"I know." Aurora smiled but the flash of fire in her eyes told her Cress thought other wise. "I would never touch Tony again. I know where he's been."

Tony snorted and rolled his eyes. "I'm not diseased." he chuckled and went to go for a walk around the compound.

Gemini scowled. "I hope you're not implying anything about me, Cress." She said. "Just watch him, and I'll watch wonder boy. It's the only way to keep those two from killing each other."

"Agreed." Aurora nodded and went to go read up on Bucky.

Meanwhile Bucky was heading back to his apartment. He was slowly getting his memories back and it worried him.

Gemini nodded and left, moving as quickly as possible.

It had been difficult, but Steve had managed to track Bucky. Now all he had to do was get to him before the authorities did.

Aurora frowned as she worked. "Crap!" she went to find Tony and showed him what she had found. "Crap." Tony took the info on the person who was in charge of questioning Bucky. "We have to stop this!" he strode off Aurora hurrying after him.

Bucky frowned when he sensed someone. "I know your there." he turned. "I don't want to hurt you."

"You're not going to hurt me." Steve said, stepping out from the shadows. He paused to listen to Sam, in his ear, telling him they were short on time. "Understood." He turned to Bucky. "Do you know me?"

"Your name Steven Rogers, your my best friend." Bucky smiled at Steve. He remembered Steve alright though he still wasn't use to his short, skinny friend being a super soldier. "Your mothers name was Sarah."

Steve nodded, relieved. "That's right. Listen, we don't have much time. There's a bunch of people on their way here right now who want you dead. You need to come with me."

"Alright." Bucky nodded. "I'm with you to the end of the line."

Aurora and Tony where arguing with the directors. Finally Tony threatened them with Cress, when they didn't listen she set them on fire and they agreed at once to let her do the interview and arrest the man who was suppose to do it.

"Great, let's go." Steve said, just as the police swarmed into the apartment. He swore, barked out a few orders to Sam, grabbed Bucky and ran for it.

Bucky followed Steve easily keeping up. Eventually they where cornered and with no way out Bucky gave himself up.

Cress was interrogating the man who was suppose to question Bucky. She got a lot out of him including the red book he had found. She burnt it to ashes and then destroyed the mans memory.

Tony stared at her in shock as she emerged from the room.

((as you can see I'm winding it. They get captured and brought to the FBI. I'm planning on having Tony find out about what Bucky did and I'm still working out the rest.))

Gemini managed to catch up with Steve...just as he was surrounded by cops. She shoved through the line to follow him, Bucky and Sam as they were taken away. "Steve!" She caught up. "I came to make sure you didn't get into any trouble...apparently I'm too late. Aurora is taking care of everything, though." She said.

Steve looked slightly relieved. "Good. If anyone can get us out of this, it's her. Thank you for coming all the way here though." He said. At the moment, they were all criminals in the eyes of the law- except for Gemini- because they'd been trying to help a suspected murderer escape.

Aurora spotted Steve when they brought them in. She gave Bucky a fierce glare then smiled though it was full of venom. "Mr. Barnes. I'm glad I can finally meet you. I'll be conducting your interrigation." she grabbed Steve's arm. "First though I need to have a team meeting." she grabbed Tony and Gemini as well. "We have a problem." she pulled the book out having kept Cress from burning it just yet. 'I for one would like to know what happened on December 16, 1991 and why this guy was so curious." As the date entered her mind her eyes widened and she went pale. "Oh no." she glanced at Tony.

Tony went pale as the date left Aurora's lips. "I can't be." he mumbled. Suddenly anger filled his eyes and he turned heading towards Bucky fury driving him on. He didn't even notice Aurora who was holding his arm trying to hold him back from whatever he was planning on doing. He wasn't even sure what it was that he was going to do.

Gemini went pale. "No way- hey, wait! Don't!" She hurried after Tony, though she didn't know how she would stop him.

Steve quickly stepped between Tony and Bucky, holding his arms out. "Tony, come on, don't do this. He wasn't himself."

"Get out of the way." Tony glared at Steve his voice filled with venom. "I don't care. He killed my mom." he looked shattered for a moment then the anger returned.

"Tony killing him is not the answer." Aurora joined Steve biting her lip. "I know it hurts."

"YOU DON"T KNOW ANYTHING!" Tony roared taking a step forward seeing nothing but red.

Gemini stepped forward with him, grabbing his arm. "But I do." She said quietly. "I know. And I know fighting isn't going to help."

Steve didn't move, still defending Bucky just in case Tony got any closer.

"Did you kill them?" Tony snarled glaring at Bucky over Steve's shoulder. Bucky remained silent flinching when Tony yelled. "Did you do it!?" "Yes." Bucky mumbled. "Why?" Tonys voice broke. Bucky shook his head "I don't..." he paused frowning. "Because he was carrying the syrum that would make more people like me. They want no survivors." he looked up flinching at the murderous look on Tonys face.

Tony looked at Steve and growled. "I will never forgive him." he clenched his hands into fists and walked off trying hard not to go back.

Gemini flinched slightly at the yelling, her ears flattening to her head. As Tony walked away, she gave Steve an odd look. "You knew." She said quietly. "You knew about this. All along. And you didn't tell him." The look on Steve's face confirmed it. "Some friend." She snarled, and turned to run after Tony.

Steve remained standing where he was, not moving, not even flinching. Once Gemini had gone, he looked up to meet Aurora's gaze. "I just thought...I wanted to protect him. Both of them." He said in a pleading voice. Begging her to understand.

"Are you sure you weren't just protecting yourself?" Aurora scowled. "Come on Mr. Barnes." she pulled Bucky away to conduct the interrogation.

Tony was sitting in the break area staring at the table.

Steve flinched. He remained silent as Aurora took Bucky away.

Gemini found him there, and quietly sat down next to him. She didn't know what to say.

"All these years I thought it was weird that it had been a car crash that killed them. Dad was such a good driver even in his old age but murder...and for it to be Steve's friend." Tony stopped as his voice broke. "He defended him. How could he? He knew my dad, he." he choked and stood planning on running off.

Aurora sat down across from Bucky. "Is your names James Barnes?" Bucky nodded. "Yes." "are you the winter soldier?" Aurora looked up. "Yes." he looked away. "Do you remember what you have done?" Bucky nodded. "Your in a lot of trouble Mr. Barnes." Aurora sighed. "Bucky my names Bucky." he frowned. Aurora ignored his request and focused on the matter at hand. "A lot of people want you locked up." she glared. "I personally want to punch you." she growled then took a breath. "But since I know about what I found I think you should be frozen again." she blinked as the lights went off. "What?" she glanced up then grabbed the book quickly burning it.

Gemini stood as well, grabbing his arm. "Don't run. I know you're hurting...please let me help you." She tugged him closer. "I can't defend Steve for this one...but I imagine he thought he was protecting you. He's a fool...and his friend deserves nothing less than death." She added the last part darkly, as if she was considering taking care of that herself. At that moment, the lights went out. "Oh, what now?"

Steve hadn't moved from that spot, frozen by his own guilt. He was snapped out of it by the sudden darkness, making him instantly on alert for danger. His first thought was Aurora, and he headed in her direction- quickly.

Aurora unlocked Bucky. "Stay close." her eyes turned red. "And don't get in the way." Cress glared and turned as the door opened revealing the man they had arrested earlier. "Sorry pal but you picked the wrong door." she smirked and pulled a dagger from her waist encasing it in fire she attacked.

Tony sighed and tapped his glasses. "Seems like the whole power plant is down." he frowned. "This could be trouble."
