Hoping that today goes by quickly and I can get everything I need to do done. And naturally the receptionist that has been here a month or so is out sick today. Playing double duty again, darn it.

Trying to break the habit of biting my nails, one of those oral fixation things, got my nails done with the gel nail polish and that's causing them to be longer. Not sure if I can go the three weeks before getting the polish taken off and nails trimmed. They aren't overly long, but long enough for me to feel the difference when typing.

Omg queenie, that moment when you have long nails and they slip and get jammed in a key....
I have short to mid length nails, because I craft a lot and work with my hands they just dont stand a chance. My thumbnails are strong a balls though.
As for oral fixation I'm the same. I don't bite my nails though I bite the skin around them, typically when i'm stressed or my anxiety is flaring, it can get quite bad a very sore. I try my best not to but I can even do it in my sleep.

As for work, I hope its not too stressful! Its illness season and well...may the odds be ever in your favour ;)

Easty, I do the same thing with the skin. We appear to suffer from Auto cannibalism! And it's an accepted form of Cannibalism, which I find oddly fascinating.

Monotone teachers are the absolute worsts, right next to the ones that think they are teaching you something, but in reality have not conveyed one useful fucking fact and you're sitting there with a blank look on your face and it seems to incite their anger to the point of them yelling at you about what don't you understand. Those are the worst teachers. Had a math teacher like that, totally useless about actually teaching things or conveying the information in a way that everyone could learn. Half the class was perpetually behind because we didn't learn the one way he was teaching us.

I'm proud to say I fall under neither of those categories in my teaching.

And yes autocanibalism, not our fault we taste so good!

If we taste so good, can you imagine how good baby must taste? So soft and uncorrupted by years of abuse from this harsh world. Almost like eating Filet Mignon. No knife necessary, just melts in your mouth.

Yeah exactly.
Besides the ones who can at least fake their
enthusiasm can make a boring subject interesting.
Like one of my teacher, I absolutely adore her.

Amane, thanks for the shout out on an awesome post. I am sure there is argument that baby would not be the best kind of meat to eat since it's higher in fat content than say a Toddler. Toddlers have more muscle definition and still have some of the baby fat from when they were infants, making them equally, if not more delicious, right?

I'm not educated on what gives meat flavor, but I know that fat is very tasty. There's no way a baby wouldn't taste divine, what with their fresh flesh and all that fat. I, too, wonder if letting them age up to the toddler stage would add anything at the sacrifice of a little softness and fat.

Well I suppose thats why people eat veal...

Human meat does smell like bacon when it burns so I suppose babies would be like giant walking bacon strips

I'm all hormonal and have baby fever, walk in here and y'all are talking about eating babies.

Yeah the closest thing to human flesh in terms of reaction cooking texture and smell is pork.
