Siipu, I feel you on the banana is only good by itself. Not in pancakes, waffles, breads, smoothies. With banana in whatever all I can taste is the banana. Overwhelms everything else that it is mixed with.

Shadami, when I eat a banana, that's all I expect to taste. If I get a smoothie that has banana, strawberry, mango, pineapple and any other fruit thrown together, I do not expect to only taste banana. Banana kills, murders, maims, takes over all the other flavors. Might as well just order a damn banana smoothie.

Pickles never did that for me, Amane. Guess we all have that one food that ruins it for us. For the record, Green Bell pepper is another one of those items that over takes other flavors and ruins dishes for me.

Pickles and I have a tense relationship. The smell of pickles in a room is enough to make me think I'm really going to throw up. It takes over everything. For me, pickle kills, murders, maims, takes over, obliterates, annihilates, slaughters everything it comes into contact with. Just talking about it is enough to make me imagine the taste and wanna be sick. I once walked by shelves of pickle jars at the grocery and got a whiff and coulda' died.

Someone once told me I'd have to "dill" with my pickle aversion someday. *facepalms laughing*

I haven't mixed banana with things before, but I think I know what you mean. Bananas take over like Julius Caesar. At least I like bananas.

Counteract all this banana talk, I am eating a fun sized Snickers bar...life is good.

Wonder what it is about bananas that disagree with her.

I like them as an addition to my breakfast, or mid morning snack. Only by themselves though.

Yeah me too. I know she can eat my moms banana bread. So it has to be something with the raw banana.
