May's eyes light up and she started to tell her another story. Al blinked "it's like she's talking." "yep. Babies are smarter then they let on." Lori smirked.

Gemini smiled, listening raptly to the baby babble. "She's just so precious. I hope someday I have a baby just as cute." She said.

"I'm sure you'll get around to it. Just not until marriage. Roy and I may have had her before marriage but we got married as soon as we knew." Lori smirked as Al blushed.

"Where is Roy?" Al asked sitting up a little as a nurse appeared to change his bandage


"At home asleep. I left Riza with instructions to wake him." Lori chuckled. "I would love to see what she does."

Gemini nodded. "Of course. I'm too young to be thinking about that now, anyway." She said. "She'll probably scare him half to death, knowing her."

"I made her promise not to do that." Lori laughed then sighed as her name was called by one of the guard's. "Watch May for a second." she headed out into the hall.

Al blinked "we are alone with a baby." he glanced at the baby who cooed up at them.

Gemini grinned brightly. "Yep!" She said, clearly totally okay with watching the baby. "But she's a good baby, so we don't have to worry too much."

Suddenly as if to prove her wrong May started to cry. "You where saying." Al joked. She reached up towards Gemini fussing.

Gemini made a sympathetic sound. "Aw, don't worry May!" She said, picking the child up carefully. "Shh...tell Gemmy what's wrong. Do you need a new diaper? Hungry?" She checked May's diaper to see if it was full.

As she checked her diaper Mays stomach made a grumbling sound. May whined at her pouted cutely. "So cute." Al grinned.

Gemini giggled. "I think we found the problem." She checked May's baby bag, found a bottle and expertly got it ready, heating it with water from the sink and checking it before finally offering it to May.

May spotted the bottle and began to drink from it looking quite happy. Al chuckled. "She really is adorable...where is Lori? It's taking her a while to get back." he frowned a little at that moment Lori entered looking annoyed. "What happened?"

"the prisoner tried to off himself with a fork...a plastic one at that." Lori sighed a little.

Gemini rolled her eyes. "Ridiculous. It's amazing, the things these people will do to get out of paying for their crimes." She sighed, shifting May slightly for more comfort.

Lori nodded. "I'll be going to work my magic on him. Do you mind babysitting May for a few hour? I'll pay you." May gave the girl a look that clearly said to stop moving.

Gemini stopped moving and smiled up at Lori. "I don't mind at all. I love babies, especially this little cutie." She said. "Er...is that okay with you, Al?"

"I don't mind either." Al assured her. "Thank you both!" Lori kissed Mays forehead. "You behave." she slipped away and headed for the prison planning on getting answers.

May pulled away from the bottle and watched her mother leave. "Uh!" she began to cry reaching after her mother.

"Aw, don't cry little one." Gemini spoke softly, gently bouncing May to try to comfort her. "It's okay little May-bear. Mommy will be back soon, I promise. But auntie Gemmy and uncle Al will take good care of you, okay?"

May pouted up at her then nuzzled her head into her hair chewing on it a little as she calmed down.

Lori tried her hardest to get the man to talk but he just spit at her and told her she would be wise to watch her back. She sighed and shook her head heading back for the hospital with her guard.

Al glanced at the clock. "Lori's late." he frowned as Riz entered she froze when she saw May. "Lori hasn't come back yet?"

Gemini looked up, startled, and shook her head. "No, not yet. We were starting to get worried...why, should we be worried? What happened?" She asked, fighting to keep her tone calm so that she wouldn't alarm the baby.

"She was suppose to be here!" Riza snarled. "She left two hours ago!" she cursed colorfully. "I'll go get Roy. If you see her keep her here."

Gemini's pace went bloodless. "Two hours?" She practically whispered. "Oh God...alright, we'll keep an eye out for her. Give us a call the second we know where she is!"

Riza nodded and hurried back to the capital barging in on Roy ignoring the protest of the men he was talking to. "This is more important." she snapped pushing past them. "Lori is missing."

"what could have happened?" Al asked worried staring at May who had fallen asleep.

Roy stood up instantly, alarmed. "What do you mean she's missing? What happened?" He demanded.

Gemini shook her head. "I don't know. I only hope she's okay." She said.

"She went home with one of the guards I assigned her. She was suppose to pick up May first so when I didn't find her at home I figured she had stayed to talk with Gemini. May was there but Lori wasn't."

"Its hard to keep Lori down. She'll be find." Al was sure no one could get Lori without a fight.

Roy swore, not bothering to keep it quiet. "I want every available person we have looking for her. Find the guard, ask questions. I'm going as well." He said. "This meeting is suspended indefinitely." He said to the people around the room, then started out. "Riza, I want as much information as you can get me."

Gemini nodded. "Yeah, that's true. And Roy will be on the warpath as soon as he finds out. They'll find her real fast with him in charge."

"Yes sir." Riza signaled to the guards. They found the guard near death a block from the hospital. Rosa whistled softly. "What is going on?"

Al nodded. "And whoever it was will really be dead if Lori left anything."
