Roy chuckled. "That's exactly what I was thinking, too." He said.

"Great minds think alike." Lori grinned and sighed. "i'm so bored." she whined.

"You should sleep." Roy said. "And enjoy it while you can. May won't stay quiet for long." He added.

"But sleep is boring." Lori pouted. "I want to play cards or something."

Roy shook his head, smiling. "Alright, then we'll play cards. But only for a little while." He said as he gently put May back in her crib and pulled a deck of cards out of the bag he had packed a few days before.

"Your the best!" Lori grinned at him and began to play war with him.

Roy chuckled. "Why, thank you. Now prepare to lose." He teased. Of course, he proceeded to lose badly from then on, which made him pout.

Lori giggled. "You are so cute when you pout." she yawned softly at the end of her sentence.

Roy blushed slightly. "I'm not cute." He said, pouting more. "Hey, you should try to get some sleep now. It's late." He said, noticing her yawn.

"Hmm." Lori was already half way asleep smiling happily.

Roy quietly packed up the cards and pulled the blanket up over Lori so that she wouldn't be cold. Then, he returned to his seat next to the bed so he could keep watch.

Al woke with a yawn and got started with his day. Since Roy was still at the hospital he was in charge. It made him nervous and scared but he pretended that every paper was just something normal and not linked to the whole country.

Gemini woke a little while later and got dressed, then went about her own work. She had a bit of paperwork to do that day. Before that, though, she went about making a lunch for Al and bringing it to him. "Here. Don't forget to eat, okay?"

Al nodded grabbing for his food without looking. "Thanks." he mumbled stuffing it into his face.

Gemini chuckled. "Don't inhale it, you'll choke." She said affectionately. She patted his shoulder before leaving to finish up her own work.

Roy was up early the next morning, just in time to hear May start crying. He went and picked the baby up, then paused. He didn't know what to do now.

The nurse came in and grinned at the look on Roys face. "You need t see what she needs. If it is not changing then she may be hungry or she just wants attention."

Al nodded and then nearly choked. "I'm ok." he grinned at her.

Roy looked at the nurse, then back at the baby. Giving it a shot, he took a sniff, and wrinkled his nose- definitely the diaper. "Okay, she needs changing. How do I...?" He looked at the nurse for help. He didn't want to wake Lori.

Gemini chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Be more careful. I can't babysit you, knucklehead." She said fondly.

"But that's part of your job." Al joked. "It comes with being my girlfriend and Miss Vice President."

The nurse smiled and showed Roy how to change May. "There. Its gets easier." she promised him. May blinked up at them then yawned softly.

"You do have a point there." Gemini snorted. "But I can't be watching you all the time, so you'll have to at least try to stay out of trouble."

Roy watched, taking mental notes so that he would know how to do the same later. "Thank you." He said to the nurse as he picked May up.

"Alright. I'll try for you." Al grinned at her and pulled her down for a kiss humming.

May smiled up at her father and reached out with her hand grabbing his finger.

Gemini gasped slightly, surprised, but ultimately kissed him back. When they finished, she looked at him and smiled, blushing.

Roy looked down at his tiny daughter, holding his finger with her whole hand, and couldn't help but smile. It was obvious he was going to be a pushover when it came to her.

"Your so cute when you blush." Al grinned back then went back to his work.

May was studying his finger then began to suck on it looking pleased with herself.

Blushing harder, Gemini scurried off to do her own work.

Roy laughed, feeling like he loved the child more with each passing moment.
