His boss smiled softly at him."is there something on your mind Ryan?",he asked kindly

"Y-yes...there's something I want to tell you sir. I just don't know how to exactly say it." Ryan said and looked down at the books in his hands. Quickly he put the rest away where they belonged ans sighed softly.

The man smiled.'Ryan,you can tell me anything....",he said softly

"I ummm...I am thinking of attending school and I don't think I'd be able to handle both school and work s-so that's why I decided today would be my last day of work here. P-please don't get me wrong, I love this job. It's just that I think I should move on and try something else. I have really enjoyed working here sir, you have always been so kind to me and I hate to have to do this but I must. Sir, with all due respect, I quit." he said and frowned.

The man blinked a little but smiled."of course Ryan...why would i be mad",he said softly."its good to see your goung to presue your education further,he then blinked as his phone beep,he smiled at it then slowly loOKED TO rYAN."NOW SINCE THIS IS YOUR LAST DAY I SHOULD PUT YOU TO WORK,I have some new books in my car around bacj\k,care ti hekp me get them"

"Yes sir, right away!" Ryan said and reached into his pocket for his cellphone where he quickly texted Damen, I think my boss is going t kill me now because I quit. he sent it and turned off his cellphone as he approached his Boss' car.

Damen sighed.'finaly te test is oveerr",he blinked as his phone beebped and froze.'we have to get to thebook store now!"

His boss followed him and nodded to his driver who opened the car door,then inside the car was Yukina,she lay limp ,blood comng from the side of her head,bruises all over her arms ,one shapped like a hand tround her thought."you know Ryan,the best thing about bneing a crime boss,is you know peopel,who know people,who watch peopel,you,your boy friend and his friend have been keping something from me...."

Temri finished his test and looked at Damen. "Hey what's wrong?" he asked as he grabbed their things and ran outside with him. "You look like you saw a ghost, what happened?" Temri asked his friend and paled. "Oh no...is it Ryan?!" he asked, a little worried now.

When Ryan saw her, he coughed. He didn't expect to see her there, how the heck did he find her and how did he get her to come outside? "I..." he started but he didn't know what to say. There wasn't anything he could say right now.

Ryans Boss smirked.its okay boy",he said pulling out a gun."your a kind boy who,i have grown attacjed too",helooked to the un moving Yukina.'i have grown really tierd of her....this latet stunt though...why cant people just lissen',he then looked u as Damiens Cra screeched to a stop a few feet away.

dAMEN NODDED."HE TOLD HIS BOSS,AND GOT A BAD VIBE.HE SAID HIS BOSS IG\S GOING TO KILL HIM",ONCE THEY GOT INTO HIS car he didnt even say buckel up,he just floored in\t and spead off to wards the book store,he even drifeted around the corners,glad the streets were bare and no cops were aroudn.Though he did have Temri call 911 as tyhey got closer,he then screeched to a stop in the back parking lot and he froze seeing the car,the door open and Ryan with his boss,who had a gun,he jumped out."RYAN!"

Ryan felt all the color fade from his skin when he saw the gun. "W-well thank-you. I...I always thought v-very highly of you too sir." he said nervously and stood in front of the doorway. "D-don't shoot her please." he said and looked up when he heard a screeching car and smiled when he saw Damen and then Temri. "DAMEN!"

Temri didn't bother to buckle up, he just pulled out his cellphone and called the police. He explained the situation and the location of the bookstore. "Please hurry, thank-you!" he said and hung up. "A patrol car is already on its way." Temri said and when they reached the location, Temri was surprised by what he saw. "Careful Damen." he said as he stepped out of the car as well.

His boss snirked.'oh if its teh little liers",he said coldly then looked back tp Ryan.'ou can go if you want Ryan,id bever hurt you"


Damen growled."Ryan the police are the way,he ont shoot not with so many witnesses...come on",he said trying to hol back his anger

Ryan shook his head and frowned. He was so scared, traumatized really. "N-no! No you're going to hurt her if i leave and I don't want you to hurt her anymore. You already hurt her enough sir. P=please don't make things w-worse than they already are." he whispered, still very afraid of this man.

Temri frowned, this wasn't looking good, someone was going to end up getting hurt. "Her? Who is he...oh no, is Yukina there too?!" Temri asked Damen and panicked. He hoped the police would get here soon.

His boss smirked."....so what ill have my trial and be locked up,then pay who i need and will be out again",he looked to Temri.'yes,shes in here,i must say dAMEN,FOR SUCH A LARGE HOUSE,YOud think you would have a better security system,one that ould etetct a burgler,like kicking down a door.....nab was she scared when she came out of the kitchen",he laughed colding.

Damen growled.He was goinf to murder him.If a jury i\didn;t hang him he would.Then looking u he saw the policve arrive and growled as the man laughed and surenedered,watching Ryan as they slammed the door shut to the cruiser

When they took the man away, Temri quickly ran to the car and frowned when he saw her there. "Yukina!" he gasped and carefully got her out of the car. "Damen we need to get her to a hospital, this is bad!" he called out to his friend and then looked at Ryan. "Come on Ryan time to go.

Ryan didn't say anything, the image of his boss staring at him as they closed the door and took him away was burned into his mind and would haunt him always now. In silence, he followed Temri back to where Damen's car was.

Damen instently crushed ryan to him breating heavly.'Im going to kill him",he growled and looke \d at Yukina and knew they coulndt stay there,he told the officers to back off for a few days,ten they would anser questons,he helped Ryand into the car and looked athim."your okay now",he said softly.thhenopened the door for Temri and Yukina.She was bad.He got into the car and once again gunned it to th nearest hospital

Ryan frowned. He sat down easily and buckled up. His eyes looked down at his own feet, he was trying to get rid of that man's face but he couldn't. No matter what, the man was always there, watching.

Temri looked at Yukina as he held her in his arms and kissed her forehead. "You'll be okay.." he whispered to her softly with a weak smile on his lips.

Damen looked to Ryan"when we get there Ryan you need to be checked for shock",he said softly.He glanced back at Teri with Yukian. He didn't like how prone her for was. Sighing he took off for the hospital

Ryan only nodded. He wasn't sure how that would go but he trusted Damen.

Temri looked over at Ryan and frowned. He was usually so chatty and now he was dead silent. That man obviously scared him.

Damen gripped teh wheel and sped off even more,trying his best not to drift as he pulled into teh hosptals emerg entrance."Ryan",he gently tok Ryans face and made him look to ihm,.'its going to be fine but you have to talk to em and tell me whats going on in your head...",he said softly and then got ,opening thedoor for Temri

Ryan looked at Damen and nodded. He was going to do his best to tell them everything running through his head. The fact that he was going to be killed the moment that man was free once again. Quietly, he got out of the car and held Damen's hand in his tightly.

Temri stepped out with Yukina in his arms and he looked at Ryan. "You'll be okay Ryan. We're not going to let that man do anything to you, we promise." he said and smiled at him before walking into the hospital.

Damen held his hand tightly and pulled his hadn and smieled sofly."Ill protect you...i promise',he said softly and enetered the ER,looking arodn.A doctor spotted the group and pales seeing Yukina,he yelled to a nurse fro a streacher and thrn ran over to Temri withit."what happened?",he asked worried

"A male abducted her from the house she was staying at and did this to her in the back seat of his car. This isn't the first time this man hurts her but he never hurt her this bad to make her bleed before." Temri explained and frowned. "Is she going to be okay?" he asked.

The doctor frowned as helookd ehr over.'lets run test...has she talked to nay of you at all?"

Damen shookhis head."no shes been unconsciousfor a while...Temri tired calling to her but she hasn't woke up",he said softly

The doctor looked concerend and nodded as another doctor took over taking Yukina threw the doors.

DAMEN SIGHED.'NOW,MY BOYFRIEND IS IN CHOCK,LITERALLY, HE WAS HELD at gun point by the man who did that too her"


The doctor frowned and nodded."take him to the room to the left,i'll ahve someone be theer as soon as they can"

Temri nodded and looked at Damen. "You two go ahead, I'll stay here with her but I'll meet you guys in a bit." Temri said quietly.

Ryan sighed softly and looked at Yukina, he hoped she would be okay. Perhaps it would have been best for them to just stay home with her.

Damen nodded."keep us posted",he said softly and gently lead Ryan to the room and hopped Yukina was going to be okay.She had to be...she couldnt ...not be okay....
