"You sure?" Matt asked. "I'm pretty sure there's a window seat in the side office, you might be able to catch a nap or something, if you want."

"Is that a good idea?" Kendra asked, glancing up just for a moment. "They might be watching the apartment."

Bianca made an unintelligible grumbling noise at him and flapped a hand at him.

Foggy snickered. "We've been dismissed," he told Matt. "I think she's getting grumpy."

"Keep it up, you'll see grumpy," Bianca grumbled, too quiet for Foggy to hear.

"He'll be quick," Wanda said with a little smile. "If they see him, he'll evade them. And you'll be more comfortable. They won't have any trail to follow. You'll still be perfectly safe, and more comfortable, I would think."

Matt snorted softly.

"Well, the offer of the window seat is still open," he said to Bianca as he headed into the side office again. He ran one hand along the wall, the coffee in his other hand.

"If you say so," Kendra murmured, just staring down into her tea again.

Bianca ended up falling asleep in the corner there off and on all day. By the time they were ready to go, she was sleep-deprived, over-caffeinated, and a little jittery. But she was awake. Which meant she got to watch the very quiet custody battle.

"Matt, you need to take her," Foggy said after he cornered Matt in his office. He kept his voice down so she wouldn't be able to overhear them.

Wanda stayed with Kendra all day, although she did send Pietro out to pick up some things for her.

Pietro did one better. He got the things for Kendra, and he picked up dinner on his way back. He grinned at the two as he let himself in to the apartment.

"Foggy, you know I can't do that," Matt replied quietly. "She's better off with you."

"Where were you?" Wanda asked when Pietro came in. "You were taking so long I was worried something had happened."

"Really, Matt?" Foggy muttered. "She's not better off with me, and you're good with beautiful women. Besides, I can't have her over tonight." He already had plans for tonight, after all.

Pietro quirked a grin at her. "I got food," he told her. "And knocked out a few people. Only knocked them out." He set everything down on the counter.

Matt raised an eyebrow.

"Really, Foggy? Tonight?" He shook his head. "You know why I can't have her at my place, come on, now."

"That would explain why you're in such a good mood," Wanda replied with a small grin. "You're always happier when you can punch someone you don't like."

"Then don't go out tonight," Foggy whisper-argued. "One night in won't kill you, Matt, you've still got some bruises from having the shit beaten out of you by Nobu."

Pietro grinned. "It's good stress relief," he said cheerily. He did set the bag of Kendra's things aside, though.

"Foggy..." Matt sighed. "You know I can't just ignore things, what if something happens because I'm not out there to stop it?"

"I'm sure," Wanda replied. She used a little bit of her power to pull the bag towards her. "I will bring these to Kendra. Try not to eat everything before I can get her out here, yes?"

"Nothing will happen tonight," Foggy said in his endless optimism. "It'll be fun. You'll actually get to have a girl in your apartment that's not stitching you up."

"I won't eat everything," Pietro said with an eye roll. He had the tone of a very familiar argument, though, and he was grinning.

"Come on, Foggy," Matt said. "Just until I'm sure it's safe. Karen will understand." He smirked. "Especially if you tell her that the Devil of Hell's Kitchen asked you to."

"Make sure you don't," Wanda replied, grinning.

"This is the weirdest custody battle I've ever seen," Bianca said, looking between them. She couldn't hear them, but she knew what they were talking about anyway. "Really, guys, I can go find a hotel room for a few days, it'll be fine."

Foggy gave Matt a Look. "See what you did?" he hissed.

Pietro snorted at her and waved her off, getting out plates and things for dinner.

"Me?" Matt hissed back. Louder, he added to Bianca, "It's probably best if you don't, considering that the Devil of Hell's Kitchen told you to lay low. Maybe give it a few days?"

"Well, with your little domestic dispute there, I figured I might be better off on my own." Bianca knew when she wasn't wanted, and really, she had expected to be an inconvenience to them.

"It's fine," Matt assured her. "Really." He gave a tiny pause, mostly for effect. "Foggy's a bit of a complainer, that's all."

"I am not," Foggy protested. "That is slander and you know it, Mattie."

Bianca raised her eyebrows at them.

"You are really not helping my impression of domestic dispute, here," she told them with a bit of a grin. "You're acting like an old married couple."

"We get that a lot," Matt said, waving a hand. "Really, it's fine. It's what we get for both being lawyers."

"Alright." Bianca eyed them both for a moment. "So where am I going?"

Foggy looked at Matt and poked his side.

Matt retaliated with a subtle 'whap' to Foggy's shin with his cane.

"With me, apparently," he said. "I've got enough room to put you up for the night, no problem. Though if you want something more complicated than pasta for supper, you'll have to make it yourself."

"Alright." Bianca was a bit nervous now, because while she'd been relaxed with them during the day, they were sending her off with the blind guy she'd probably have to help if they were attacked. What even was her life.

"Don't worry, Matt's a good guy," Foggy said, going to gather up his things. "You've got nothing to worry about with him."

"It'll be fine," Matt assured her. He could hear her nerves, and even though he didn't think his place was the safest, he would do what he could to get her to relax a bit.

Bianca was quiet as they got ready, and Foggy locked up the office after them.

"Call if you need anything," he told them both. "Or don't, y'know, I've got plans this evening." He grinned.

Bianca snorted quietly, stuffing her hands in her pockets as she waited for Matt.

Matt snorted.

"Tell Karen I said hi," he said. He gestured for Bianca to follow him.

Bianca walked after Matt, looking around as they walked. This was an area she was kind of sort of passingly familiar with, so she was taking note of everything.

"My apartment isn't far," Matt commented as they walked. His steps were precise as he skimmed his cane across the ground in front of him.
