Roy scooped up his daughter, cradling her close. He bounced her very gently, like the nurse had shown him. "Hush now, little one. Daddy's here."

May scrunched face slowly eased into one of just general sadness. Her stomach growled a little and she squirmed.

"Sounds like you're hungry. Let's get you fed, huh?" Roy cooed gently, bringing May out to the kitchen. "Someone has a rumbly tummy." He told Lori.

May made a face making Lori laugh. "Come here." she pulled her close and with a blush turned away to feed her feeling oddly embarrassed.

Al wondered out of the house to buy a few things lost in a haze still thinking about his work.

Roy smirked slightly and went about setting the table so that Lori could have some privacy.

Gemini went to start making dinner when she realized that Al wasn't there. When she saw their shortage of groceries, she figured out where he'd gone and decided to go after him. As tired as he was, she worried he might get hurt.

Al made it to the store but he started to get things that they didn't need.

When Lori finished she turned back burping May. "Alright time for you to eat." she put May in her swing and sat down to eat.

Gemini caught up in time to see Al picking out random items. "Al?" She called out as she got closer to him. "I'm so glad I found you. I didn't know you were gone...you scared me. Are you okay?"

Roy sat down along with Lori. "Dinner looks great. Thank you, love." He said to her.

"yeah just tired." Al smiled at her. "I saw the cabinets where getting empty so I..." he laughed when he noticed what was in the cart. "wasn't paying attention."

Gemini looked in the cart and chuckled. "Well, at least you tried. I appreciate the thought." She said as she started to put back things they didn't need. "I've got a list in my head. Shall we shop together?"

"Sure." Al kept a hold of the cart letting Gemini lead the way helping her pick what they needed. "This is fun." he smiled.

Gemini blushed slightly. How was it that even something so domestic as shopping for groceries was pleasant with Al around? "Yeah, it is." She replied.

Al let out a small yawn. "I think I'll take a day off and catch up on some sleep. Roy can handle things with out me." he was joking of course there was no way he could get a day off.

"Maybe not just yet, but once they get settled into a routine with the baby, you're taking at least one day off." Gemini said firmly. "In the meantime, I'll help you out with your work. I don't have any missions for a while, so you and I can split the duties. That way, we can both get some sleep."

"Sounds good to me." Al dumped a truck load of coffee into the cart. "We're going to need that." he grinned. "And sugar of course." he grabbed the same amount of sugar along with creamer and milk. "I love how theres more coffee in that cart then anything."

Lori was opening there bags pulling out Mays cloths. "We got a bunch of cute things."

Gemini chuckled. "We'll balance it out. By the way, we're going to have to put the coffee and sugar somewhere secret. Lori can't have that stuff for a while, until the baby switches over to solid foods."

Roy came over to help. "She's already cute. She'll be irresistible in some of these clothes." He agreed, holding up a pair of tiny baby slippers. "Oh my gosh, that's adorable...they're so small!"

"Yes but she's small" Lori grinned and changed May into a cute pair of pink pjs with little crowns on it. "Look at our little cutey."

"Why?" Al frowned softly. "Does sugar really affect babies that much?"

Roy grinned. "She really is a little princess." He said, ticking May lightly.

"It's not horrible, but it's not good for them, either." Gemini said. "It's caffeine that you really have to stay away from. It's really bad for babies, and it can cause things like stunted growth and developmental issues."

May giggled and kicked him gaggling up at him. "She really is a daddies girl." Lori pouted.

Al blinked. "You learn something new everyday." he mumbled lost in thought. "Of course I never had a woman to teach me all about that stuff."

Roy gave Lori an apologetic look. "Sorry. But...at least she doesn't hate me. I was really worried that would happen." He said.

Gemini shrugged. "I only learned through helping women in my village after my parents died." She said. "I'd rather have learned from my mother, but..."

"At least we are in that boat together." Al sighed. "I wish I could remember her more like Ed." he looked sad. "lets talk about something else."

"yeah." Lori was still pouted. May tilted her head and babbled up at her. "same to you." Lori smiled at her.

Gemini nodded. "What should we have for dinner tonight? We might as well pick it up while we're here." She said, not knowing how else to change the subject.

Roy grinned. "See, she still loves you just as much."

"Food." Al offered with a grin. "Honestly I'm so sleepy you could make the worst thing in the world and I would still eat it."

"I'm glad." Lori picked May up cradling her against her smiling. "You are going to be so spoiled."

Gemini chuckled. "Alright, then, I'll just make whatever." She said, grabbing some milk as they passed by.

"And just wait until Gemini gets a shot at her. This child will never have to lift a finger." Roy agreed with a smile.

"This is true though Riza may get her moving." Lori made a face. "We may need to hire a therapist."

"Well, at least she won't have a dull life." Roy chuckled.
