Maya was surprised when he sat next to her, but didn't move away at all. She massage he sides of her belly with her fingertips as she waited for him to choose something.

Steve settled on a good kids movie and settled in there to watch.

"Do you want anything? Popcorn? Drink?"

"I think I'm alright for now," Maya replied. "But thank you." She settled back, making herself comfortable.

Steve nodded. "I think I'll grab something," he said, getting up. He came back in a few minutes with popcorn, some fruit, and drinks. "Help yourself if you want anything."

Maya just nodded a bit.

"Thank you," she said. She resettled herself once he was back on the couch, and found herself a bit closer to him than she was before. She considered that for a moment, debating whether or not to move away again. Hesitantly, she leaned just slightly so her shoulder was touching his.

Steve shot her a quick smile at that, still relaxed, just letting her take her time and do what she wanted. He did set the popcorn bowl where she could get to it easily, too.

While the popcorn smelled good, the thought of actually eating it made her stomach turn over unpleasantly, so she just left it alone. She did, however, take a bottle of water and sip it slowly.

As the movie wore on, she unconsciously settled closer and closer to him, until she drifted off towards the end, tucked against his side comfortably.

Steve just settled there and turned on another movie, shifting his arm around her shoulders so she'd be more comfortable.

Maya stirred when the movie changed, and opened her eyes. She tensed for a moment before she remembered where she was, and then she blushed.

"Sorry," she murmured, sitting up again. "I didn't mean to do that."

"Don't worry about it." Steve smiled at her. "I don't mind." He was also blushing, just a little.

Still a bit pink, Maya shifted around on the couch a little, trying to get comfortable again. The movement caused the baby to start moving around as well, and she rubbed her belly a little.

"Ah, I woke her up," she murmured.

"Need anything?" Steve watched her for a few moments. "Or is she going to go back to sleep this time?"

"I'm not sure," Maya said as she kept rubbing. She glanced at him quickly, turning a little pink again. "I-I don't mind if you feel her kick again, though..."

Steve smiled slowly and reached over, putting his palm gently against the spot she was rubbing.

"Active girl," he murmured, taking over rubbing the spot gently.

Maya made a small noise of agreement.

"I think she's just trying to get comfortable again," she said. She gave a soft sigh as the kicks tapered off, but she didn't move his hand just yet. His hand was warm, and she was surprised at how much she liked it.

Steve smiled. "Rolling over and getting comfortable," he agreed with a little grin. "Cute."

"Yeah," Maya said. She settled back on the couch with a sigh. "Mmmm... your hand feels good."

Steve shifted enough so that he could put his other hand on the other side, continuing to rub gently. "Better?" he murmured.

Maya sighed softly.

"Yes," she murmured. That felt wonderful, and she relaxed further into cushions and laid her head back, closing her eyes.

Steve smiled and kept up the gentle ministrations. He didn't mind, after all. And she looked about ready for a nap.

Maya hummed softly, relaxing there.

"That feels really good," she murmured. She couldn't help but smile when the baby rolled over. "I think she likes it too."

Steve chuckled. "Well, good to know I'm not doing it wrong," he murmured. "Never done this before, y'know."

"I would be surprised if you had," Maya murmured back. "From what I understand, the forties were a bit more private than now."

"To put it mildly." Steve smiled. "That was something of a shocked when they thawed me out."

"I bet," Maya replied. "Though right now I'm glad you're here and not in the forties. Your hands feel so good." She relaxed a bit more with a soft sigh.
