Lori kissed him back finally pulling away she turned to face the crowd as Mrs. Lorinda Mustang. "Now for the cake. Baby wants cake two...pickle cake. God this child makes me crave the weirdest combinations." she chuckled pulling him out of the church.

"Slow down." Al laughed taking Gemini's arm. "At least save cake for the rest of us."

Roy laughed as he was pulled along. "That just means they'll be an interesting person. Just like you." He said. Luckily for them, Gemini had the forethought to suggest a buffet for the reception, so that they would have a variety of foods for Lori to choose from in case of cravings.

Gemini giggled and ran along with them. "Yeah, I want cake, too!" She said.

Lori entered the venue and headed right for a poor server to demand pickles.

"This should be fun." Al smirked.

Roy followed her, but only after grabbing a plate for each of them.

Gemini nodded, chuckling. "Let's get some food before she eats it all."

"You really think she would?" Al blinked grabbing a plate for each of them. "Better not take chances I suppose." he chuckled.

Lori was grabbing one of everything and piling it onto the plates. She grabbed both and went to sit down leaving Roy to fend for himself.

Gemini shrugged and took the plate he got for her. "I don't know, but I'd rather not risk it." She said, heading down the line to pick her food.

Roy sighed a little and went to get another plate for himself. Once he had gotten his food, he went to sit next to Lori.

Lori was making some odd food combinations.

Al plated his food grabbing himself a drink as well.

Roy chuckled at her. "If the cravings are anything to go by, this baby is going to be very creative." He said.

Once they had their food, Gemini found their seats and sat down.

Lori agreed her mouth full so he couldn't make out a word she said. Finally she swallowed and coughed. "This food is great." she grinned.

Al watched Lori for a second. "Even I can't eat that fast or eat that much at once. She's impressive." he chuckled. "Not nearly as impressive as you though."

Roy grinned at her. "I'm glad you like it." He said. "But try to slow down a little, I don't want you to choke."

Gemini blushed slightly. "Oh, come on, now. I'm not all that impressive at all. I'm pretty average, especially compared to everyone around me."

"I'm fine" Lori mumbled around a mouthful of food. "Besides if I start choking you'll save me." she smiled at him.

"Your better then any of these people." Al assured her.

"True." Roy admitted with a shrug. "But it's better if you don't start choking at all. It would put a lot of stress on the baby."

Gemini's blush deepened. "That's very sweet of you." She said, in a tone that said she still didn't believe it to be true. "Thank you."

"Why do you have such a low opinion of yourself?" Al asked with a pout.

At the mention of the baby Lori slowed down. "Just a couple more months and are lives are going to be so busy we'll be old before we know it." she sighed.

Gemini shrugged. "I don't know. I just don't see what's so special about me." She said.

"But we don't have to think about that for a long time." Roy pointed out. "We can just enjoy being a family."

"Well I see it even if you don't." Al kissed her gentle.

"It will be nice to have a family again." Lori patted her tummy then blinking she quickly placed Roys hand on her stomach in time to feel the baby move.

Gemini didn't argue, just let the kiss happen. This was fine with her.

A look of wonder crossed Roy's face as he felt the baby move. "I...that's amazing. Our baby..." He looked overjoyed and ready to cry at the same time.

Al pulled away and went back to eating humming softly.

Lori smiled. "It cool right? Feels weirder from my end." she grimaced.

Gemini did the same, though she was kind of sad the kiss had to end.

"I can't imagine having that experience." Roy said. "It just...makes it even more real, you know? There's a life growing in there. Soon, we're going to be parents."

Lori nodded "I'll be glad when the baby is here though. I kind of hate feeling like this." she sighed gesturing to her spread of food. "Can we have cake now?" she pouted. "With pickles?"

Roy chuckled. "Yes, I think it's about time for cake now." He said, standing up. He held a hand out to help her up as well.

Lori took his hand and stood heading for the cake. She grabbed the knife "Shall we?"

Al noticed them heading for the cake. "Maybe we should stay here while she has a knife."

Roy nodded. "Whenever you're ready." He said.

"I agree." Gemini said nervously.

Lori nodded and cut the cake taking a piece she smashed it into his face grinning.

Al watched then chuckled. "She didn't cut anyone."

Laughing, Roy took the knife and returned the favor. Then, he leaned in and kissed Lori passionately.

"No, but there's still a mess happening." Gemini said, scrunching up her nose.

Lori shivered and kissed his back only pulling away when Riza coughed. "Good cake." she grinned at him.

Al smiled. "I think it's cute." he admitted taking the plates of cake from a server. "For you." he handed her a plate.
