Balthier arrived and pushed people out of the way so that could enter. "Out of my way!" he said simply and walked right inside. His golden eyes looked around for Aleen and when he found her, he made his way over to her. "Well well well, you are looking stunning." he said to her and kissed her knuckles softly, giving her a smirk. He looked over at Charming but said nothing and turned his attention back to the jewel in front of him. "I apologize for taking long, I had to make sure everything was perfect." he explained to her.

Jink laughed softly and nodded, "Yes you're right. You know her better than anyone so I know you're right.Besides, she wouldn't do anything to hurt herself." Jinx said and looked back up at the moon. "It sure is, I'm sure no one is ever going to forget such a magical event like this one." Jinx assured. She looked over towards the location of the ball and was excited to arrive. "Oh this is going to be so much fun!" she said happily.

Snow laughed as she was launched in the air due to avoiding a spooked team of horses. A rogue carriage bolted forward breaking her ice path and sent her flying through the air. She screamed out as she flew through the air. She used her magic and appeared in the middle of the ballroom suddenly as the floor froze solid as she landed in the middle. Snow started to fall very softly in the room as people looked around in awe and all started to laugh.


Ezale laughed as grabbed her waist as the cloud suddenly dove down as they flew into the ballroom. He looked up as he saw a soft snow falling. It looked enchanting as he smiled and held out his arm for Jinx as he stepped down onto the frozen dance floor as he smiled and bowed like a polite gentlemen for her. Everyone's eyes was on Jinx they where all memorized by her just as he was peering up at her.

Aleen laughed and sat up straight as her eyes narrowed hearing a loud nose. She stood suddenly as the entire ballroom floor froze. She looked up as she saw snow falling inside. " What on earth is this!" She demanded as the guards looked around unsure. She then narrowed her eyes as she saw Jinx and Ezale. She felt her mother stand suddenly as he had a grin on his face. "where are you going Marrick?" She asked as he bowed to her and laughed.

Marrick laughed as he turned and looked at his sister. " I'm going to get my date. The lovely Snow Queen. What's wrong sister can't handle a little competition?" He said as he laughed looking at the snow falling and the frozen floor. " This will be a ball to remember. I'd say it's enchanting like the lovely Snow who did it. You have to admit she has flair something you should appreciate." He said as he looked over at Balthier. " Hope you don't mind if I cut in. Your sister appears to be taken by Snake. The only other beauty is the Snow Queen herself. I mean I thought you where into her. However after how you kissed my sister I assume there wont be a problem." He said meaning it as he looked at Aleen.

Aleen's eyes narrowed as she glared at Marrick. " BroTHER!" She said as she went to reach for his sleeve to stop him. She looked to Balthier as she gently placed her hand on his arm and smiled at him sweetly. Her magic was stronger than Snow's what did she have to fear. It wasn't like Balthier had formed a deep connection with Snow after just meeting. She was no threat to Aleen. However Jinx might be a issue and apparently her brother was going to be as well now. " Oh she is lovely but Balthier look at your sister isn't she breath taken. Why don't we go say hello and maybe you could do a slow dance with her. After we fix the floor of course." She said in a very enchanting voice.

Jinx laughed softly and gently grabbed his arm as she stepped off of the cloud and onto the frozen dance floor. Jinx smiled sweetly at him and noticed that everyone was staring at her. That was probably a good thing and she wondered where her brother was. They couldn't lose sight of what they were here for. They were here to save her brother, hopefully they would be able to.

Balthier tore his gaze away from Aleen when he heard a loud sound. Looking around, he noticed his sister Jinx, Ezale, and Snow. It was nice that they could make it to the ball. Listening to what Marrick said, Balthier laughed and shook his head. "Right, you go ahead and keep thinking blondie is lovely. We all know she's not. And you are never getting with my sister. I hope that is very clear, no one gets close to her unless I approve and frankly, I don't want any guy hurting her. So far the weasel hasn't done anything bad so he's okay but I still have my eyes on him." Balthier said and looked over at Ezale. He narrowed his eyes seeing what Jinx was wearing. It was a little revealing and he wasn't liking that.

Balthier smirked, "Well of course my sister is breathtaking. She's my sister." he said simply and held out his arm for Aleen. "We should go and say hello. I don't think I ever saw her in that dress before." he said and walked with Aleen across the room to where Jinx and Ezale were. "Well well well, look at you both. Very nice." he said and looked at Ezale, "I assume you're taking very good care of my sister right?" he asked. He knew he could come off as over protective but he didn't care.

Snake looked to Balthier as he narrowed his eyes lightly. " Well of course I'm not stupid she is one of most beautiful women here. She puts that girl on your arm to shame with her beauty. " He said as he flashed a grin looking at Balthier. " Don't worry I'll take my job as her date very seriously. I'll give her a night to remember." He said as his grin widen a gleam shown brightly in his eyes. " Besides naturally I'm unforgettable. The two of us are the most stunning people here. You pale in comparison." He said not able to help himself as he turned and looked at Jinx. " Shall we dance my beautiful lady?" He asked then looked at the floor and smiled. " Or shall we slide?" He said looking at the other couples that had figured out how to slide along the floor.

"Oh yes before I forget Aleen is it? This has to be one of the best parties. However I don't believe that dress will work here. You might want to change." He said as he took Jinx other hand and suddenly leaned to the side sending them sliding across the floor away from Balther and Aleen. He chucked as he turned hearing Aleen scream. " I warned her that dress wasn't right." He said as he looked at her now wet and stained dress. One of the couples had skated right into the punch bowl and sent it flying at her. He looked back to Jinx and grinned. " Sorry I couldn't stand to see you drenched that's why I had to make our escape. " He said as he smiled warmly at her holding her with a slightly tighter grip so she wouldn't fall.

He leaned closer to her as he twilled with her avoiding accident after accident keeping her safe and free from any mishaps. The two danced about the frozen floor with the soft Snow still falling down. He smiled enchanted by Jinx's beauty enjoying himself finding it hard to think about stopping. He didn't want this night to end this was truly a enchanting night he would remember even if others wished they could forget.

"What?" Aleen said and then screamed as the special punch suddenly drenched her. She looked down at her beautiful dress as it was stained now with the red mixture. She was covered in it from head to tow. She looked around trying to see if someone had done this on purpose or not. Her eyes narrowed on Snow as she felt her temper rising. "That girl has ruined the ball and my dress!" She said as turned and looked at Balthier. " I'll have to go change I'm sorry." She said as Bunny and her gang appeared and looked at Aleen trying not to laugh. Bunny helped Aleen off the floor and to her room so she could change.

Snow looked up as she watched people started to dance or slid across the floor. She laughed softly at the people as they laughed enjoying themselves. She turned having watched what had happen with Aleen. She felt bad for the girl but tried not to laugh. "Servers you right." She said as she turned her attention to where Ezale and Jinx where. She smiled happy to see that they looked to be having a lovely time. She frowned a little looking over to Balthier seeing that he still was under Aleens spell. She slide over to where he was wanting to check and see if he was alright. " Are you alright? Did anything get on you?" she asked. She turned as she heard Merrick approaching frowning slightly once again.

Balthier smirked at Ezale's response. "Well of course she is, she's my sister. Can't you see the flawless resemblance?" he asked and looked at his sister. "Jinx you really are looking beautiful. Normally I wouldn't allow you to wear this dress ever but this is a formal event so you're dressed appropriately." Balthier said to Jinx, being very honest. He narrowed his eyes though at Ezale, "Watch what you say weasel. I don't think you want the inner dragon to play with his chew toy right here do you?"" he warned. "Right, I'm sure you will, but I'll keep my eyes on you weasel. If you do anything to hurt her, I'll give you ten seconds to run." Balthier informed and laughed. "Right, unforgettable. Just behave yourselves. I'm not joking." he said seriously.

When Ezale spoke to Aleen about her dress, Balthier became confused and watched him leave with his sister seconds before Aleen was drenched in punch thanks to some fellow sliders. "Don't be sorry love, I'll wait for yyou as long as I have to." Balthier said and watched her leave. When she was gone he couldn't help but start laughing because even though he should feel bad he did not. That was amazing in his book. It was too funny to ignore. Hearing Snow's voice, Balthier did his best to calm down and turned to face her. "Hello Blondie, I'm glad you were able to attend. I was starting to think you wouldn't show up, glad to know I was wrong." he said and shook his head. "I'm fine. Did you see what happened?" he asked and chuckled. "I know I shouldn't laugh but it was beautiful!" he said and laughed softly, remembering it.

Jinx giggled and smiled at her brother. It was nice to see he was having a good time so far but she missed her old brother. He would be sitting at a table somewhere glaring at everyone that approached him to dance. "Ah yes, dancing sounds nice." she said to Ezale and was surprised when they slid across the floor. She noticed Aleen get drenched in punch and laughed sweetly. "Oh dear, I sort of feel bad for the poor girl, but she deserves it for messing with my brother." she said honestly and looked up at Ezale, he looked as handsome as ever and she remembered that he was used to being the playboy but maybe he changed now. Maybe she changed him. Jinx happily twirled with him around the frozen dance floor, just enjoying herself.

Snow couldn't help but smiled as she laughed softly. " I couldn't think of it happening to a better person honestly. " She said as she flashed him a playful grin. " Besides she honestly over reacted about the situation. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves isn't that what she and her brothers wanted?" She asked as she looked up seeing Merrick. " Speaking of the devil here one comes. " She said as she looked to Balthier and suddenly took his hand and pulled him sending them sliding across the floor. She laughed suddenly as they flew across the floor. She laughed as she saw another couple heading their way as she pulled him to the side sending them flying across the floor in another direction. Snow tried to stop but couldn't as she and Balthier ended up falling onto one of the couches. Snow blushed a little as she found herself on Balthier's lap with his arms around her. She knew it meant nothing to him but her heart was racing.

Ezale smiled as he heard Jinx laugh. " I guess I forgot to mention I can see glimpses of the future. I mean I did try and warn her." He said as he grinned knowing that what he said really wasn't a warning. " You know you are really light on your feet. " He said as he danced with her making sure they avoided other couples who where trying to slide along. He turned his head as he thought he saw Snow and Balthier slide past. " Was that your brother and Snow? " He asked as he twilled her around dodging one of the staff who was sliding with another bowl of punch across the floor. He smiled as he watched Snow and Balthier crash on one of the couches. " I'm not sure if I should be impressed or offended. The Snow Queen to be crashed and failed to stay on the frozen floor. However she did manage to get the dragon. Shall we slide on over? " He asked looking to Jinx as he smiled at her.

"Well now, she's my girlfriend I can't just laugh at her misfortune." Balthier said, suddenly serious before laughing again and shaking his head. "This once I'll let it slide though." he said and nodded. "Between me and you, she is over dramatic about everything." he whispered to her. "Don't tell anyone I told you that though." he said and looked up in time to see Merrick approaching them. He smirked and waved as Snow pulled him with her, sending them across the floor. This was actually fun and he found himself laughing with Snow. If you wanted to see his lovely smile, the only way to see it was to make him laugh really. Balthier noticed they were going to crash into a couch and without thinking, quickly wrapped his arms around snow and turned his back to the couch causing them to fall onto the couch with Snow on his lap. "That has to be the most fun I had in the longest time. It was even funner than flying and chasing down weasel." Balthier admitted.

"Oh you can?!" Jinx gasped and smiled. "That is so cool!" she said happily as she continued to dance and slide across the floor with Ezale. "Thank-you, my brother and I loved to dance back at home. Sometimes mother would dance with us too, it was fun." she explained. "My brother?" she repeated and looked around to find her brother with Snow on his lap on the couch. "Oh dear, Aleen is going to be furious." she whispered and looked back at Ezale. "I'm just glad they didn't get hurt." she said as she watched another punch bowl crash onto the floor. The place was going to be a mess. "Yes, I think we should check up on them and then we can dance some more." she suggested to Ezale.

Snow smiled and laughed as she stared at him he really was enchanting even if he didn't mean to be. She had forgot about Aleen and honestly didn't care about her right now. " Well if you thought this was fun you should join me on the lake some time. You should see what I can do with Ice and snow when I try." She said as she smiled almost forgetting who's lap she was on. However how fast her heart was beating wouldn't allow her to forget for long. " Thank you it really was fun. And I promise your secret is safe with me. " She said giving him a playful wink. "We better part. Aleen would be steaming if she saw this." Snow said as she smiled at him and just sat there not really making a effort to move. Something just felt right about it and as she stared at him she found she almost forgot he was under Aleen's spell.


Ezale smiled as he heard what Jinx said. " Really? I didn't know you liked to dance I guess that means I need to find out what music you like so I know what to dance to with you." He said being serious as he lead her to where Snow and Balthier where. He paused for a moment as he saw the smile on Balthier's face. " We need a picture of this. Dragon's smile. 'He said as he looked to Jinx. " Crap....it's about to get ugly." He said as he suddenly pulled her to him and stepped off the floor his back to the wall as he held her up against him in a protective manner. " The witch is back." He said as he started to count. " ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two," About that time Aleen let out another scream. There was sounds of glass crashing and hitting the ground breaking and people apologizing.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Aleen screamed her eyes locked on the four servers who had dumped more punch on her and different dishes of food. She glared at them looking as if she was ready to kill them. However Bunny placed her hand on Aleen's arm and pointed over at Balthier and Snow. This time Aleen grew quiet almost deathly quiet. Her eyes narrowed as she looked ready to incinerate Snow. Aleen went to step onto the floor and suddenly her foot slide out from under her causing her to hit the floor hard. Everyone stared to point and laughed as she screamed again. This only made people laugh harder. Aleen suddenly vanished in a red mist.

Balthier smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Well now, is that a date blondie?" he asked and chuckled. "I'd love to, sounds like it could be fun." he said and laughed softly. "Thanks. She's crazy, gets upset over every little thing. If they don't have what she wants she screams, if things don't go how she wants them to she screams." he added and shook his head, annoyed with Aleen's constant whining. When Snow mentioned parting, Balthier looked at her and nodded, his golden eyes locked on her eyes. "Yes we probably should huh? I don't need her screaming again and ruining my fun. I honestly want to thank you, I don't think I would have had this much fun with Aleen, she would rather stand around and be the center of attention when she knows that I don't particularly like standing around like an idiot." he explained. Balthier didn't bother moving though, he was comfortable and if Aleen had a problem then she could just tell him.

"Any kind of music is fine, we like to dance to any music." Jinx said and giggled. "I love to dance Ezale so feel free to ask me to dance anytime there is music playing okay?" she said to him. Jinx walked beside Ezale to where her brother and snow sat and grinned when she saw the smile on her brother's face. "If you want, I'll dance with Balthier later so you can see just how good he and I dance." she suggested and blinked. She blushed brightly and looked over to where Aleen stood and winced when she heard her scream. "Oh no..." she said and looked back at her brother who looked surprised.

Balthier tore his gaze away from Snow and looked over to Aleen when he heard her scream. "Here we go again..." he said quietly as he stared at his girlfriend who was now staring right at him in anger. He knew both he and Snow were in a lot of trouble, mostly Snow so he gently set Snow to the side and stood up, his eyes never leaving Aleen. "Aleen!" he called out but she was already gone. He knew he had to go find her but did he want to face her wrath? Hey he wasn't afraid of her, if she screamed he would too. The two of them together really was a deadly combination.

Bunny slowly made her way over to where Balthier was as she sighed and looked at him. " I'm glad I'm not you. However you really should stay away from that girl." She said eyeing Snow. " It's only going to cause fights. Don't worry dragon boy. I'll go clam her down for you. But you'll owe me one later." She said softly as she moved passed him and locked her eyes on Ezale. " Well my my aren't you handsome Ezale. And your beautiful Jinx." She said meaning it as she smiled. She ignored Snow her attention on Ezale. " Maybe later we can have a dance." She said as she seemed really nice. Bunny gave him a playful wink as she reached out and touched his nose before she left. Bunny seemed so agile and at home on the frozen floor as she moved across it looking so elegant. She smiled so sweetly that most of the guys seemed to stop and stair. Bunny along with the others headed off to find Aleen.

Snow smiled but it faded as she watched Balthier go. Snow wished she had someone like Balthier. He really was a sweet guy in his own way. Snow slowly got up and slipped out of the castle while everyone else was busy watching Balthier and the others. Snow walked to the lake as she stepped onto it turning it into solid ice. She stared to skate across it as it made her forget everything. She knew she needed to leave before Aleen really did something bad. Snow held out her hands as she made a ice sculpture of Balthier. She used her magic to make it come to life as she bowed to it and the two started to dance across the ice. She knew no one would come out to the lake while the ball was going on. So she enjoyed herself even if her dance partner was a bit cold and enchanting.

Ezale was going to answer Jinx when Bunny appeared. He shook his head as she touched his nose. He wasn't sure what was going on but she seemed to be honestly nice. He looked back to Jinx as he softly whispered to her. " Down girl, we already have one dragon who may go on a rampage we don't need two. Besides she can't compare to you. I also wanted to take you to this ball not her. That means your the one I want to dance with. If you would like to dance with your brother I'll happily watch. I'm here to be your arm candy and whatever you need me to be here. I'm not dancing with anyone but you. "

Balthier narrowed his eyes as Bunny approached her. "Listen to me, I don't owe you anything, understand?" he hissed. "Snow is my friend, if you don't like it I could care less. You're Aleen's friend and frankly I don't like you but I have to deal with your annoying presence because I love Aleen." he said seriously and stormed off to find Aleen. "Aleen!" he called out, wondering where she was. "Aleen!?" Balthier called out again and sighed. Where could she have hidden herself? Perhaps she was in her room, so he walked over to see if she was in there.

Jinx glared at Bunny and balled up her hands into fists when Bunny winked at Ezale and touched his nose. "Thank-you..." she hissed and wanted to launch herself at Bunny but forced herself to relax when she heard Ezale whisper into her ear. "I'm sorry, I just cannot stand her. I don't like her and I hate that she flirts with you right in front of me." Jinx explained, frowning slightly as she looked up at her handsome date. That frown vanished however when she heard Ezale's sweet words. Jinx chuckled and smiled up at him, "You really are a sweet guy Ezale." Jinx said and thought for a moment. "Would you like to go dance some more now?" she asked hopefully. Jinx really enjoyed dancing with Ezale.

Aleen appeared on the bank of the lake this time as her true self. She watched Snow as a wicked grin appeared on her lips. " Oh my it's so disappointing when bad girls go good." She said suddenly as she watched Snow stop and stare at her. She held out her hand as the sad ice sculpture of Balthier shattered into shards of ice falling to the frozen lake. " You know I really had no intention of taking him. However when I saw how you looked at him I couldn't resist." She said as she smiled at Snow laughing. " You are so sad such potential. " She said as she held out her hand and suddenly watched as Snow as lifted into the air struggling to breath as if she was being chocked by a unseen force. " I'm sorry it had to come to this. " She said as she balled her hand up making Snow struggle harder. "You thought you where saving them." Aleen said as she laughed hysterically.

" My intention was never any of those weakling. You where my prize the entire time. I was going to wait and finish you at the end of the year. However you made it to where I can't afford to. And that dragon of ours handsome but not smart is he? And you my dear Snow not that smart either." She said as suddenly the dark Mirror appeared. " Ah just who I was waiting on. Good mirror." She said as she let Snow go falling to the frozen lake gasping for air. She held out her hand and said some strange words suddenly the dark mirror glowed red as hearts appeared around the frame it shrunk to the size of a compact. Aleen walked out to where it was as it feel into her open hand. She laughed as she closed her hand and put it away in her dress.

She walked to where Snow was who was just now managing to stand. Suddenly she plunged her hand right into Snow pulling out her enchanted heart as Aleen smiled and stared at her lovely heart. " I am Aleen Queen of Hearts. And I'm sorry little sister it had to come to this. You see our father had a taste for dark candy. And I want to be the most powerful in all the realms and thanks to you now I am. " She said as she laughed and grinned turnning and walking off. Snow turned to a ice sculpture. " Don't worry dear your enchanted and wont melt away anytime soon. But there's no one to save you or any of these fools here. " She said with a wicked grin on her face as she saw Bunny.

" Come Bunny let's go have some fun. I'm done playing nice aren't you? I think it's time we give that Snake a make over." She said as she laughed and vanished in a red mist. Aleen appeared in the middle of the ballroom as the frozen floor had vanished along with snow. She laughed as she tapped just one of her shoes on the castle floor as enchanted roses started to appeared through out the castle. " Ahh so much better." She said as she laughed enchanted as ever.

Balthier noticed she wasn't in her room or in any other room in the castle. "Aleen!" he yelled, getting angry now at having to look for a missing person. "I have no time for these games!" he yelled as he stormed back to where there used to be happy people and now everything looked bland and the people were no longer happy but frightened. His eyes looked over at Aleen who looked different. He'd deal with her later, right now his biggest concern was his sister and Ezale. Balthier noticed that Snow was nowhere to be seen and suddenly had a bad feeling that Aleen was responsible for her disappearance.

Quickly he made his way to where Ezale and Jinx stood and looked over at Aleen. "What the heck are you laughing at Aleen?" he asked. "What's so funny? I don't see anyone else laughing, are you just that crazy?" he asked, standing protectively in front of both Ezale and Jinx. "Well all protect each other alright?" he ordered to Jinx and Ezale. Jinx nodded and looked over at Aleen. "Ready when you are." Jinx whispered. "Don't make a move yet." her brother warned, his eyes remained on Aleen. "You think you can just scream for every little thing and expect me to be okay with that? You think you can just vanish without telling me where you're going?!" he yelled at Aleen. "You're wrong! YOU do NOT just vanish like some immature child and expect ME to be waiting on you hands and feet!" Balthier yelled angrily. He was tired of her constant screaming for every little thing.

Aleen rolled her eyes as she waved her hand sending him flying across the room as his body turned to stone. She left only his eyes and nose and ears free from the stone. " I hate when guys get clingy. " She said as she cut her eyes to him. " We can fight later love and make up. However I have business to attend to. So let me work Dear. Be a good dragon and be the most handsome man here." She said with a wicked grin knowing his words had come back to haunt him. " Don't worry love I don't want your sister. I honestly had intended to be her friend. " She said in a sweet voice as she looked over at Bunny. " I owe a debt that must be paid. And honestly I'm tried of the act. Don't worry love I'm not that kind of girl. My mother taught me not to be mad she taught me to get even. " Aleen said as grinned looking at Balthier walking over to him. She ran her finger along his stone mouth as she smiled. " I'm really not a nice princess but I needed a cover to get in you see. You really are dense aren't you? Haven't you noticed I changed? You see I'm not the princess I played to be. In fact I'm not a princess at all." She said as she turned and looked at Prince Charming and the others. " I am Vida Aleen Amor Queen of Hearts." She said. As she grinned and held out her hand as the Dark Mirror appeared in it's now compact form. " I'm a Queen and no one tells me what to do. You could say I'm wicked." She said as she cut her eyes to Balthier.

Bunny stepped forward as she smiled and happily took the Dark Mirror as she looked at Ezale. " You really are a charmer you know. But you are useless like this to me. I'm sorry Jinx I really do like you and this isn't anything personal. But Ezale isn't meant to be a kind person. You see he's not really meant to be here like the rest of us. I have to take him home to save our world. " She said being honest as she held out the Dark Mirror to Ezale. " Dark Mirrior awaken the darkness within!" She commanded as a bright red light came from the mirror. It shot out at Ezale and wrapped around him lifting him in the air. Bunny frowned hearing his screams. She knew it was painful for him. The mirror was shredding his very soul.

As the light started to dissipate around Ezale a completely different person appeared. The young man had long black hair. He wore strange clothing. The man stood there his eyes closed suddenly his eyes flashed open. Their color gone from them now. He looked around as his eyes landed on Bunny and then shifted to Aleen. " Where am I?" He asked in a deep husky voice full of authority. His eyes shifted to Jinx as he stared at her. " So beautiful you are. You shame the red rose." He said to her as he gave her a honest smiled. He shifted his eyes as his smile turned into a wicked grin. " This place feels strange we should leave it. I don't like all the strange feelings." He said looking to a couple in love as he turned up his nose walking over to Bunny as he took her hand she held out for him. He wasn't sure where he was but he knew that he knew Bunny some how and he other women.

Bunny smiled as she saw him. " Come my Prince Hatter we shall leave shortly I promise. And yes she is beautiful. However we have work to do. When we are done we can come back for her if you like my dear Prince Hatter." She said meaning it as she smiled up at him fondly. She cut her eyes to Aleen as she closed her eyes hating to say what she was about to order Aleen to do. " Do it now Aleen! " She commanded as she held onto Hatter's arm.


Aleen nodded as she bowed and stepped forward as she held out her hand to Prince Charming. " My dear Prince Charming please be so dear and and command the guards to surrender. " She said as Prince Charming did what she asked looking at her with nothing but love in his eyes. She walked over to him and kissed his cheek as she smiled at him. " It's a shame Charming you are every girls dream except you are good. " She said as she looked at the wall behind the throwns. " Charming I want you to touch that wall and then open the glass case that the blue fairies wand is in. " She said as he did as she asked. Tears streamed down his face as he obeyed her. Aleen waked to the secret room that had been hidden as she smiled hearing the blue fairy scream. " It's to late dear. I already won. " She said as she touched the wand. The blue Fairy screamed as she was suddenly turned into a old mortal women. The wand glowed with a bred aura as she walked over and bowed handed it to Hatter.

"Balthier!" Jinx called as she saw her brother thrown across the floor and turned into stone. Her eyes cut to Aleen and then to Bunny as she approached them. Jinx's eyes widened in fear and she shook her head. "N-no! Leave Ezale alone!" she yelled but it was to no avail, she had to watch as Ezale was forced to change into another person. "No!" she cried out and in her anger towards Bunny, she burned the rose to a pile of ashes on the floor. "You are going to pay for this Bunny!" Jinx screamed out at her and glared at the new Ezale, she didn't care about him.. She was so hurt right now, all she wanted to do was cry and that's what she did, she ran over to where Balthier was and hugged him. She cried even though she knew he couldn't comfort her right now. Maybe there was a way to bring him back to normal but she didn't know. She was going to have to look in Snow's spellbook and hope that there was a spell there that could help. Where was Snow anyway? Why wasn't she here?

Balthier's eyes widened as he was thrown across the room and mostly turned to stone. At least he was still able to see, breath, and listen. He wasn't sure what good it did but he really couldn't complain even if he wanted to. What the heck was Aleen getting even for and with who? Did she really expect him to still like her after what she had just done? Maybe she was crazy and the thought made him laugh in his head because it was an amusing thought. Yes he loved evil, but now Jinx was crying into his stone chest. That was something he didn't love and both Aleen and Bunny were going to pay for all of this. He didn't love seeing his sister cry and knowing he couldn't do anything to comfort her. He didn't love hearing Ezale scream in pain as they tore out his very soul. He didn't love hearing the blue fairy scream either. So if Aleen thought that he would welcome her with open arms she was clearly mistaken. He wasn't taking her back at all, and if he had to he would make their relationship a living nightmare.

Aleen turned and she smiled looking at the Blue fairy. She held out her hand ready to have some fun with the blue Fairy. Suddenly Hatter reached out grabbing her hand rather roughly as his soulless eyes glared at her. " LET ME GO!" She said in a very angry tone. "Prince or not I'll punish you!" She said as she raised her hand to cast her spell. However before she could he slapped her and sent her to the floor. His cold eyes focused on her as he held the wand up. Suddenly a black necklace formed around her neck with a red heart hanging from it. Two black bracelets appeared making Aleen scream from pain. To her horror Hatter didn't seem to care that he was hurting her. Her power was being drained into the items. When it was done she was to weak to fight him. She looked up at him confused.

Bunny looked to Hatter not sure what was happening. " My Prince we have to go home." She said and covered her mouth as she watched what Hatter did to Aleen. " Oh.....My Prince why?" She asked looking to him as she was confused no why he had attacked Aleen. She did deserve to be put in her place but this was a little much she felt.

" Never make a move without my consent again Aleen." He said with a cold empty voice. " From now own you are my puppet. You seem to enjoy making puppets of your own so much. " He said as he looked forward hearing Bunny. " We will leave once I have the White Queen. " He said as he reached out pulling Aleen to her feet and looked at her coldly. " Summon her show me what you did to her." He said as he tighten his grip on her arm.

Aleen closed her eyes as the necklace glowed forcing her to do as he said. She waved her hand as Snow appeared in the middle of the dance floor. She was a lovely ice sculpture and looked as if she would come to life any moment. Aleen looked away not wanting to stare at the girl.

Hatter let Aleen go as he walked to where Snow was. He gently caressed her face as he ran his hand down to her chest where her heart should have been. He closed his eyes and then turned suddenly as he glared at Aleen. " I can't make you give back your hearts but I can give her life at your expense. " He said as he pointed the wand at her. He then suddenly pointed it at Merrick and grinned as he walked over and did what Aleen had done to Snow, Charming, and may other poor souls. Merrick screamed and hit the floor as he turned to stone He shattered on the floor as Hatter held what had been the man's enchanted heart. He didn't looked bothered at all as he walked over to Snow and placed the heart where her's should have been. He kissed her cheek almost lovingly as he walked over to Aleen and reached out pulling out the jeweled heart from her black necklace. He crushed it in his hand as it broke into. He placed one half back in her necklace as it reformed into a full heart.

Hatter walked over to Snow as he let one tear fall from his face it hit the fragment of heart turning into a full heart that started to glow. He then placed it at the base of her neck. Suddenly a white light game from it as a white necklace formed around her neck. The other heart vanished deep into the ice sculpture and suddenly a bright light came from the Ice sculpture. When it faded a younger Snow stood there.

"Please this is the way!" The Blue fairy said as she tried to reach out to Hatter. She knew that Ezale was still in there. " This wont bring back the person you love. If you do this to her she will live a lie. " The women said as she watched Hatter continue as if he didn't hear her. She saw Snow turn into a small girl and knew that Ezale was still there in Hatter's body. " Ezale please fight it! " She pleaded.

Hatter gently caressed the young girls cheek as he turned his head looking at the Blue fairy. " A promise is a promise. I can not leave her here. This place has never been kind to her. She is my dear one and for once I want her to be happy. I want her to have the life she should have had. " He said as he bent down and kissed her forehead. " It's time to go home my little Queen." He said picking her up in his arms. He used the wand opening a portal to their realm. He used the wand one last time to break all of Aleen's spells freeing Balthier and they others who had feel under Aleen's spell. He then then held out the want as it returned to the Blue Fairy. He turned as started walking into the portal with Bunny and Aleen.

When they brought Snow over, Balthier's eyes widened and he wanted to run over to her but he couldn't. What had Aleen done to her?! He was glad when he was finally able to move again and wrapped his arms around Jinx, picking her up into his arms. "Blondie..." he said softly as he looked at the little girl who was now in the new Ezale's arms. It made him feel sick to his stomach. It was wrong, it was so wrong to think that she was the lovely Snow who he had so much fun with earlier. He wasn't sure where they were going but he was going to follow them, he didn't care. He was on a mission to get Ezale back to his sister. "Don't worry Jinx, we'll get him back." he whispered to her.

"What if we can't? What if they're all lost forever?" she asked her brother. "Then we learn to accept it and try our best to move on. What would mother do?" Balthier asked her. "She would try all she could try. She never gives up so easily." Jinx whispered and looked up at her brother who was now carrying her, making her smile sadly. "Are you going to stay with Aleen?" she asked quietly. Balthier frowned, "Not unless I have to. I was hoping to go out with Blondie later but now it just seems wrong to want to even talk to the little child." Balthier answered as he followed after the group.

The portal was starting to close be hind the group as they suddenly appeared in Wonderland. The bright colors where fading from wonderland the land looked as if it was dying. Bunny lead the way through the dying wonderland. Past Aleen's castle and even past the Black Kingdom's castle. And even past the White Kingdom's castle. She lead them to the heart of wonderland to the Castle of Wonderland. Each kingdom was represented in the Castle. However it was easy to see that the Castle was losing it's color just like the rest of wonderland. As they approached the throne Bunny bowed along with Aleen and the others who had gathered.

Hatter froze as he stared at the status of wonder land. It was starting to fade wither and die. He didn't understand why until a beautiful women who looked like one he knew appeared as if from a vision. Her color was fading and she looked like she was dying. It hurt Hatter to look at her. He knew her some how and wanted to help her.

" Shh...it's alright my dear Hatter you don't need to speak. I can see in your eyes that you remember me in some form. It has been to long since one of my heirs have sat on the thrown. With out a heir here to keep order the land has started to die along with the people. There are many kingdom's here in our land. But all of them bow to one rather they like it or not. With no heir here to rule the kingdoms have been fudging. Those for other lands have entered our realm and left with the hearts of our royals from different lands. Most of the Kingdom's are with out heirs. With out order and hope everything here is dying." The women said as she held up her hand and showed the different Kingdoms. " The White Kingdom has waited for their heir but she had not been found. The Black Kingdom has looked for their heir and it has not been found. Only the heir of hearts has been around. However until now the key pieces that hold the order here have been gone from wonderland lost in another world. " She said as she smiled faintly at Hatter.

" You know me very well my heir. I am Wonderland. I see that my servant Bunny has brought you home. I see you found the heir of White. Oh....the poor girl." She said as she looked to Aleen. " Even in the other world your jealousy couldn't be tamed? You did dark deeds to the Queen of White. As such you will pay most dear. Give back what is not yours. It was not her doing for what your father chose. The King loved your mother once but she betrayed him so he threw her away. However the Queen of Snow from another realm mad her way here. The King feel madly in love with her and for a time she with him. But like all things that are not of Wonderland she had to leave. With her she took your Sister the heir of White. You blame your sister for what your father chose and look what it has coast you. Your father and mother never wanted you to turn out this way little Queen. Because of you I lost my heir. " Wonderland said as she looked to Hatter. " My sweet sweet boy that bracelet you wear on your wrist from whom did you receive it. " Wonderland asked softly.

She smiled as she saw something happen to Hatter as both sides of him became one. Ezale and Hatter fused together as they remembered their mother and then remembered who she really was and the land they had escaped from. " That's right my dear boy your mother isn't some random gypsy. She is the Daughter of Wonderland. After the King of hearts left to try and find his Queen of Ice from the other world a war broke out between the Black Kingdom and the Heart Kingdom. You see something special was taken from them as well. The women that the Black King had fallen in love with was sent back to her own realm along with the Queen of Ice. The two King fought with each other when they couldn't reach the other realms and had lost the Queen's the loved. But soon their heat turned to every kingdom even to us. Your mother knew the rules of wonder land when she used the last of her magic to open the portal to anther realm. No memories would she every have of being the ruler here or of her old life. She did it to protect you. The kings had long killed themselves. Wonderland is waiting for it's heir's to come home. So my beloved Hatter shall you come home to me my little Snake?"

Snake stared at the women as she saw her started to fade away even more. He looked down at Snow who still slept and held her close as he took a seat on the throne. As he did so a light came out and went all through wonderland as wonderland returned to how it once was. He looked around as he looked back down to his sleeping Snow. " Will she be alright?" Was as he whispered as he stared at the small girl.

Wonderland looked at him now back to her full color as she smiled softly. " Of course she will my King. But she wont be as she was. Even if her heart is returned the damage has been done. It was your wish was it not for her to start over here? Please don't be angry with Bunny. Wonderland is neither good nor bad but she had to awaken the darkness in you so you could bring everyone back to wonderland. Wonderland is full of madness and while your other side you had made was charming he wasn't mad nor evil and wouldn't have done what was necessary to open the portal. I would love to see my beloved daughter again but she had made a life in the other world that I would never take from her. My dear little Snake you must bring order back to wonderland. You must awaken the other heirs and bring peace to the land. For what Aleen did to the heir of white she should be stripped fully of her powers. And forced to give back the heart she stole." Wonderland said softly.

Jinx and Balthier listened in absolute silence at the woman speaking. Jinx wiggled her way out of her brother's arms and stood beside him, holding his hand tightly in her own. As they listened, Balthier looked around in confusion. He didn't know where they were and noticed that the portal had closed. This frightened him. "Jinx, the portal closed. How are we ever getting back to mother?" he whispered to her. "We use our magic of course." Jinx answered. "Jinx we are no longer in school, I don't know where we are but I don't like it. What if our magic doesn't even work here?" he asked quietly. "What would mother do?" Jinx said with a smile, repeating the words he had just told her. "You're right. Still, this place doesn't feel right..." Balthier whispered to her, holding her close. The last thing he needed was loosing her in this odd place.

Wonderland's eyes shifted from Aleen as she moved through the girl not having physical body of her own. She appeared before Jinx and she smiled at her with wonder in her eyes. " Your home you are all home finally. I didn't think I'd live to see the day all of my children came home. " She said as she shifted her eyes to Balthier and smiled as tears of happiness fell from her eyes turning into lovely flowers as they fell hitting the castle floor. " Your home finally all of you." She said as she looked to Bunny smiling. " I'm very proud of you my servant you brought them all home to me. " She said as she looked back to little Snow who still laid in Hatter's arms. Her eyes cut to Aleen.

" For your wicked deed and frozen heart I will strip you of all your power. " She said as suddenly a red light came from Aleen and formed into a ball in front of Wonderland. When it stopped forming Aleen had no powers left. And suddenly the hearts she had taken appeared like beautiful gems. Wonderland looked at each one then smiled as they suddenly all shot out returning to their bodies. Snow's hovered above her body as Merricks came out and her's returned. Wonderland smiled as she led up her hand as Merrick appeared and his heart returned to him. He was dressed in red and black. " Bunny you did well but I wish you hadn't been so mean. I know it was hard for you to play a evil person. But I think it's time you get your own Prince." Wonderland said as the red orb of Aleen's magic went to Bunny transforming her. " Promise me that you will never be mean to any again. This time you will adore little Snow and be her closest friend. I believe until Aleen learns how to love and to be a better person you should keep her powers. I know your a good person." Wonderland said as Meerick open his eyes and saw Bunny. " Bunny my Bunny!" He said as Bunny ran to him and wrapped her arms around him. " Wonderland looked to Jinx and Balthier. " I love a good ending." She said as she looked to Aleen. " It's time for you to go home I hope you will think on your doings. Be a better ruler and person." Wonderland said as she waved her hand Aleen vanished and so did Bunny and Merrick.

Hatter looked down at Snow as he waited for any signs that she was still alive. He smiled as the young girl started to stir in his arms. She slowly open her eyes as she stared up at the strange man. She stared at him for a while then a soft smile appeared on her lips as she slowly sat up and wrapped her arms around his neck. " Prince Snake!" He looked at her as he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. He gently let go as she did so with him. He looked to Wonderland who smiled and laughed as Snow looked at her in wonder and awe.

"Do I know you? " Snow asked as she looked at the pretty women. She slowly slide off of Snake's lap as she walked to where wonderland was and then walked around her staring at her in wonder and awe. She finally stopped in front of the women as she laughed and smiled. " Your really pretty you know. " She smiled as she turned looking over at Snake. " It's such a pretty day outside why would you bother to stay in here alone? Come one let's go play!" She said as she turned and saw Jinx and Balthier . "Oh...." She said as she walked over to Balthier as if being drawn to him. She tried to stand up on her tip toes to stare into his eyes but couldn't reach. She finally motioned to him to come down to her level.

"Home?" both Balthier and Jinx repeated in unison. Balthier raised his hand, "I have a few questions about my entire exsistance." he said and lowered his hand. "What do you mean you are our mother? Our mother is Maleficent and you don't look anything like her." he said honestly. "Are you perhaps just our magical second mother we were never told about in order to protect us?" he asked. "He doesn't mean to sound rude Ma'am, he is just a little confused and so am I. You must forgive out idiocy." Jinx explained, not wanting anything bad to happen from the questions he had asked. "Second mother, please don't cry." Balthier said and quickly wiped away his tears like he always would do to his real mother. He hated seeing girls cry.

"Prince Snake?" Jinx said. "Yeah, Apparently weasel here is a pretty big deal." Balthier said to his sister. "B-but he looks nothing like Ezale." Jinx whispered. "I know, but let's give the new weasel a chance. Maybe it's the same guy just changed his entire look. I'm more worried about blondie here. She's so tiny." Balthier explained and looked at the little girl who was once Snow. Jinx looked at the little girl and smiled, little snow was adorable! "Oh but she's so cute brother!" Jinx gasped. "Yes I know but she's what...ten years old? That's wrong." he said to his sister hoping she understood what he meant.

"Did you like her?" Jinx asked. Balthier sighed, "Blondie was growing on me. Now she shrunk on me...literally." he said and looked at the tiny Snow who approached him. When she motioned for him to come down to her level, he blinked but got down on his knees to look at her. "Yes?" he asked her and wondered what she was going to do, probably poke his eyes or something like regular children tended to do to him. Kids were cute yes, but they were the true definition of evil sometimes with their little tricks.

Snow smiled as he knelt down for her. She gently caressed his face and stared into his eyes her own full of wonder. " Your very enchanting you know. And very handsome." She said softly as she smiled and kissed his cheek softly before stepping back and letting go of his face looking to Snake. " He's like you only better. " She said in a playful tone looking back to Balthier. " I hope you will come and see me sometime." She said as she turned feeling someone near her. She saw it was Wonderland and smiled warmly up at her. Wonderland told her to go play outside but not to leave the castle grounds. Snow nodded as she smiled as ran for the door. She jumped back in surprise as a strange men appeared dressed in white. They made her caused ice to form across the castle floor and up the pillars. The man all bowed to her. The men looked at her and just smiled as they laughed seeming to be happy to see her. They called her the White Queen. She wasn't sure about any of this until she saw a young girl and young boy. The girl smiled warmly and so did the boy. She felt her fear melt away as the girl held out a white ball to her. Snow laughed as she ran outside with the two the men in white followed her and the other children.

Wonderland turned as she looked at Jinx and Balthier. " I am not your Mother in that way. You see I am the embodiment of Wonderland. Wonderland is full of strange magic and I'm the physical form of that magic. You are the heirs to the Black Kingdom's throne. Your mother is Malnificent is she not? Once long ago as I said others from different realms than ours came to Wonderland. Your mother fell in love with the Black King and he her. However for some strange reason your mother was pulled away from Wonderland along with Snow's mother. I'm sure that both tried to get back to Wonderland. It broke your father heart when he lost your mother. As it broke Snow's father's heart. Snows father came from a marriage of the daughter of the white Kingdom and the heart kingdom. There where no other heirs. So when he had two daughters the first was heir to the Heart kingdom and the Second was Heir to the White Kingdome. Merrick is Aleen's brother that their mother had after she fell in love with one of the guards. The King of hearts had been betrayed by her and had divorced her before he had found out about Aleen. It was then that he met Snow's mother and fell in love with her. Aleen has never forgiven her father for not being there for her. You see by the time Aleen was born both of your father had spent all their waking moments trying to find your mothers they had forgot about their responsibility as kings. In their sorrow they felt it was my heir's fault and that he had sent your mother's away on purpose. So they came and no one survived that day sadly. It's time we take you to the Black Kingdom. You just like Snake have two side to you. I believe when you both take your seats on the throne's you'll awaken your Wonderland self and things will make more sense. " She said softly and looked to Snake who had joined her. " Don't worry Snow is perfectly safe here. Her guards are here to protect her. It's better if we keep her away from the Black Kingdom until you two awaken your wonderland selves. "

She said as they suddenly appeared in a strange castle. The walls where made from black marble and it looked very regal. People suddenly fell to the floor as they all started to whisper seeing Wonderland. " Lady Wonderland it has been years since you have appeared. " Many of the people said starting to gossip as they looked at Jinx and Balthier along with Snake. Wonderland held up her hands as silence fell across the castle. She then walked to the thrones as she bowed facing Jinx and Bathier. " Please come and take your places. "

Balthier closed his eyes as she caressed his face and then opened his yellow eyes when she spoke. "Well thank-you little Snow." he said to her and smiled warmly. "You are very cute you know." he said to her and tucked some hair behind her ear. Jinx was right, she was adorable and that was all she would ever be. Balthier couldn't help but laugh when she said he was better than Snake, "Oh my goodness! Well aren't you just precious!" Balthier said and looked over at the new Ezale. "She's right you know." he said and chuckled then looked back at Snow and nodded. "I will do my best to visit you as much as I can." Balthier promised before standing and sighing softly as he watched her run off to play with the other children of the realm. She really was a completely new person.

Balthier and Jinx both stared at Wonderland as they were taught a very interesting history lesson. One that their mother never mentioned. They nodded at her question on if Maleficent was their mother. Jinx was smiling the entire time, going 'awww' every now and then when she found something about the story cute. So their father was the Black King? Well at least now they knew and now they knew where they came from. Their father was the reason they loved the dark color so mush. It was the reason his mother always wore it, and Balthier found that very sweet. Upon hearing about Snow's and Aleen's parents, it made more sense as to why Aleen was so mean to Snow all that time. Maybe Bunny really wasn't such a bad person after all. She was only pretending to be. Balthier felt pretty bad for always assuming Bunny was a bad person and he knew Jinx felt bad now too.

Jinx looked around at what she assumed was their new home and then looked at Balthier who was busy staring at the people who were staring back at them. "Come on." she whispered to Balthier and walked over to the thrones where Wonderland stood, waiting for them. Taking a deep breath, Jinx sat on her throne and blinked. She didn't feel any different yet and looked at Wonderland. Jinx had fully transformed into a different person. Her eyes were still a bright yellow though and she wore a dark grey dress with striped stocking and dark grey buckled boots. It was odd really but maybe this was supposed to happen? When Balthier sat down, he seemed to change too and he wasn't sure how to feel about it because he was now a cat?! His bright yellow eyes widened when he reached up and felt cat ears. "Oh no..." he whispered.

Wonderland laughed as she smiled at them. " Do not fear you are still you. So you are still dragon too. Here this your appearance. Give it a week and you'll be able to pick witch form you wish to stay in while you are here." She said seeing how worried Balthier looked. She turned as all the people looked so happy and confused. " Listen well all the heirs have come home and have saved us all! Your Prince and Princess have returned. All hail King Balthier and Princess Jinx. " She said as she smiled hearing the shouts of happiness. " In one week the coordination of all the heirs shall occur at the wonderland palace. I expect you all to welcome their majesty's back with open arms and help them as they need. " She said as she smiled walking over to Balthier. " Your wrong my dear King to be. Little Snow will grow fast here but the question is are you going to wait for her? Everyone in wonderland is tied together. Just like the beautiful Jinx is tired to Snake. It appears for the first time in many years the King of Black has formed a blond with the Queen of white. That hasn't happen since Wonderland was very young. And a Princess of Black hasn't formed a tie with the King of wonderland since then either. "You should rest and enjoy yourselves here. All I ask if for you to stay for a year. That will give me time to gather my power back so I can help you reach your mothers. I would suggest you spend time with your people and learn to be a good ruler. I would also suggest you keep your promise to little Snow. She may grow up and surprise you how beautiful she could be. Besides there are other suitors who would seek to take her. Wonderland is not without it's evils as any land." She said as she smiled and suddenly vanished.

Snake stood outside not sure how he got there as he watched Snow play with the other children. He smiled as he watched. He was surprised as the children through the ball to him and weren't afraid of him. He smiled as Snow walked over and grabbed his hand pulling him alone. She looked so happy it melted his heart. He smiled being effected with Snow's infectious smile and energy. He stared at her as he felt a peace and noticed that everyone did. Everything seemed to be enchanted around her. He noticed even the plants seemed to have brighter colors around her. He found himself laughing as he joined in and was surprised as more people started to appear. None of them seemed to be afraid if anything they looked over joyed to see him and all eyes where on little Snow. She seemed to make everyone happy by just looking at her. He watched as she walked up to some rather scary looking creators and showed them kindness and made them suddenly into kittens in her hands. He watched her in awe as he turned seeing Wonderland beside him suddenly. He turned his head as he saw a strange man he vaguely remembered appeared. The man had tears as he bowed to Snake. Snake stared at him and told him it was alright and to rise. It was think that Snake remembered the man. He had been a loyal adviser and had tried to protect him and his mother. He was the one that had given his mother her bracelets. Snake smiled as he hugged the man back.

Jinx smiled at the people and listened to Wonderland. Balthier listened as well and blinked in surprise. "She will?" he asked and frowned slightly. What kind of question was that? Did she think he would not? Was he supposed to keep his eyes on someone else? When Jinx heard she was tied to snake still, she blushed and wondered if he even remembered her though. "We promise to remain here all year." Jinx promised and looked over at Balthier who looked like he was enjoying this new life so far. Balthier narrowed his eyes though at the mention of other suitors though. "Other suitors?" he repeated but Wonderland was gone. "I'll wait as long as I have to and I will keep all the other suitors away from her. Little Snow, is my little Snow." he said seriously. "Besides, she said I'm enchanting, handsome, and better than your weasel." Balthier said with a smirk.

"I admit that she did say that yes." Jinx admitted with a nod of her head as she ran her slender pale fingers through her black hair and looked at the people. "Well hello. Ummm..please be patient, we are rather confused just as I am sure many of you are as well." she started and thought for a moment. "We can do this though, I...we ask for your help in showing us the way. We would appreciate any help you can give us, do not be afraid to speak up." she said and looked at Balthier who nodded. "Jinx is right, we will do our best to make you all proud of calling us the prince and princess. Soon to be king and queen." Balthier said.
