"Yes," Colbie said after a moment of looking at Maya. She did keep hold of Maya, though.

Steve took the rear, walking behind the girls.

Maya let Colbie keep a hold on her, just walking alongside her. The nausea hadn't completely passed yet, but she wasn't looking around for another trash can, either.

Bucky led them back to the car he and Steve had arrived in, and gestured for the two to get in.

Colbie settled Maya in the back first and then sat next to her, staying alert. She didn't trust these two yet, after all.

Steve drove, because he didn't quite trust Bucky right at that moment to not go to the nearest Hydra base to raze it. Again.

Bucky just sat in the front passenger seat, silent. He didn't trust himself not to go flatten the base again, either.

"I'm fine now," Maya murmured to Colbie. "Wouldn't mind a meal when we get there, though, if we can find something. Could really use it."

Colbie nodded. "I'll see what I can get for you," she agreed in a murmur. "Something easier for your stomach, perhaps, to start."

"Seems like a tall order," Maya teased quietly. "As bland and nutrient-rich as we can find."

Colbie snorted quietly. "This is what vitamins are for," she murmured. "I will find something you can keep down." She shifted a bit, nudging her shoulder gently against Maya's. She turned out to be much more touchy-feely than she would have guessed.

Maya nudged back and leaned against her, trying to get comfortable. In moments, she was drifting off, thanks to a combination of the lull of the car and her lack of energy from the baby.

Colbie stayed where she was until the car stopped. And then she gently nudged Maya awake.

"Come on," she murmured. "You can sleep more once we get inside."

Steve eyed the two, a little concerned.

Maya blinked as she woke up.

"Sorry," she murmured. "Didn't mean to fall asleep on you." She stretched a little and tugged her blouse back into place properly.

"You need the rest." Colbie got out of the car and stuck to Maya's side, though she was tense and clearly not at all sure about the decision she'd made.

Maya stayed just slightly behind Colbie, letting the other asset essentially take point. After all, Colbie was the one in fighting shape if things went bad.

Bucky just gestured to the tower entrance.

"Come on," he said. "Inside so we can get you both settled."

Colbie moved inside, and she managed not to jump or shoot anything when Jarvis greeted them in the elevator.

"Welcome back, Captain, Sergeant. Shall I inform Sir of your guests?"

Maya tensed at the sudden voice, eyes going a bit wide.

"May as well," Bucky replied. He turned to Colbie and Maya. "It's alright. Jarvis is an AI. He can't attack you."

Colbie frowned, trying to match the unfamiliar word.

"Computer," Steve offered. "A really, really smart one."

"Thank you," Jarvis said.

Colbie's expression cleared at that and she nodded.

Maya relaxed once Colbie did, though she still stayed close.

Finally, the elevator opened to the main living floor, and Bucky stepped out, motioning for the girls to follow him.

Colbie looked around rather curiously. She hadn't exactly had a chance to look around last time, after all.

Steve was already figuring out which rooms were open for them and how to tell the rest of the team.

"If I may," Jarvis said smoothly, "there is a yet-unused living floor available for use, since Seargant Barnes opted to share your floor, Captain Rodgers. Perhaps your guests would like that space for themselves?"

"That would be perfect. Thanks, Jarvis." Steve glanced around once more before he nodded. "Alright, this way." He motioned for the girls to follow as he headed up to the rooms they'd be using.

Colbie followed him quietly, already making mental adjustments to her views so that things would fit they way they should.

Maya followed as well, staying close to Colbie. The place was very large and spacious, and she couldn't help but feel like it would take a while to get used to such a huge living space.

"Go ahead and settle in," Steve told the two.

Colbie nodded, scoping out the space and moving around methodically, taking in all entrances and exits and defensible points. Steve wanted to hit something as he watched.

Maya made note of all of the potential exits and entrances, as well, and eyed the huge window warily. Once Colbie finished her initial assessment, Maya cautiously sat down on the couch in the small living room space.

Steve left the two to adjust on their own for now, making sure Buck left with him.

"Know of any bases nearby?"

"None we can reach easily," Bucky muttered. "Why, still feeling up for killing someone?"

Once they were gone, Maya sighed and rubbed her belly a little.

"I'm exhausted," she murmured.

"Oh yes," Steve agreed. "After seeing them? Definitely."

"That bedroom is yours," Colbie said, nodding to the one on the right. "It's plenty comfortable, and you'll be safer in there."
