Steve watched the bird in wonder, then looked back at Aurora. He smiled shyly. "That's...really neat." He said, gesturing to show he meant the fire bird. "Um...I'm sorry. I'm not really very good at...small talk." He said.

"Well talk about the past. What was it like? Did you know Peggy helped to make Shield? She married and had a couple kids. She's in a nursing home know. "Did you have a TV? Was it black and white? What made you try so hard to be a soldier?" Aurora paused realizing that was one two many questions at once.

Steve blinked. "Yeah, I knew all that. I've been to visit her a few times, but..." He broke off, cleared his throat, and continued. "I didn't have a television. We were pretty poor. I tried so hard because I wanted to help my country." He answered her questions in order.

"Yeah it's hard seeing her like that." Aurora sighed. "Moving on from that depressing subject..." She searched her mind for another question. "Do you miss the old days? I mean this century is very different what with the Internet and cell phones. Is it hard to adjust?"

Steve thought this over. "Sometimes, yeah, I miss the way things were. It was simpler back then, and sometimes I feel like I don't belong here. But then, there are other times when I'm just amazed at how much the world has changed, and I feel like a little kid discovering things again. I guess, in the end, I'm lucky to have gotten a second chance."

"That sounds like you." Aurora laughed a little glancing at the bird which was hopping around. "We are almost out of time." she grinned evily. "I have an idea." she multiplied the bird so the rack was full of fire birds when the door opened revealing Tony they all cocked there heads at him.

Tony spotted the birds. "Crap." he ran as they flew at his head going after Gemini as well since she had teased Aurora earlier.

Steve watched, amused, as the fire birds attacked Tony and Gemini. He had to try hard not to laugh. "I like the way you think." He said to Lori, leaving the closet to go sit down.

Rather than running from the birds, Gemini created fire cats which started to hunt the birds. "Call off your henchmen, we're about to burn the place down!" She said, though she was laughing.

"Alright." Aurora chuckled and they birds vanished but not before giving Tony a hard peck. "Since you teased us." She pushed Tony and Gemini into the closet locking it before they could protest.

Gemini squeaked, stumbling into the closet. "No fair!" She called. "I wanted to take my turn!" Crossing her arms, she turned and suddenly realized she was trapped in a small, dark enclosed area with a man who, despite having known him only a day, she found herself unreasonably attracted to. All this ran through her mind in an instant, making her blush and thank God that the closet was dark. "Um...hi."

Tony was chuckling softly. "Hi." He smiled at her. "She's always been like that. She gets embarrassed and then gets revenge...it can be scary." He grimaced at a memory. "So you've fallen for the Tony charm huh?" He sighed. "Usually I would be thrilled but I've actually know what it's like to be in love and then have my heart broken. Aurora says it was good for me in a way to know what I but all those girls threw." The alcohol was making him chatty and he reflected that he may have had to much to drink.

Gemini blinked a few times. "That's...I never said...am I that obvious?" She asked, giving up trying to deny it. "I'm not even sure how I feel. I'm not...used to experiencing my own emotions. I recognize the feelings of those around me, but my own are foreign. I...." She ran a hand through her hair, not sure why she was still talking. "Aurora seems like a good friend to have. By the way, I stand by what I said earlier. You're a good person. I can tell." She asserted, unaware that two fuzzy red fox ears had popped up on top of her head.

"I've never seen a girl with cat ears before." he was teasing her. "If I scratch behind them will you purr?" Tony blinked at them then with a smirk reached over and touched them. "Well that's different." he returned his hand to his side he was ignoring the good person comment Aurora and Pepper had often said the same thing.

Gemini blinked. "Cat ears...? Oh!" Her blush was almost bright enough to see in the dark when he touched her ear. "I-I-I'm a kitsune. A fox demon. Not a cat. I usually hide these. I have a tail, too." She stammered, unable to form a complete thought. "Do us both a favor and-" please scratch behind my ear again... "D-don't touch my ears." She said, instead of the thought that crossed her mind. They only had seven minutes, it wouldn't do for her to jump him.

Tony raised an eyebrow but put his hands in the air. "Alright fine." he chuckled. "So want to ask me anything I promise not to lie it's not my style."

Gemini sighed just a little, not enough to notice. Her ears twitched as she thought. "Are you really such a good kisser, or was it just because I have no frame of reference?" She blurted out, then slapped a hand over her mouth. Think before speaking, moron!! She thought.

"I've had a lot of practice but that was not a great kiss. It's OK here I'll give you something to reference it to." Tony pulled her hands away from her mouth and kissed her sweetly pinning her hands loosely to her side.

Gemini gasped slightly, not expecting him to do that. It only took a second before she gave in and kissed him back, shyly at first. She wasn't really sure what to do, so she let him lead. Who knew kissing could be so much fun? She thought fleetingly.

Suddenly the door opened "You left them in a closet alone and it's not as bad as you thought it would be." Aurora smirked at them.

Tony pulled away from her a smirk on his face. "Now you have something to compare the first one with."

Gemini blushed even brighter, if possible. "Right. Yeah. Okay." She walked quickly out of the closet, hiding her ears before the others could see them.

"I don't think I've ever seen a person turn that shade of red before." Steve said in amusement as Gemini sat down. "And all you did was kiss?"

"If you want I'll give you tips so you can make Aurora blush like that." Tony exited the closet smirking his cocky smirk ignoring the glare Aurora was giving him. "Besides it's not that bad of a blush I've seen worse." he chuckled a little.

"You have to be the one person who kisses and tells." Aurora sighed. "Though at least you've only ever kissed girls you wanted to be with." she mused. "As weird as that sounds."

"Can we talk about something else?" Gemini said, clearly beyond embarrassed.

Steve shrugged. "Alright. Let's talk about how we're basically stuck here and have nothing else to talk about."

"Yeah that's a positive thing to talk about." Aurora snorted and then sighed. "We need to finish the plan and then get a move on before they find us."

"She has a point though its nice to have someplace safe to stay till we come up with a complete plan." Tony smiled at the house.

"As true as that is, I'd prefer to be actively doing something about this situation than just waiting to be found." Steve said.

Gemini nodded. "I agree. It's better to take care of a problem head on, before it gets worse. The sooner it's taken care of, the sooner we can be done with it."

"We need to figure out where the Hydra members are if we are lucky Bruce remembers where exactly it is." Tony looked to Bruce who sighed. "Unfortunately I do remember." He grimaced. "Not that I want to."

"Well that helps." Aurora blinked. "Once we get a look at the base we can make a real plan." She smiled at Banner who sighed again.

"Do we have a map of the area?" Gemini asked. "It'll be easier if we can mark out a route first before we go barging in."
