Gemini scowled. "You've already given it to me, so there's no more shock value in that. And saying shut up isn't nice." She said.

"What a strange child." Mustang mused, earning a raspberry from said child.

"She remind's me of Ed." Lori smirked as Ed gave her a look. "I'm nothing like this girl!' he protested scowling. "Know brother." Al tried to calm his brother as he fumed.

Gemini scowled. "I am not strange! And what's so bad about being like me, huh?" She asked Ed. "I'm a good person! There are worse people to be compared to!"

"Alright, settle down, both of you. No one is trying to insult anyone, okay?"

"I don't want to be compared to a girl." Ed sounded like the world had ended.

Lori rolled her eyes a little. "There is nothing wrong with being like someone else even if it is a girl."

"You're so immature! Only little kids act that way about the opposite gender." Gemini said, crossing her arms.

Mustang coughed, trying not to laugh. She had a point- not that he was going to say so.

"Your both being immature." Lori snapped giving them both her signature look then turned it on Roy. "Don't you have a paper to deliver?"

Gemini wilted under that glare, tears springing to her eyes. "I'm sorry..." She said.

Multiple personalities? Or just pathetic? Mustang shook these thoughts away and took the paper. He didn't want to stick around while a little girl was crying. "I'll be back in a minute." He said before leaving.

"Now all three of you need a place to stay. I know Hughes would be happy to have all three of you but I got a room for the boys at a hotel complete with a guard and no arguing Ed." She glanced at the boy who was about to protest. "You on the other hand can either stay with Armstrong which I would not recommend, stay with me, stay with Hughes or I can see about getting you a room."

Gemini looked down at her feet. "I don't want to be a burden to anyone..." She said. She liked Hughes and his family, but they didn't need another mouth to feed. She didn't want anyone spending money for a room for her, and as nice as it was to see him again, she really didn't want to stay with Armstrong. Lori was kinda cool, but she didn't want to impose.

"Well then you can do all my extra errands if your that worried about it." Lori rolled her eyes a little. "At lease until your either accepted or not the test will tell." she grinned.

"If you stay with me you could help with the baby" Hughes grinned.

Gemini looked back and forth between the adults, feeling overwhelmed. "I...if it's all the same, I would...like to stay with miss Lori." She decided. "But, but, I'll come over to help with the baby and visit lots!" She added to Hughes.

"Good first errand is to show the boys to there hotel." Lori banded them the address. "Hugh's will assist." Hughes chuckled "come in I'll show you around the town." Hs was the way."

Gemini shifted from one foot to the other. "I should wait here, right? If I passed the written test, I'll still have the practical test to do..." She said.

"Please Roy will take forever to get that paper to were it belongs. You have time for a quick tour." Lori rolled her eyes.

Gemini chuckled. "Okay, if you say so. Thank you." She said, bowing again. Everyone she'd met so far seemed pretty nice.

Lori gave her a smile before returning to her work.

Hughes too Gemini's arm grinning. "Come little lady let's get the boys to there hotel." he lead the way. The boys followed Ed rolling his eye's while Al just chuckled.

Gemini smiled and followed happily. "I like Central city so far. It's much nicer than where I'm from." She commented.

"Everything seems less shinning compared to this great city." Hughes smiled at her. They left the boys at the hotel then went on a tour of the city a short tour since he had to return her to the test and then get to his wife.

Lori looked up. "you get to move on to the next part." she ushered the girl to a room. "Just show them what you can do but no killing anyone or trying to Ed did that and he was lucky he didn't get thrown in a cell. Good luck." With that bit of advice she opened the door for the girl.

After the tour, Gemini was feeling pretty confident- at least, until Lori mentioned that Ed had tried to kill someone. Gathering her courage, she stepped into the room, ready to prove herself.

Three judges sat before her all with patient smiles. "Make whatever you wish." the woman in the middle sat back waiting.

Gemini bowed politely to the judges- it seemed to be a habit of hers- and turned away from them. She drew a circle, put her hands together, and then raised them. Bursts of electricity followed her hands. surrounding her in a brilliant lightening storm. She directed the electricity to hit several targets across the room. Looking slightly drained, she turned back to the judges and smiled.

"Very good." The woman smiled then turned to the other judges who began to whisper. "Accepted!" The woman grinned. "Lori will get you your watch and your new Alchemist name. Remember to always up hold the laws of alchemy, you get your first pay in a few days." She looked at her paperwork dismissing her.

"Yes, thank you!" Gemini said happily, bowing again before she left. She went back to Mustang's office- which she had already started thinking of as Lori's office- and knocked. She couldn't wait to tell the boys.

Lori opened the door grinning. "So?" She asked letting her in. "How did it go?" She hadn't gotten any word from the judges yet.

Gemini was nearly jumping up and down with excitement. "I passed!" She cheered happily. She couldn't stop smiling.
