I was supposed to get my hair dyed today, but the salon I went to didn't really know how to dye ethnic hair and they told me that to get the color I wanted it would take 6 sessions of 4+ hours each session, which would cost me $180 per session.

Well, I don't even have $180 in my bank account, so no thanks to that!

I used to get my hair dyed by a woman who worked in her own salon and she had a biracial daughter with the same hair texture as me, so she used to dye my hair for $60 and get it to the right color in one hour. :( I have NO clue why the salon I went to today, (who doesn't have curly haired clients) said it would take 6 sessions to get my hair to the color I wanted. That's bullshit! >:(

Anyway, I'm done. I'm sad I don't get my hair colored today.

after the wedding I'm in I'm chopping my hair off to donate it and getting some obnoxious colored hair dye and putting highlights in it.

Michy Lea, that Ava's hair dying should take six sessions to be completed. Sounds more like the salon was trying to take more money for a procedure that could be easily done in a fraction of the time. Or better yet, they could have admitted they didn't know how to work on that hair type instead of bullshitting their way through an explanation. Honesty trumps bullshit every time.

Me, I am just a bit annoyed that I donated sixty dollars on Friday for Mennies and they didn't show up, so I sent an e-mail to Menewsha support explaining that the mennies were MIA, haven't heard anything. Today I e-mailed Menewsha through their PayPal account explaining once again that I had donated and got no mennies, contacted them via e-mail on Friday and had heard nothing and was now following up for a status report on the situation and have still not heard a peep. There is also the thread I posted in the help desk asking for assistance regarding this matter and nope, nothing.

Kind of starting to get irritated, like stop the transaction through PayPal, request my money back and just leave all the pixels here to someone else, irritated. Slow responses are frustrating to me.

I agree, Queen.... They were definitely bullshitting their way through an explanation.

I'm sorry that Menewsha is taking 5ever to respond. It must be awful. :(

They have until tomorrow to get this straightened out. The part that irritates me the most, especially coming from a customer service stand point is that NO ONE has responded to my e-mails or the post in the help desk. Guess this means I should probably PM Zig or Knerd since they seem to be on right now. But I have done everything I should through the support e-mail and then paypal... I guess since it's my money that has already been taken and paid that I should be the one that finds out where my goods are... Ugh.
