"Fights. They always come after you when they know. But I got used to it over the many years that I've been a wolf. The bite I got on the shoulder also required stitches." Deuce answered.

"Hungry?" Emily repeated as they walked to her house. "Well I'll make you a little something to eat before we go to bed okay?" she suggested and looked at him. "Is there anything specific you're hungry for?" she asked.

Luna looked to his shoulder."maybe t hurts more becauseit was a bite?",she asked softly .She was going to take care of him until he felt better,no mder how long it took.

Thomas frowned."...its a different kind of hungry...its...blood...",he siad softly

"Maybe." Deuce whispered and yawned as he lay there beside her. "Or maybe it just hurts because I'm old." he said and laughed.

"Oh..." Emily started and smiled. "W-well if you really need blood I wouldn't mind sharing m-mine with you. I-I mean if you want to that is." she said nervously.

Luna smiled.How old was he?She looked thoughtful.'i may have a way to help you sleep."may i try?"


Thomas blinked a bit shocked n\by the answer."well,if i do,you have to tell me when to stop if it hurts"

Deuce looked at her and nodded. "Yes you may." he answered and wondered just what she had thought of in her head.

Emily nodded, "I promise to let you know it if hurts." she assured softly.

Luna took a nervous breath and gently started to stoke his forhead.'my mom and dad would do this to me when i was little and couldn't sleep"

Thomas nodded."alright then..."

Deuce smiled and looked at her as she did this. "Did it always work on you?" he asked quietly. "My parents would sometimes read to me before bed or we would just let the sound of the wind outside put me to sleep. But after the incident I would just force myself to sleep. I never asked for help because I didn't want to hurt them." Deuce explained.

Emily was nervous but she wanted to help. Reaching her house, Emily opened the door and walked inside with Thomas before closing the door behind her and walking with him up to her room where no one would see them.

Luna smiled softly."yeah,most of the time it worked....",she admitted."especially during thunderstorms,they scare the heck out of me",she frowned."i understand.But i would hope you would ask me for help...'

Thomas followed her looking around a bit

"They do?" he asked and pulled her into a hug, wincing softly. "Well don't be scared. I'll do my best to comfort you whenever you're scared." Deuce whispered and yawned softly. "I'll ask you for help then." he promised.

Emily looked at Thomas, "What's wrong Thomas?" she asked, seeing that he seemed to look nervous. "Relax, no one can see us here it's okay." she whispered and smiled at him.

Luna blinked and blushed as he hugged her but still kepst strokeing his ehad,she smieled."thank you"

Thomas looked to her and nodded."okay,i trust you",he said and pulled her close."thank you",he said befroe careflully digging his fangs into her neck

"Please don't run off again Luna, I panic whenever you're not here with me." Deuce confessed and blushed softly. He really did care about her.

Before Emily could speak, she gasped feeling his fangs sink into her neck It hurt a little bit but after a while the pain was gone. Emily smiled, she was happy she was able to help him, she would always help him no matter what.

Luna blinked and blushed.'r-really?",shesaid looking a bit surprised."wh-whys that",she said stying close to him

Thomas groaned a bit.He was shocked at how,good her blood tsated,but,he still had contorl.So when he had enough,he carefully pulled away gently running a hand threw her hir."are you okay?"

"I have to spell it out for you don't I?" Deuce said and snuggled with her in bed. "I love you Luna." he whispered tiredly.

Emily blushed when he pulled away and looked at him. "Y-yeah I'm fine." she said and caressed his cheek. "Are you okay? Feeling better?" Emily asked softly.

Luna fce was now beat red,They wer closeand he just told her he loved ehr.It took her a oment to process."I love you too",she said smiling brightly.

Thomas smield softly,leaning into her touch."much better"

Deuce smiled softly, "Good." he whispered and kissed her cheek. "Promise me you won't leave? At least not without letting me know first." Deuce whispered.

Emily smiled and looked at him lovingly. "Don't be afraid to ask me for my blood okay?" she commented. "I want to help you Thomas, I don't mind sharing my blood with you whenever you want it." Emily assured.

Luina smiled briightly."i romise not to leave, at leats not with out telling you or leaving you a note so you kno wwhere i am"

Thomas smiled and gently kissing her deeply.'okay",he said softly

"Thank-you." Deuce whispered. It was getting late and he was sleepy now. "We should get some sleep Luna." he suggested and held her close in his arms, it hurt to hold her like that but he didn't care, he wanted to hold her.

Emily blushed brightly at the deep kiss. She kissed him back deeply as well and ran her fingers through his hair then rested her head on his chest. "I'm happy to see that you're happy Thomas." Emily said softly.

Luna smiled softly and continued to stroke his head.."then close your eyes and relax....im not going anywhere"

Thomas smiled/"its hard not to be happy when im with you Emily"

Deuce did as he was told. He closed his eyes and kept her close in his arms as he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Emily looked up at him and smiled. He was so sweet, she didn't think it was possible for her to ever really hate him, vampire or not. "It hurt at first but then it stopped." she whispered.

Luna smiled softly and when she was sure he was asleep,she stopped strokeing his head and then closed her eyes drifting off as well.

Thomas nodded."it would",he saidsoftly.He kissed her forhead.'ready for bed?"

Deuce continued to sleep peacefully. Peaceful sleep is something that he rarely got, perhaps it was because Luna was in his arms, it felt...right.

Emily nodded, "Yes I am. It's been a long day and I'm very tired." she answered honestly.

Thomas smield a little."alright then,go get changed",he saod softly

Emily nodded. She grabbed some pajama shorts and the matching top then ran to the bathroom where she quickly got dressed and then walked out. "Time for bed." she said happily and climbed into her bed.

Thomas smiled softly at her as he got ready to sleep on the floor."right,it has been a long day ",he said yawning

"Why are you sleeping on the floor?" Emily asked as she peaked over at him. "There is plenty of room for you up here if you want. I mean, whatever makes you comfortable." Emily said quietly.
