Why laugh at someone's dream? Or belittle them for having the dream, how would I feel if someone did that to me? Some people have in the past been unkind, just have to be a duck let it roll off your back. Plus, I've been kind of chubby my whole life, lots of people made fun of me, never felt that great so I don't pass that experience forward. Ever.

If you ever have questions about LA and other things around that area, having grown up 45 minutes from there I am quite knowledgeable of the area and things to do.

On that note, if you ever want to watch the world walk by, head down to Santa Monica and the 3rd Street promenade, you'll see lots of things there.

Oh no, I didn't think you were attacking me or having a "go" at me. Far from it. I come from a family that loves to debate things and when I say debate that's exactly what I mean. Not that shit that was television the other night between thing one and thing two. A true debate where both sides speak their mind about the subject and why they think that way, listen to the other person, don't hurl insults and feelings aren't hurt. A true debate. Some people seem to think a debate is hurling insults at each other until one or the other is extremely pissed off, it comes down to blows or someone is crying. How is that any fun?

People have got annoyed with me on sooo many online sites when i've tried to debate with them! Thye think i'm having a good, instead of meerly assessing an issue from multiple angles!
I watched the debate, and I really trying to listen to what Trump was saying with an open mind as I've not given his words a proper listen apart from when viewed on comedy shows, so I just wanted to see what he was actually saying. And I was shocked, I just cannot see any logical reason to vote for him, he's not personable, he's offensive, and he doesnt actually really give any policy he just talks. It's amazing to me he got that far.
I mean in the UK we have a similar bigoted nutter, called nigel farrage, but at least he gave some policy and I could kind of see how a certain type of person could vote for him. It just baffles me though!

I have no problems with debates, as long as they don't attack me and the opposing party does the courtesy of listening to what I say as well. However, this is the internet and people think that because you can't actually see the other person you are screaming, cursing and otherwise degrading then it is quite all right to belittle, harass and generally be an ass to that person. I also take exception to people that when they are called out for being malicious instantly try to make you look like the bad person that can't handle what they are saying. Those kind of people I prefer to not debate with, or have any real conversation with because they insist upon shoving their ideas down your throat every chance they get.

Don't worry, Easty, you aren't on that list.

I hate the obstinate people who simply will not accept any opinion other than their own! Like you don't have to agree, but you can respect me for what I believe. ironically its often bible bashers who are that way xD It's like, okay, so its fine for you to shove the 'lords good word' down my throat, but if I try to have a voice of my own its unacceptable? XD

(p.s. by bible bashers I don't mean those with faith I mean the manic preachers who thank god for everything and think everyone else should too)

Yeah, for some reason I attract those people and I am so not religious at all. Never really have been. My parents didn't attend church, they didn't have us attend church. They were flexible though, if you wanted to go they would drive us there and pick us up. Some of my friends were Christians and a few Catholic, now and than I would go with them for whatever reason. Definitely not a habitual worshiper.

Most of my bad encounters have been with those that are called born again Christians. People that have erred in the paths of their lives and now Church is their drug of choice so they take everything that is said and written WAY to seriously. Halloween is a pagan holiday, Christmas shouldn't be celebrated, everyone should praise the word of the lord, etc. Speaking with that particular group about anything that challenges their new beliefs and you are enemy numero uno.

Debating with myself if I want to forgo the Halloween party at the VFW on Saturday the 29th of October and go to my friend's suddenly planned girl's weekend that is doubling as her bachelorette party, even though that is a horrible weekend to try and plan anything since Halloween is on a Monday this year. Or do I go to the VFW for a bit and then head over to the bachelorette party?

Starting Saturday after the company picnic at the Zoo, the husband and I are getting back on the gym horse. I can't be a lazy lush anymore just not working out, need to get myself a moving and with the weather turner cooler I can actually go for walks in the evenings.
