Emily nodded and looked at him. "You do, and there is nothing wrong with that. I think it's sweet of you to worry so much about her well being. She likes his company though and you know that if he ever hurt her she would tell us." she reminded.

"Look, you're not a freak." Deuce started. "I know what happened to you and I'm sorry you had to go through that. People will never understand because they never went through it personally. I haven't been through it, but I know that it must have been horrible and it was a traumatic experience for you. I myself had a traumatic experience when I was younger." he explained and took a bite of his food.

Thomas smiled and relaxed even more so."thats true,thank you Emily",he said happily.

Luna,for a moment was a bit schoked that he knew,but figured the proincelle had told him.Then blinked hearing about his own past and looked curious .she gentky gave his hand a sqweeze,as is saying that hse was sorry for whatever it was that happened to him

Emily smiled softly, "You're welcome Thomas." she said softly and looked at her aunt and uncle who had finished. "I'll wash the dishes." she offered. "No you will not Emily, you need to rest, I'm sure Thomas will agree with me." her uncle answered.

"It's okay really. It wasn't too bad...just really changed my life. You wouldn't believe me even if I told you." Deuce said softly with a warm smile.

Luna smiled a bit.Writeng a not saying,'try me,tell me if you wnat'

Thomas smiled."there right,go rest and I'll help clean up"

Emily nodded as she finished up her food and excused herself. She walked up to her room and walked into her bathroom to take a quick shower. When she was done, she dried off and got dressed in some comfortable clothing before crawling into bed and laying there, smelling like roses.

"Alright, remember how I said that I knew where you could find a werewolf and how I said they were real because one looked at me today?" he asked her and smiled. "That's because it's me." he whispered. "When I was younger, I stayed out too late and was walking back to my house but was attacked by one. My father managed to kill it and I didn't die thanks to him quickly taking me to the hospital. I have a few scars from the attack and now I'm trying to live a normal life. It's hard but I'm trying." he explained.

Thomas smiled as he finished helping her aunt and uncle clean up."there all done",he smid grinning more,blinking a bit at teh smell of roses from up stairs

Luna stared at him,a bit shocked bit smiled softly,and wrote on the napkin that she believed him

"Thank-you very much Thomas." her uncle said kindly. Emily had laid down in her bed and closed her eyes to stop the room from spinning. Hopefully she would be better soon.

Deuce read her note and raised an eyebrow as he swallowed his food. "Really?" he asked her.

Luna blushed deeplyTaking a deep breath she nodded again but this time...,"Y-yes,I do",Luna spoek to him though it was more of low,shy whisper

Thomas smiled at him."anytime",he looked to the stairs then back to them."I should get going",he said softly

Deuce widened his eyes when he heard her. She spoke...she actually spoke! "Y-you talked!" he gasped and smiled. "H-have you talked to anyone else before?" he asked curiously. Was he the first person to hear her after her trauma? "I...I'll stay absolutely calm in my wolf form so that you can draw me. I won't hurt you, I promise." he commented.

Emily opened her eyes and looked over at Thomas. "I understand. Thank-you for all you did today, it was very sweet of you." she said softly as she smiled at him.

Luna flinched a bit and blinked at how exsited he was at her talkig.She noooded feeling nervous all over again."y-ye-yes....mostly Emily",she said softly.

"good sleep well Emily",he said and slipped out and sighed rubbing hie eyes,he was starting to crave blod,this was not good

Deuce smiled, "That's nice. You know you don't have to talk if it makes you uncomfortable. If you would rather communicate through notes that's fine too." he said to her honestly and continued eating his meal.

Emily frowned slightly and watched him leave. Was something wrong? She wanted to speak up but decided not to and curled up under the covers, quickly falling to sleep.

Luna blushed a bit.It was hard to try and explain.She finished eating and paid for thier lunch.She wanted to get to sketch Deuce before it got to dark.She in truth was nervous about talking. After her parents were murdered....and no one would lissen to what she had to say about who had done it,she had almost givven uo on talking.

When Deuce finished his meal, he stood up and looked at her. "Come on, we need to do this before it gets dark. I'm not sure if there's a full moon today but I don't want to risk it." he explained softly and took her hand, leading her out of there and towards the woods where no one would see him. He usually stayed inside during a full moon but if he was outside he was most likely hiding here. "Okay wait here, I'll go and then come back in all my wolf glory. Watching the changing process is painful, and it's painful for me too." Deuce explained sadly and ran off deep into the woods. He hoped he wouldn't frighten her someday. Turning was easy yes, but it was painful and exhausting. When he had turned he was breathing heavily but ran back to where he had left Luna. When he got there, the white wolf just stared at her.

Luna sat down on a rock waiting a bit nervously in the forest.Then blinked hearing a russel in the trees,at first she was worried it was another animal,but here eyes lit up seeing Deuce come out in his wolf form.She was blushing a bit."y-your beautiful Deuce",she said softly.

Deuce barked and walked over to her when he nuzzled her leg with his head gently. She was actually talking and it made him so happy to hear her sweet voice. At least she was trying her best to talk a bit more. He wondered if she wanted him standing, sitting or laying down. He didn't mind, as long as she was happy.

Luna smiled softly t him then pulled out her sketch book. and looked around."hmm"she blinked trying to get the lighting right."here,you lay by this boulder",she said standng and walked over to where the sun set was peering through the leafs,though it was at the edge of a clift,he looked to him and sat down."Ill be careful",she said softly to him."now,look right at me"

Deuce listened to her and just watched her before following her around. Upon hearing her request, Deuce walked over to the boulder and lay beside it as she had asked him to. It was pretty warm out but he knew it would get colder later, especially once the sun fully set. He did as he was told and looked right at her with his dark eyes. Most people would be running away right now, but that would only make him chase them and that was never good.

Luna smiled softly at him."thank you",she said softly and began her sketch,being extra careful to get every detail,when t was done ,the sun had almost gone down,but it looked so real.She grinned up to him."all done,thank you for being so patient",she said happily and carefully stood up.She could wait to show him.Though ,when she stood,she heard a crumbelimg sound.She hadn't realized that the grounds was wet and brittle form the rain storm the night before,then the next thing she knew she was falling. She couldn't even let out a scream,she bagged up against a bunch of rocks,before,luckily slamming down onto a ledge about 10 feet down from where she had been standing,though she had hit her head on the landing and had lost consciousnesses

Deuce was absolutely still as he watched her work. She looked very focused and happy which made him happy as well. When she had finished, he stood up and stretched out. However, he was not expecting what happened next and barked as he ran over and looked down to where she had fallen. He didn't want to leave her alone but he sorta wanted to go put on his shirt. Oh well, he'd get his shirt later. Turning back to his human form, Deuce carefully climbed down the rocks to where she lay. "Luna?" he said and carefully picked her up in his arms. Now how was he going to get her back up? "Have to climb back up.." he said to himself and set her over his shoulder. It was starting to get cold out and he was freezing but he had to do this.

Luna gave a small groan as he had lifted her and placed her over his shoulder.She couldnt wake up,she was plundged into her memories of the night her parents were killed,she tried to wake from her night mare but couldnt

"Don't worry Luna, I'll take care of you." Deuce said quietly and started to climb back up the rocks. It was hard since some rocks kept crumbling and falling off, but eventually he reached the top and sighed softly. Picking up her things, he walked into the woods to retrieve his shirt. Setting her down on the soft grass, he put his shirt back on and buttoned it up then picked her up once again and headed to his house since he didn't know where she lived.

Luna tyed out like a light he hole time,shivering every now and then.

Deuce opened his front door and locked it behind him then walked up to his room and pay her in his bed. He made sure to pull the blankets on her to keep her warm and placed her things by the bed. He hoped this would keep her warm and that she would be okay in the morning. Luckily there was no full moon today so she wasn't going to end up dead. Yawning, Deuce lay beside her and tried to get some sleep, he didn't want to leave her alone.

The Next Day

Thomas sighed as he walked down the street.He was heading to Emilys place early to check in on her.He spent some of the night hunting a deer,glad he had been able to stay in control around Emily.

Luna,around 6AM ,sat up and yelled out in terror ,she had finally been able to escape her nightmare.She made her self small as she sat up holing her head,and kept muttering that she was sorry

Emily was told to stay home that day as her aunt and uncle left to the diner to work. Emily pouted but sat in the living room and stared at the television hoping something interesting would show up.

Deuce yelped and woke up quickly. Looking over at Luna, he pulled her into his arms, holding her protectively. "It's okay Luna, you're okay...you're safe." he whispered softly, hoping to help her relax.
