huffed but accepted that. By the time they made it to the rooms she shared with Maya, she was pale again, and trembling just a little.

"Will you be alright?" Bucky asked quietly once they made it to her room.

"Yes," Colbie said, glancing around. "I'll be fine." She didn't see Maya, but that didn't really surprise her.

"You're sure?" Bucky pressed. He didn't want to leave her and have her get worse.

Inside the obscenely luxurious bathroom, Maya could faintly hear their voices.

"Colbie?" she called. "Are you back?"

Colbie nodded. "I'll be fine. I'll stay with Maya."

She raised her voice a bit to call back to Maya, "I'm in the living room, just give me a minute."

Bucky reluctantly nodded.

"Have Jarvis tell me if you need anything, alright?" he said.

Colbie nodded. "I will," she agreed, mostly so he'd stop fussing. She was fine, or she would be fine, something like that.

Bucky nodded.

"Alright, then," he said. "Try to relax for a while. It'll help."

Colbie nodded and waited for him to leave before she headed for the bathroom and Maya.

"Enjoying your bath?"

Maya looked over when she heard the door open more, and smiled a bit when she saw Colbie.

"I am," she said. She rubbed her belly a bit. "The little one is finally calm again. And the hot water feels really nice." She tilted her head a bit. "Spa's big enough if you want to join me."

Colbie hesitated for a moment before she nodded and tossed her pants off to the side before she slid into the water.

"Does feel nice," she agreed in a murmur.

"Yeah," Maya murmured in reply, closing her eyes with a sigh. She kept absently massaging her belly with her fingertips as she lounged there. After a few moments of silence, she opened her eyes again. "How are you holding up?"

Colbie made a face. "Not too bad," she said after a few moments. "Head still hurts, but it'll go away."

"Just rest," Maya said softly. "Everything will be alright." She made a bit of a face as the baby rolled and stretched. "Oh that felt weird..."
