"Luna..." Deuce started and kissed her forehead. "I hope you know what happens when I get better." he said softly. He wasn't going to be sticking around here. He was just here so that he wouldn't be alone or hurt himself. But once he got better he'd be going back to his own house and probably staying there. He didn't belong among people, he was dangerous and trouble always seemed to be anywhere he was.

Emily laughed at what Thomas said. "You're right, Luna isn't going to let him do whatever he wants. She makes a very good nurse." Emily said as they continued walking to Luna's house.

Luna slowly moved away."yes...you'll leave ...won't yu?",she said her eyes looking almost herat broken at being alone in the house again.

Thomas nodded."that she does...'he said and slowly stopped outside Luna's home

Reaching her house, Emily knocked on her door and waited patiently.

Deuce nodded as he stood up, hearing a knock on the door. "I'll get that." he said quietly and looked at Luna. "Luna do you want me to just stay here with you permanently?" he asked and smiled sadly before limping down the stairs and over to the front door where he opened it and saw it was Thomas and Emily. "Luna, your friends are here!" he called and looked at them. "Come on in." he said and made his way to the kitchen to get some water.

Thomas blinked."she let you get out of bed?",he said shocked nd follwoed."we bring dinner and pie"

Luna came down the stairts quitely and miled a bit."hey gys,nice of you to visit"

"No she didn't. She got mad at me for making her breakfast. Still, I'll do it again and I will get out of bed when I want to because I need to walk around. I can't be in bed all day." Deuce answered as he sipped his water. "Dinner and pie?" he repeated.

"Yes, my aunt and uncle made them in hopes that you would feel better soon." Emily explained and smiled at both Deuce and Luna. "Luna how has Deuce been behaving?" she asked.

Luna smiled a little.'good,until this smorning...but i can't blame him,he wants to eb home as soon as he feels better",she said caklmly.

Thomas blinked a bit and looked to Deuce.'you know that wont happen unles you get losts of rest right?and take teh meds they gave you"

"Luna I'm sure he would visit you every single day. If not you could always visit him too. We know where he lives so we can visit him too if he can't visit you." Emily said softly to her friend. "I'm sure he doesn't mean anything in a rude way." she added.

"Good until this morning..." he whispered to himself and sighed. Deuce frowned and slowly walked up to Luna's room where he picked up the medicine and sighed. "If they want me to take the medicine now I guess I should." Deuce whispered to himself. Was he being a burden on them?

Thomas smiled a bit and waited for Deuce,letting Emily handle Luna."you know she just ment that she dodmt like you getting of bed",he said from the door way.

Luna nodded and staredo get out plates for teh pies and bowls for teh stew."I knwo",she said softly.

Deuce frowned. "I know..." he answered. "I just.." Deuce started and sighed as he looked to Thomas. "I'm just an idiot I guess." he suggested and walked downstairs with him with the medicine in his hand. "I hate this stuff...they always give me the same one and it always makes me sleepy." he whispered.

"Deuce is a good man, he's just stubborn." Emily said and helped Luna set the table. "I know you don't want him to leave. If you really don't want to be separated, why not consider moving in together?" she asked Luna.

Luna blushed deeply."i wouldn't want to make him stay....",she said softy."or feel liek he has too',she quited down as the boys entered.

Thomas nodded."that stuff never got any better",he said calmly."as for an idiot,your not .Your in love and dont want to hurt Luna..."

"Well you won't be forcing him to sta-" Emily stopped talking when she heard the boys returning to the kitchen.

Love... Was he really in love with Luna? Yes.. of course he was. How did love result for you last time though Deuce? he thought to himself. Badly that's how and what if that happened to Luna?

Thomas blinekd at him a littl.Wondering why he was still distant.

Luna looked to them."everythings ready"

Deuce frowned as he snapped out of his depressing thoughts and let out a heavy sigh but managed to smile. "This all smells wonderful Your aunt and Uncle are much too kind." he said to Emily honestly.

"They're worried about you, just like we are as well. We're your friends and you know you can talk to us about anything Deuce." Emily said with a smile.

Thomas smiled."shes right,even if you just want to have a guy talk",he assured."

Luna nodded."yeah,we all acre,so don't hold anything in...take it from me,it diesnt do you any good"

Deuce listened to them and carefully took his seat after starting to feel week again. "Well...since we're all friends, I don't think I've ever told any of you my past have I?" he asked and frowned. "I don't think I've ever fully opened up to any of you." he admitted.

Emily frowned and sat down to eat. "No you haven't Deuce. Not that I remember anyway." she answered. "So if you want to open up to us right now please do. We're all here to listen and help you." she explained.

TYhomas smiled.'yeha,we wont judge"

Luna smiled."hes right,were your frends and will lissne and still care abiout you"

Deuce listened to his friends and nodded. "I guess I should start from the beginning." he started. "I was a good kid, that's what my parents always told me anyway. Trouble always seemed to find me. In school I'd get picked on for stupid reasons and my friend would get picked on for being friends with me. This led to me getting into fights with these kids. I didn't like it when they picked on my friend, I didn't mind it when I was picked on though. One night I was hanging out at my friend's house but it had gotten late so I knew I had to go home. I didn't live very far so I didn't let him walk me home. I didn't realize there was a full moon in the sky that night though." he said and smiled sadly before taking a few spoonfuls of the hot stew. Needless to say a wolf attacked me and bit my shoulder pretty hard. My father managed to find me, killed the wolf and rushed me to the hospital where I got my first set of stitches. I was young, probably seven years of age when that happened. Since then, I became the wolf that I am now and I could tell my parents were afraid of me but I never attacked them. The months and years passed. When I was eleven years old my friend died. I loved him. He was like a brother to me and the only one who still hung out with me even though I was different. Since then I promised myself I wouldn't love again, because I didn't want to loose someone I loved again. But I did, because my parents died of an illness eventually. I couldn't force myself to leave the house though, I grew up in that house so that's why I still live there. In my entire lifetime I think I've killed over thousands of people. Sometimes I feel like I'm the one that killed my best friend since I always spent time with him. If I really did kill Kanata, I wonder why I don't remember. This is why I don't like being among people. I am afraid of snapping and killing again." he whispered and rubbed his forehead.

Emily ate in silence as she listened to Deuce's story and frowned. She didn't think he'd kill them, he was a good man but she understood what he was afraid of.

Thomas frowned sadlt.Understanding a bit."what time period was this"

Luna felt so sad for Deuce,and understood.Though her heart ached ,having a feeling he'd leave her too.She stood and went over gently huggeing him."its okay Deuce...i understand ....whatever you chose to do...but,i trust you"

"I'm pretty sure this was way back when these girl's parents weren't even born yet. This all happened thousands of years ago. I mean, I'm nineteen now." Deuce explained and blushed when he felt Luna hug him. He looked at her and frowned. "Please don't be sad Luna." he whispered and offered her a weak smile.

"I'm really sorry about what happened Deuce, but I don't think you would be capable of hurting your best friend. You always stood up for him...you really are a kind person." Emily said softly and continued eating.

Thomas nodded."and....your sure he dies....your friend?",he asked calmly.But sympathetically."and Emily is right,just look at what you went through to protect Luna....",he said siftkly."if anything you proably tried to protect him"

Luna smiled a bit."im sad for you,you went thorough so much",she said softly

Deuce nodded as he ate his food quietly. "Yeah Kanata is dead. I don't remember killing him though and if I was protecting him I didn't do a very good job of it." Deuce said and finished up his food and the slice of pie. He sighed sadly and grabbed some more water before staring at his medicine. "You guys shouldn't worry about me, I'll be fine." he said with a small smile before taking the medicine and laying down on the couch.

Emily frowned, hearing what Deuce said. Whether he liked it or not they would always worry about him. "Come to think of it, I'm not sure where Kanata is." Deuce commented. "I wasn't told where his family decided to bury him. I know where my parents are though." he said with a smile. "They're in their room." he said. "What? You have your dead parents still in their room? You didn't bury them?!" Emily asked.

Deuce shook his head and yawned. "No, I didn't want to just bury them. I wanted to keep them close. So I kept them in their room and I only go in there when I want to be alone with them." He said and noticed the look on Emily's face. "I could introduce you all to them if you'd like." he said with a shrug. "I had them burned, they're in urns, labeled appropriately." Deuce assured.

Even Thomas was worried for a momnet and smiled a little.'maybe you shoul have started out with,i still have my parents,thier in eurns in thier rooms'

Luna watched Deuce and froend.She went silent and started to clean up,lost in her thoughts

Deuce laughed, "I know but I love messing with you guys." he replied honestly. He looked over at Luna and sat up instead. "Luna?" he said and wondered what she was thinking. Luna seemed distracted with something but he was certain she wouldn't tell them if anything was bugging her.

Emily laughed softly and shook her head, "You really do like messing with us Deuce. At least despite all that has happened, you're still a silly guy." Emily commented and looked at Luna. "Is something wrong Luna?" she asked.

Thomas just chuckeled and then blinked at Luna."hey,you oky?"

Luna blinked and looked ot the three of them and smiled.yeah im fine"

"That is the worst lie if I ever heard one." Deuce started and narrowed his eyes at her. Standing from the couch he walked over to her and moved some hair away from his face. "You can't fool me Luna I wasn't born yesterday. Something's bothering you and I want to know what it is." he said seriously. Why was she always so stubborn?

"Luna is something bothering you?" Emily asked. "If something is wrong you can tell us. We're friends and we like to help each other you know." she reminded.
