Awww, I don't even know what to say. XD

My parents have three cats, Tom, Marcell and Mimi. Mimi and Tom are siblings, Marcell was adopted from their neighbour. And now they also have my Minerva and Nessie.
Minerva was rescued from the street, got taken to the printers' where my husband used to work and then my husband brought her home to us. Nessie was also rescued from the street, she climbed into our car when my husband was at work and left the car open to take some stuff out. She also turned up the same day my husband's dog who lived with his parents was put to sleep because of old age and health problems. So it was a sign.

My heart broke that I had to leave them with my parents, but I know that they are taken care of and get all the lovings they need. ^_^

nooo. I've had to give up pets in the past, and its awful! It feels like you're abandoning them. :c

I don't think I could do it. My mom and dad tried a sort of trial run of giving up our dog when I was a kid, but I didn't understand what was happening. I don't think I could process that 'giving up' your pets was a thing.

It shouldn't be a thing. They're as much of a member of your family as anyone else. But I mean... Life happens, and sometimes family gets separated.

It isn't a thing with me, but I had no other choice. I moved to the other side of the world from my home and the trip was bad enough for me (it took us two days and three flights), I just couldn't expose them to that sort of stress.
They are comfortable and well taken care of with my parents who are also cat lovers. I miss them and I don't think I will ever get over the fact that I left them behind. But yes, life happens and they're still with my family. Hopefully, I'll find them well and happy and healthy when I go back home to visit.

Why did you move so far away?

Yay, At Least Div did not miss it like she missed most of the Last event. >.<

Life is getting pretty rough in Europe. I'm 30, my husband's 39, we both had multiple jobs and were just barely scraping by. An opportunity presented itself and we decided to take it and maybe try and make a better life for ourselves. Perhaps even start a family. ^_^

You're lucky Divacita, I missed the last... not even sure how many events. But two years worth of them. XD

Still can't decide on which common sets to get....
