Yeah. But I don't think any less of people who simply don't have the strength to nurture someone so damaged- Its just a matter of accurately assessing your limits and not putting yourself in a situation where you'll burn out and be a second person who needs care.

Yeah, really sounds tough for me. XD I've never taken care of anyone 'cept for a pet. Don't know how good I am at that.. They're still alive and fairly healthy tho?

Its not just a matter of doubt tho. I'm sure I could manage it if I really put my mind to it, but that's the thing. I don't want to put my mind to it. I want to live my life for me, not for the person I'm raising, so its not fair for me to have a child. Not to me, not to the child.

Some people change. I doubt I will tho- The last time I was presented with a child, I shriveled up like a prune. It wanted to be held, but it had been drooling and stuff, so... No.
