"He was just asleep." Tony pouted. "And I wanted to look at his arm it's not my fault he woke up."

Bucky glared at Steve. "I do know you but I can't I have no friends or anything from my past."

Gemini rolled her eyes and pulled him a little farther away. "I think Steve should get some time to talk with his friend alone." She said.

Steve took a chair and sat down across from Bucky. "But that's not true, or you wouldn't know me. We were best friends, a long time ago. Inseparable, until..." He took a breath to steady himself. "I thought you were gone. I guess, in a way, we both came back from the dead."

Tony let her pull him away. "But we'll miss the kissing." he complained loudly.

Bucky blinked. "Kissing?" he frowned. "That I don't remember. I remember you use to be a skinny shy guy." he frowned more. "What happened to me Steve?" he blinked. "I know your name."

Gemini snorted, trying not to laugh. It shouldn't have been funny, but it was anyway. "Shush, you'll confuse him!" She whispered, though she was smiling.

Steve glared over his shoulder. "There was never any kissing." He said. "Whatever you do, don't pay attention to him." He sighed. "Of course you know my name. You've known me longer than anyone else. And you're right, I used to be a lot different. So did you. I'm still not entirely sure what they did to you...besides wiping your memory, obviously. Can you remember anything else?"

"I remember bits and pieces nothing really solid." Bucky admitted. "How long has it been?" he asked glancing around. "Did we beat Red Skull?"

"I like making Steve annoyed." Tony shrugged. "I am glad that he got his friend back though."

Steve grimaced. Those were both bits of information that would be difficult to tell. "We did beat Red Skull, but Hydra has thrived. As for how long it's been..." He paused. "Over seventy years. It's a completely different world than it used to be."

Gemini smiled. "Careful, if you talk like that people might start to think you're not so bad." She teased lightly.

"Hydra controlled me." Bucky growled. "Wait...seventy...how are you alive?" He blinked. "I know I was frozen but what about you? What about your girl...Peggy?" It took him a second to think of her name.

"I am nice." Tony huffed. "You just can't see it unless you look closely." He smirked.

Steve looked away, sadness showing clearly on his features. "I was frozen in a block of ice. It's a long story. Peggy is...gone." He said. "I got to see her a few times after I woke up, but she was old...she didn't last long."

Gemini chuckled. "I don't want to ask, but...how closely would that be?" She said, knowing she'd probably regret the answer.

"Very close the glow from my reactor helps to hid it." Tony smirked and leaned close. "I think this should be close enough." He had pinned her between him and the wall.

"I'm sorry Steve I know you loved her." Bucky frowned then heard a mumble from the couch. "That girl...is she alright? What's with the group you where with? Are the other Howling commandos...dead?"

Gemini felt herself starting to blush, and fought it as much as she could. She wanted to say something, but her mind had gone blank. "Strange, I haven't regretted the question yet." She mumbled.

Steve could only nod. "They're all gone." He confirmed. "The group I'm with are called the Avengers, and it's kind of complicated. And the girl over there is Aurora. She should be fine with a little rest."

"Though you could be closer." Tony smirked and kissed her softly his slightly callused hands pinning hers hands to the wall so she couldn't hit him.

"That sucks." Bucky ran a hand threw his hair. "It's coming back to me slowly. Might take a while." he laughed when the girl rolled off the couch but didn't wake. "Aurora huh? She's cute." he mused.

Gemini gasped slightly in surprise. A small part of her mused that she seemed to like it more every time he kissed her. Tentatively, she kissed him back, hoping she wasn't completely terrible at it. Without her realizing it, her ears and tail appeared.

Steve smiled fondly over at Aurora. "Yeah, she is. She's also smart and brave and independent and one of the most amazing women I've ever met."

"Do you have a crush?" Bucky blinked then smirked. "If not I should see if she'll go out with me."

Tony slowly pulled away. "Did you get a good look at my nice side?"

Steve blinked and blushed. "No!" He said, a little louder than he meant to. "I-I mean...yeah, I guess I like her. So you can't go after her, okay?"

Gemini had to look up just a little to meet his gaze. "Among other things." She said, slightly breathless. "I'm starting to think you're a very complicated person."

Bucky blinked and smirked. "Alright I'll back off. Would you mind untieing me?" He ask as the Aurora stood yawning. She blinked then glared at him "What's he doing here?"

"I'm not that complicated." Tony shrugged. "I just do what I want as long as its not totally illegal."

Steve smiled a little, seeing Aurora awake. "We tied him up and brought him back...he remembers a few things. Uh...Aurora, this is Bucky. Bucky, that's Aurora." He introduced awkwardly. "Um...I can't really untie you without talking to the others about it..."

Gemini raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Because your emotions tell a different story." She said. She was starting to get used to everyone's emotions all around her, but his seemed to broadcast more clearly than the other's. "From what I can tell, you put on a show and act shallow to hide the sensitive person inside. You're much more that you seem."

"Still the same." Bucky looked to Aurora. "How about you doll?" "No." Aurora cut him off making Bucky blink. "Didn't even let me finish the sentence." He chuckled.

"Your emotion thing is a pain." Tony sighed. "Your suppose to figure that out after a few days of being with me without magic."

"C'mon, you said you'd back off." Steve said quietly, nudging Bucky. "Aurora, are you feeling alright?" He asked.

Gemini's ears flattened. "Sorry. It's not like I try...I'd love to shut it off for a while. And this Aether stuff only makes it worse." He tail twitched in agitation. "Like right now, I can feel everything Steve is feeling towards Aurora. Everything. It's really, really awkward."

"Oh really?" Tony smirked. "Maybe it's not a pain...what's he feeling? Something indecent I hope." He smoothed a hand down to her waist. "Why is he so much fun to tease?"

Aurora blinked at Steve "I'm still really tired but other than that I feel alright." She stood slowly and stretched. "How are you two?" Bucky shrugged "other then being tied up and having my memory's return? I feel fine."

At that point, Gemini's face matched her hair. "Uh...well...I'll just say he's feeling something that no female should ever know about." She said, mortified by the idea. "Maybe it's because of how he reacts like a teenager?"

Steve glance away from Aurora as she stretched, not wanting to stare. "I'm fine now that I know you're okay." He said, before he even realized what he was saying. Once he did realize it, he blushed.

"Really?" Aurora blushed as well. "That's good old Steve still shy and awkward." Bucky smirked. "Go on and tell her how you feel."

"Oh really?" Tony smirked looking like the cat who had eaten the canary. "I'll have to keep that in mind." he chuckled then glanced at her. "If you want I'll kiss the thoughts away."

Steve discreetly kicked Bucky's ankle...hard. It was a very obvious shut up. "Yeah, really." He went on as if Bucky hadn't spoken. "You had me worried for a while there."

Gemini let her head fall back against the wall. "I can't...I don't know...ugh." She sighed. "I'm not good at feelings...not my own feelings, anyway. It's a major downfall of being an empath. I know everyone else's emotions so well that my own are foreign. So forgive me in advance if I seem really awkward." She blurted out. "Right. With that out of the way..." She moved her head forward again and kissed him.

Tony kissed her back hands gripping Gemini's waist willing his mind to think of only kissing her and nothing more.

"What does he mean tell me how you feel?" Aurora frowned at Steve. "I didn't mean to worry you." she added.

Steve cursed in his head. It was almost like Bucky had never left, the way he settled right back in to embarrassing him. "N-nothing. I mean, it's not...I'd rather not talk about it here...maybe later." He said shyly.

Gemini could tell it was taking a bit of effort for him to concentrate, so she pressed closer, trying to drown his thoughts as well as he was doing for her.

Tony groaned in his mind and he slipped his hands over her body this was what he had been trying to avoid thinking about.

Aurora blinked "OK." She went to head upstairs but winded up tripping over Bucky's feet landing against Steve. "Hi." She smiled up at him.
