"Are you sure? Your my guest after all." Tony pouted a little.

"Well we could go see a movie or something." Aurora smiled at him. "Or just cuddle."

Gemini nodded. "I'm sure. Cooking will get my mind off the nightmares." She said.

Steve made a thoughtful sound. "Both options are pretty appealing. How about a movie, and then cuddling?"

Tony deflated. "Alright. Everything's in the kitchen." he was pouting a little.

"Works for me." Aurora pulled out the paper. "Lets pick a movie."

Gemini immediately felt bad. "You can help if you want." She offered. "We'll make something together."

Steve looked over her shoulder to read the movie listings.

Tony grinned. "OK! What do you want to eat?" he asked searching threw the cabinets.

Aurora blushed a little. "This one looks good." She pointed to The Secret life of Pets.

Gemini shook her head, smiling. She supposed it was too late to say she wanted cereal. "How about waffles?" She suggested. That was easy enough, right?

Steve nodded. "Okay, then we'll see that one." He said with a smile.

"Great." Tony got all the things they needed and waited to be taught how to cook.

Aurora lead the way to her car. "Do you want to drive?" she asked holding her keys out to him.

Gemini started by showing him what ingredients they needed, and how much of each. She guided him through the process of making the batter, then pouring it into the waffle iron and working it properly. The first batch came out just slightly burnt around the edges, but otherwise perfect.

Steve shrugged. "Sure, alright, if you don't mind too much." He said.

Tony looked pleased with himself. He made a few more and if possible looked even prouder. "See Jarvis I can cook."

Aurora handed him the keys. "Where did you learn to drive? Where did you get a license?" she blinked a little.

Gemini giggled. "I'm proud of you." She said, and she meant it. "How about we actually eat them now?"

"Lori, cars existed back before I was frozen." Steve said, a little surprised. "As for my license, it was pretty outdated when I woke up, but I had time to renew it a little while back."

"Yeah but..." Aurora blushed. "I sound like an idiot." she sighed. "Did Bucky help you or was in your mom?"

"Because we're hungry." Tony chuckled popping a piece into his mouth.

Steve shook his head. "You don't sound like an idiot. More like you're confused about how old I really am." He teased. "Bucky and I learned at the same time. We kind of taught each other...you can imagine the chaos that caused." He chuckled.

"Exactly." Gemini sat down and took some waffles, dousing them in syrup before digging in.

"Some times I do forget." Aurora shrugged. "If I think about it to much I realize I'm dating someone old enough to be my grandfather."

Tony did the same sighing happily. "It even tastes good."

Steve cringed a little. "Yeah...best not to think about it." He agreed.

"Of course it does." Gemini said encouragingly. It was hard to screw up waffles.

"I enjoy not thinking about it." Aurora nodded. "Makes things less strange."

Tony puffed out his chest and finished eating. "I fear you may have created a monster miss." Jarvis chimed in only half joking judging by the look on Tonys face.

Steve chuckled. "Okay, then." He said. "Anyway, let's go." He added, getting into the car.

Gemini shrugged. "I can manage monsters." She said. "As long as you agree not to try to cook anything without me around." She gave Tony a serious look.

"I promise." Tony nodded. "I would probably burn it anyways." he pouted a little.

Aurora hopped in and stared off into space as he drove. "Do you know where to go?" she asked with a blink.

"You'll be able to cook by yourself eventually. You've just got to let me teach you first." Gemini said encouragingly.

Steve nodded. "The theater we're going to has been there for a good long time. Long enough that I remember it being there." He said.

"That's a long time." Aurora joked judging him gentle. "It must be weird seeing the city so different but the same in some places."

"I'm your willing student." Tony grinned. "In exchange I'll teach you something I know."

Steve chuckled slightly, but his smile faded quickly. "Yeah, it is. Sometimes I feel like I'm looking at two completely different cities, one superimposed on the other. Sometimes I look and expect to see something that's been gone a long time."

Gemini raised an eyebrow. "You don't have to do that." She wasn't sure there was anything she wanted to learn, anyway. "I don't mind teaching you. It's nice to spend time with you."

"Do you regret getting a second chance?" Aurora asked heart lifting into her throat.

Tony blinked and smiled. "Your so different from most of the girls I know."

Steve risked taking his eyes off the road to glance at Aurora for half a second, clearly startled by her question. "What? No, I..." He stopped and actually thought about it. "No, I don't regret it. Not anymore, at least. When I first woke up, there was a long time when I wished I hadn't...but then I made new friends, and started to love the life I have now. And then I found someone I really cared about, and I wouldn't trade them for anything." He smiled meaningfully.

Gemini tilted her head. "What do you mean? Like, because I'm a kitsune?" She asked curiously.

"No most girls if they do something for me usually want sex, money or a job out of it." Tony stared at the floor. "It's my own fault for letting them getting away with it."

Aurora blushed darkly and smiled. "I'm happy for you Steve. I think fate meant for us to be together." she blinked. "I'm glad fate likes me so much." she chuckled.

Gemini frowned. "It sounds like the blame is fifty fifty. I mean, sure you shouldn't let people use you like that, but they shouldn't even try to begin with. Maybe you just need to keep company with different kinds of people." She said.

Steve's smile returned. "Yeah, I think you're right about that." He said. "Fate has been pretty good to us, hasn't it?"

"You less so." Aurora grimaced. "It should have let you live your life." she frowned. "But know you have a second chance and me so it evens out."

"People like you." Tony squeezed her hand. "Thank you for showing me a whole new world."
