Like I said, mine is three years old. I took a gap year after high school to work full time before going to tertiary and part of my savings went to my baby. "For study reasons".

Aw. is it still being a good baby though? This seems ok so far apart from the windows 8 stuff, i haven't managed to get emulator games to work with a controller yet, but it doesnt seem to want to change to windows 10 so im gonna have to ask the better half to help.

She's slowed down a bit, but her battery life is still solid (I got 2+ hours out of 30% about a month ago) and she still runs Sims 4 and does all the other things I need. And I haven't run into too many overheating problems yet either. Just overall we're still doing good.

If the last one you played was 2 then it might be a teeny bit tricky to figure out but the tutorials are pretty good, and the whole UI is really simplified. Lots less variables on how your sims interact, like they removed "interests" in sims 3, which I think was a good call really.

Congrats hun! Its hard work at times especially in the second week or if you have other commitments.

I remember a 7k or so day too, it was a reeeeealllly long fight scene haha, that ended in romance, obv. It was pretty rubbish when i read it back but at least i got the words down xD

I think mine was about two chapters, but I've written so much I can't even remember what chapters they were . I make a point of not reading back until I've completely finished my first draft.

Reading back is dangerous, it put me off wanting to write any more on it D=

I always just want to start over if I read back, so no reading back allowed.

You people chatting up a storm when I. am. stuck. on. long. outstation. journey?!

Samsung. Wow. Seldom hear about those as laptop. Is it those laptop with keyboard or a tablet?

The amazing thing that happened when I re-read, it can go both ways...
"Oh crap, typos!" as normal as that or...
"Who wrote this? Was it me? How come I can come up with such vocabulary? so awesome!"
8D and that awesome was a positive awesome, sincere.

I've done that a couple of times, reread something I wrote a few years before and gone "Did I really write this? This is actually really good!" Most of the time, it's more along the lines of "Who wrote this garbage, it really sucks." Then I realize it was me.

I'm really struggling with getting back in the habit of writing. Part of it is I'm not sure what I want to work on. I think if I just pick something and stick with it I'll be okay. The trouble is that I can''t pick what I want to write. I may go back to the novel I worked on for my first NaNo, and reread it, and possibly edit it, then start where I left off... But I also want to write a Sailor Moon fanfiction, too....
