Adam kept his mouth shut letting Yuna handle this.

Her father growled pointing to her chest.'really then why do you have jewl shards in your chest thats keeping you alive,isee our demon friend had put a soell on it so only she can remove them,so what happens at the end of this,she removes them,and you die?"

Yuna shruged."think ofit this way,once im dead ,i'll be home and will take your place as you always wanted"

"oh,i see",he smirked."then tell me howcome your friends are so willing to sacrfice you for the shards?i saw them leave you for dead when that idiotic demon offered your life for teh shards"

Yuna shrugged."its was the right thing....my life is wrthless conpaired to teh shards,they can be dangerous in the wrongs hands,so if i die to keep them in the right hands so be it"

Adam wondered if this demon was after the shards as well. If so he would fight to protect them and Yuna as well.

Her father sighed softly."your just like your mother",though his eyes were peaceful."why i cant tell you what to do,i ask that you distantce youreselfd from them...the shards are the onlyy thing they care about ....your just a carrier of a shard until this...missiion is complete,then your a liabilitty"

Then with a rumbeled,her father vanished back into the circle...probabley returning home

"You know that not true right?" Adam frowned at her. "Aria will find a way to keep you alive even if it means letting you keep the shards."

Yuna looked to him."I wouldnt want her to do that,the jewl should be destroyed...no mader what the cost",she turned and started to head back for the others

"But your important as well and Aria will find a way. I'm not going to let her. I just found something I love I'm not going to lose that again." Adam clenched his jaw hard.

Yuna stopped and blushed softly turning to him she gently took his hand."well find a way",she said softly trying to confort him.

"I know I have to believe that." Adam smiled at her.

Aria was talking to her grandmother and the elders. It didn't to well if the look on her face when she emerged from the room was any indication.

Haru looked up at her. He had been waiting patiently. "Hey",he said frowning seeing the look on her face.

Yuna smiled and nodded she gently kissed his cheek."Come on we better get back"

Adam nodded and took her hand heading back.

"We should head out soon." Aria stared at the floor.

Haru nodded."right",he said pulling her into a hug.

Yuna smiled as they walked along and then nodded to the house.

Aria sank against Haru's chest and took a deep breath trying not to cry.

Adam headed after Yuna and blinked at Aria.

"I've never had booze before." Aria admitted from where she was plastered against Haru.

Aria nodded. "Lets get going then."

Aria took Yuna's arm and lead the way.

Yuna walked with Aria grinning."this will be nice"

Haru frowned as he followed."..is he...mean and as eviul as the books say?"

"No he just seemed worried about Yuna." Adam shrugged.

Aria nodded. "I hope so." she found a bad and entered smiling at the fox demon who was behind the counter. "Two sakes please." "of course my lady." he gave both girls a bottle of sake and two cups.

Yuna grinned."great!",she said happily

Haru smiled softly."well thats good"

"Yeah." Adam fell silent.

Aria started to drink with a sigh.
