"W-well Luna smelled something strange and then jumped out the window and over the fence. She said she wanted to have fun and for you both not to worry. Please don't be mad." Emily explained and frowned. "I told her to get back but she wouldn't listen." she added.

"Let her go." Deuce said and looked at Thomas. "Don't go after her okay? If she wants to run off like a child then let her deal with it on her own. We're not going to constantly go rescue her because she'll just keep running away anyway. Just go investigate what we talked about. I'll stay here with Emily and make sure no harm comes to her. Luna will come back eventually and when she does I'll put her in her place. I'm done being nice to her." Deuce said seriously.

Thoms sighed.Deuce just really didn't get girlsOr maybe it was a young blooded werwolf thing.'alright,i wont take long",he said softly and ran off, he soon came to an hiding spot abd blinked seeing Luna there too watching the hudge grup."Yuna,Dce is really mad',HE SAID AS HE JOINED HER,GLAD THEY WERE DOWN WIND FROM TEH GROUP."you really did it this time"

Luna looked to him."I told EAmily to tell you and him not to worry",her eyes hd calmed down now.'he will hate me ,and he'll go...meybe its better that way...i cuase him so much grief and trouble....",she said doftly.

Thomas frowned at Luna then looked away,not knowing what to say."your a lot more out oing...you just,have to choose how you schoose to be out going",he said watcng thos large pack,they all seemed relaxed,talking and just hving some fun.

Luna frowned a bt.'therea family....just passsing through',she said softly."ive been lissening to them,as strange as they are,they dont mean any harm",she smield and moved awya.'come on lets gt home"

Thomas sighed and nodded.'yeah,might as well egt the yelling over with",eh said and the two went backto her house ,not wasteing time,as they enetered Luna sighed and slipped off her shoesand started to make her way for the stairs to head for teh wachroom.

"Do you think she's okay?" Emily asked. "She'll be fine. She's going to come back eventually. What does she plan to do out there if she's new to all this. I guess she doesn't need a teacher, I guess she wants to learn on her own and that's fine but the way she's doing it isn't fine at all. She thinks that just because she's a wolf she can go around and do whatever the heck she wants but she cant. She is going to learn the hard way just like I did, she is going to get hurt and sometimes people need to get hurt to learn." Deuce explained.

"Do you hate her?" Emily asked. "I don't think hate is the right word I would use Emily. I don't hate Luna no, but I am very disappointed in her right now. I want to help her but she obviously doesn't want to be helped and I don't want to waste my time. From now on she can go ahead and learn on her own. She knows where to find me if she ever needs any help but she's happier here with both of you, I'm just a stranger, nothing special." Deuce said as he doodled on a napkin.

Yuna froze as she stopped ehrslef from entereing her living room.She gave a sgh and entered and was looking at her feet."so,that is how you feel?",,Luna said softly.

Thomas frowned,he wanted to help but knw Luna and Deuce must talk this out,he smiled to Emily."come on Emily lets make dinner"

Emily nodded and followed Thomas to the kitchen to work on dinner. "I think we should make something that they'll both like." she said quietly.

Deuce winced as he stood up from where he was sitting and walked over Luna. "You really want to know how I feel?" he asked and narrowed his eyes. "I feel like I'm just being used right now, I feel stupid. I have been trying to keep you safe but I can't leave you alone for one damned minute because then you go off and do something stupid! Did you ever stop to think about your safety? No of course you didn't Luna. You could have seriously gotten hurt and then what? You want me to keep going after you? Luna I can only do so much for you. If you want to run around and get hurt then go ahead. You are not invincible just because you're a wolf! You're going to get hurt and I am not going to go after you and bring you back anymore. If I do, you'll just go off and do it again. I can't believe you jumped out of a window! What's next? Are you going to jump off the roof and assume you'll be fine? You need to think before you act Luna! You are not a five year old so stop acting like one!" Deuce said. Of course he was angry, Luna could have gotten really hurt.

Thomas nodded."what to make though",he then flinched as Deuce blasted Luna.There was no holding back."waiit what,she jumped out her window?",he said looking to Emily shocked

Luna flinched and hug her head more and more as Duece reamed her out.She made sure to keep the teras in this time.She didn't want to cry infront of him ever again.No mader how rotten she felt abot something.She took a deep breath.'im sorry..i never wanted you to feel used Deuce",she said softly."and no....i don't want you to keep coming after me....i...just want you to do what makes you happy",she said softly.'and its not that i didn't think about my saftey,deep down i wanted to make sure that you,Thomas and Emily weren't going to be in danger,your still healing,and Emily needs Thomas",shesaid softly.She tried not to flinch."as i said...i don't want you,to worry about me,so ,thats why its okay if you wont go after me anyore,thats a good thing.I can grow up,and not be such a child anymore...",she smiled a bit."as for jumping out the window,i use to climb out my window all the time when i was younger....i would climb out to the tree and onto teh roof to star gaze",she took a deep breath and made sure she pushed any ounce of sadness that was trying to shove its way out.She looked to him and gave a true smield,not a fake one,but a real one"thank you Deuce for all you 've done,i really do appreciate it...your a good person...im just sorry that i have couased you so much grief"

"I think a beef stew would be perfect." Emily said and frowned as she heard Deuce yelling at Luna. "Y-yes she did. And then she jumped over the fence and ran off." Emily said softly as she grabbed what she would need.

"Luna, yes Emily needs Thomas but she didn't jump out a window did she? No, because she knows that he will always come back to her and I just wish you knew that I'd come back to you. I know I'm still healing. I left to get stitches removed, why wouldn't I come back? It's like I went to go under some surgery. Jeez Luna you really like to make people worry about you don't you? Or are you just craving attention? If you want attention all you have to do is tell me, although I thought I was already giving you a lot of attention. I guess not." Deuce said quietly and frowned. "Even when I want to be mad at you and hate you, I can't." he whispered and pulled her into a protective hug, not caring about the pain right now. "I guess we're both stubborn...I'm just glad you're safe Luna." Deuce said softly.

"yeash ... that girl",he said and strted to help gather what they needed."you know,its a good thing were Luna's family,otherwise she just may get mad at us for taking over the kitchen"

Luna frowned."Deuce i didnt jump out thewindow because i didn't ty\hink you wern't coming back,i knew you were gone to the hospital,i was worried",she said softly."i just felt...this instink to go see the pack,its hard to explain....",she frowned."i don't crave a ttention,and youv'e given me more attenion then i deserve or that im use to",she said softly."an your allowed to hate m,e...its okay if yo do",she said looking down then blinked when she was pulled into one pf his prtective hugs,making her loose concetration for a moment."um",she blinked a bit.'yeha,stuburn',she smiled a bity."and yes,im fine Duece'

Emily laughed softly and nodded. "You're right. She would get rather upset with us." she said as she started to work on making dinner. "I hope they're hungry." she commented.

Deuce looked at her and kissed her cheek. "You know that if anything happened to you I would never forgive myself." he said to her softly. She was stubborn yes, she made him angry yes, but even so, he couldn't hate her. He liked her a lot, he cared about her too much. "If you want to see wolves that's fine, but at least take someone with you just to be safe okay?" he asked her.

Thomas nodded and blinked at teh sudden silce he took a peek in jsut in time to see Deuce kiss Lunas cheek, he smiled coming back."im sure they are",she said grinning.

Luna face had become a bright vivant red when he kissed her cheek,this again threw her off.'o-okay",she said shyly blinking up at him cutely.

Emily glanced at Thomas and smiled as she shook her head then turned her attention back to the food. It had to be perfect. It sure smelled good so that was always a good sign.

Deuce blushed as he looked down at her and blushed softly. "Well I should get some rest, doctor's orders." he said and lay down on her couch for a short nap.

Thomas smield."i want to eat it right now",he joked.

Luna waited.'right,better not,ignore that"she smiled as he lid down,then when she was sure he was asleep carefuly wnet over."thank you",she said and kissed his lips softly blushing she pulled away and sat on the fkloor next to teh couch

"Well mister vampire, dinner will be done soon enough." she said and playfully stuck out her tongue at him. Emily continued to cook the stew and when it was fully done, she turned off the stove and started to grab some bowls.

Thomas smilrf.'come on now",he kissed her cheek

Emily blushed and looked at him. "What Thomas?" she asked innocently and giggled as she set the bowls down on the table.

tHOMAS SMIELD SOFTLY."NOTHING,SHOULD I GO GET TEH OTHERS?"

Emily smiled and nodded. "Please do. Dinner is being served." she said and started to serve the beef stew into every bowl. It was really hot so they would have to let it cool down. Quickly, she made some toast as well for everyone and set it down on plates by their bowls then poured them each some water to drink with their meal.

Thomas stepped into the livingroom.'psst,Luna,dinner,wake him and come eat"

Luna nodded and gently shook Deuce."De-deuce come on,wake up,dinner time"

Deuce groaned as he woke up and sat up, wincing. "Hmmm...dinner?" he repeated tiredly and nodded. "Okay then." he said quietly and stood up. Deuce looked down at Luna and helped her get up before walking into the kitchen with her.

Thomas watched the two ntere and was just smiling .

Luna smiled as she stood.'thanks"

"Alright you guys. Let's eat. I hope you guys like it, it's something I've been practicing for a few days now when I could." Emily admitted as she sat down.

Deuce smiled to Luna and then bowed his head. "Thanks Emily, it smells really good." he said to her sleepily as he sat down beside Luna.

Thomas smiled.'im sure it will be great"

Luna nodded."yes thank you"

Emily smiled and sat down. "I'm just glad I didn't burn it." she said with a soft laugh before starting to eat her food happily.

Deuce laughed at what she said. "You should be more confident in yourself Emily." he said took a bite of the toast quietly then took a drink of his water. "You have amazing teachers to teach you to cook and you said you have been practicing on making this dish for a while so there's no reason as to why it wouldn't taste great." he assure.

Thomas swallowed."Emily it's delicious. NEVER doubt your self. He said happily and kissed her cheek.

Luna nodded."it's wonderful. Thank you for making dinner"

Emily blushed, "Thank-you all very much. I'm glad you all like it so much you guys. You don't know how happy that makes me." Emily said with a grin.

"See? What I tell you Emily? I can tell that you're going to be a great cook as you get older." Deuce said and took a bite of the beef stew, it was delicious.
