Gemini reached over and placed her hand on his. "I understand. But you won't get to enjoy it if you hurt yourself in the process." She said. "I just want to make sure you stay safe." She looked down at her plate. "Sorry...if I seem all bossy."

"No your just worried." Al smiled. "I like having someone worry about me." he kissed her hand. "I worry about you to." he smiled more.

Gemini blushed a little bit. "I'm glad- I mean, I like having someone to worry about me, too." She said, smiling. It was certainly a new feeling to her, having been alone for so long after her parents' deaths.

Al leaned towards her and gave her a kiss careful to not knock the plates off the table. "I love you." he smiled and then went to get the mall. "Junk, junk. Oh a letter from Lori and an invite to...Roy's been elected President!" he gasped then grinned.

Gemini kissed him back, slowly at first, as if she were afraid that he would disappear suddenly. Once the kiss ended, she sat back down, unable to stop smiling. Her attention was caught when he said Lori's name, and the reason made her jump up. "What? Really? That's great!" She came over to see the mail. "We'll definitely have to go! Even if it's just a visit, we've got to go."

"It's two weeks from now. We can look for a hotel unless one of them let's us stay at there place. They'll both be busy though so a hotel might be easier." Al frowned a little.

Gemini nodded. "You're right, a hotel would be easier. Besides, I'm sure Miss Lori wouldn't want us underfoot, after having this long alone with Roy." She said. "We'll have to try and find a hotel that accepts pets, though." She wasn't about to leave Selena behind.

"That will be hard. Maybe Ling will look after her while we are gone." Al suggested. "We can look around first and then use them if needed." he smiled. "I'll make the calls if you want to start figuring out what your going to wear. I know I'm going to need new cloths."

Gemini nodded. She didn't have anything remotely nice enough for this kind of event. "Alright. I'll probably have to go shopping for something."

"Have fun with that. Don't get lost." Al teased kissing her hand gentle. "It will be nice to go home. We can visit Winry while we are there."

Gemini smiled. "I know. I can't wait to see everyone again." She said.

"Do you think Lori is pregnant?" Al realized what he had asked and blushed. Suddenly he was on the floor with a shoe stuck in the back of his head

Gemini blinked and laughed. "If that shoe hadn't just hit you, I'd say it was possible." She said. "I mean, it's always possible. But maybe not right now. It would be a crazy time for them to have a baby, with the election and everything."

Al groaned. "Ow." he pouted at the shoe. "Where did that even come from?" he huffed and stood rubbing the goose egg he had. "Did you know she could do that?"

Gemini came over and put a cool cloth on the bump. "No, not really. I mean, I knew she could do it, but I had no idea she could manage it from such a distance. How she heard you, I'll never know."

"I'll have to be more careful." Al smiled at her and went to make some phone calls to get a hotel.

Gemini chuckled and, after making sure Al was alright, went to put her shoes on and grab her trusty backpack. She caught his attention and motioned to let him know she was going out, then headed out to do a little shopping.

Al waved to her and went back to making phone calls.

Lori meanwhile was stuck talking to the planner who was going over everything that was expected of Roy and the rest of his team.

Roy was standing next to Lori, listening as carefully as he could. He wanted to get everything right, and he couldn't expect Lori to take care of everything for him.

"Thank you." Lori smiled at the girl. She left and then leaned against Roy. "This is going to be a long two weeks." she groaned.

Al finished his phone calls and waited for Gemini to come back.

"True. Things will be more difficult from now on." Roy said, putting his arm around Lori's shoulders. "I promise I'll try to make it easier for you."

Gemini came back about an hour later with arms full of bags. "I got new clothes for both of us! If something doesn't fit or you don't like it, you can return it later."

"Your the best you know that right?" Al grinned at her and took things out of the bag. "And you know me well enough now to get what I like." he held one of the shirts up to his body. "Looks good."

"You better." Lori threatened. "This is important." she smiled. "Mr. President."

Gemini smiled brightly. "It'll look really good on you." She said. "It should fit, I figured out your sizes from doing the laundry." She blushed a little. It wasn't like she'd bought him underwear or anything, but it still felt kind of personal to be buying clothes for him.

"Don't." Roy said, sighing. "I'm not president yet. And even if I get it, you're the one person I always want to just use my name." He didn't want to get his hopes up.

Lori smiled. "You'll get the job Roy your the only one President Graham would pick. He promised he would after all and after all you did fighting to protect the city who wouldn't want you as president?"

Al laughed. "Good thing I don't make you do my underwear huh?" he was teasing a soft smirk on his face.

Roy smiled and kissed Lori on the forehead. "You really are the best." He said. "You actually make it sound possible, this crazy dream of mine."

Gemini blushed brightly. Uh, y-yeah." She agreed, desperately trying to ignore the...impure thoughts that suddenly sprang to mind.
