Lori finished putting May into her carrier. "Time to take you home little one." she smiled at her.

Al was half asleep trying to finish up the paperwork in front of him. "I hope Roy stops by for his half soon.' he groaned.

Roy stood next to her, smiling proudly. "You're going to love your room. We made it up special just for you." He told the baby, as if she could understand.

Gemini came along right then and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Al, go take a nap. I've sent Roy his half of the paperwork to get done, and you're already ahead of schedule. You haven't slept in days. You're no good to anyone half asleep, okay?" She pleaded gently.

"I've slept." Al sighed but stood and headed for bed to tired to argue.

May stared up at him babbling softly. "Cute." Lori grinned placing her into the car seat. She slid in next to it leaving Roy to drive.

Gemini shook her head, sighing as she watched him shuffle away. "Stubborn workaholic..." She mumbled to herself.

Roy started up the car and headed home, excited to finally have the whole family together there.

Lori feed May smiling when she fell asleep in the car. "thats so cute." she glanced at Roy. "She's fast asleep."

Al collapsed onto his bed and was out still wearing his shoes.

Roy spared a quick glance backwards to see May asleep, and smiled before quickly looking back to the road. "She's adorable." He agreed.

"You know we aren't going to get much sleep." Lori sighed. "Its worth it though." she spotted there new home and got out pulling May out carefully. 'Welcome home little one."

Roy pulled to a stop outside of their home. He got out and started grabbing the bags that had been packed full of baby items.

Lori carried May inside and got her out of the carrier hushing her when she began to fuss. "Look at us. A real family." she grinned staring around. "It feels like a home."

Roy followed her inside, placing some of the bags down on the floor. "You're right, it does. Why don't we give May a look at her new room?" He had to put stuff away in there, anyway.

"Sure." Lori lead the way and placed May down in her crib. She smiled down at her "Welcome home." May shifted in her bed but didn't wake.

Roy smiled even bigger at the sight of May in her crib. It suited her perfectly. He went and put the things away that he needed to, being quiet to make sure he didn't wake her up.

When Roy finished Lori pulled him out into the hallway. "This is so much to take in." she smiled and then pulled him down into a kiss.

Of course, Roy was happy to accept the kiss. He pulled away after a while, smiling. "Let's not go further than that. Apparently, women are more likely to get pregnant right after having a baby." He told her, then sighed happily. "Yeah, it is a lot...but it's a lot of good. This is going to take some getting used to, and it's not going to be easy, but...I'm excited for it anyway."

Lori pouted softly then nodded. "I'm excited as well. Should be fun." she chuckled.

Roy grinned. 'Fun' wasn't exactly the word he would have used, but when he thought about it, it seemed right. As long as he was with Lori, what was coming would be fun. "Let's get our own things put away, and then maybe get something to eat."

"Food sounds great." Lori nodded and put the few things she had into there room before heading downstairs to make supper.

Roy followed suit, making sure to turn on the baby monitor once they got downstairs, so that if May woke up they would hear her. "Can I help you cook?" He asked.

"You can set the table." Lori glanced at him. "and start on any paperwork you have."

Roy nodded. "Alright." He said. Though he didn't want to, he knew he had to start back up at work now that May was born. He set the table, then went to check the mail and found his half of the paperwork. Sighing, he sat down and started it.

Lori glanced at Roy and smiled softly. He was so diligent in his work, of course he had worked his whole life to get where he was and would keep working to keep it as long as possible.

Once he got started, Roy became completely absorbed in his work. Everything else faded away. It was strange how he didn't mind doing paperwork that much anymore. When he finished, he stood up and stretched. "There's not as much here are there should be. Al must have been putting in double time the last few days." He felt kind of bad about that.

"Just in time for supper. Knowing Al he's pulling double so you can spend time with me and the baby." Lori shrugged. "He's got Gemini to lean on though so he'll be fine." She blinked at May began to cry. "do you want to but diner out or go get May?"

Roy nodded. "He's a good kid. I'm lucky to have him around." He said. When May cried, he automatically started towards her room. "I'll get her."

"Alright." Lori started to clean up while Roy took care of May. May wailed louder when she spotted her father arms reaching towards him.
